Great service and beautiful pastries! It's such a nice experience and location. Love it.

Frozen very hard and distasteful cupcakes the chocolate one were frozen but they thawed out enough that my daughter ate most of it.

Sam’s Banh Mi Cafe - Sugarcane Durian drink & fresh rolls

    Sam’s Banh Mi Cafe

My wife and I stopped by Sam's Banh Mi today, and this place delivers…read more We both ordered the fried pork banh mi, and it was loaded with flavor. The pork was seasoned right, and everything worked together the way it should. But honestly, the bread is what sold me. They make it fresh in-house, and you can tell. It's light, airy, with just the right bite--exactly what a banh mi is supposed to be. The spot itself is small, but clean and well kept. It's more of a walk-up-and-order setup, not a sit-down-with-a-server kind of place, which I actually don't mind for this style of food. Just know what you're walking into. Drinks are grab-and-go from a cooler--sodas, water, tea--so don't expect fountain drinks or freshly brewed sweet tea. That said, they do have some interesting specialty drinks on the menu like fresh sugar cane with durian and kumquat, which I'll probably try next time just out of curiosity. great food, solid spot, and absolutely worth the stop. We'll be back.

Well round three, added the meatball and vegetarian sammich to the list. Another fabulous lunch…read moreexperience. Only negative was low traffic flow at lunch time, ya'll come on and support these folks. If this place were to close it would be a terrible loss. May have been slower due to MLk holiday. If you haven't tried yet then DO IT, you will not regret it. Fresh and great tasting, from the bread (maybe the best I have ever had) to the toppings. I cannot say enough good about these delightful sandwiches. Did notice spring rolls after we ordered and paid, cannot wait to try them next visit. Service was excellent with friendly staff and spotless dining area. Cannot list anything I would want different, a perfect lunch quick and price below the daily average.

Visited in the morning at 1115am and the energy in the store was upbeat, positive and welcoming…read more There was one person in line and I was served immediately. I ordered 2 Kahuna Phillies and a Club Supreme sans mayo. The Supreme Club was recommended and I was told it was a delicious sub. I enjoyed every bite of my Kahuna Philly Large, the bread was soft, airy and so so fresh, juicy all whilst not being soggy even after the 10 minute commute to it's final destination . I accompanied all subs with chips (Ms. Vicky's Jalapeño Chips, spicy if you're a little ****, Salt and Vinegar and a Sun Chip) because texture is necessary, right! I was quite impressed with the sub a matter of fact. The flavors all worked so well together, it was not salty either as most Philly Cheesteaks get, the melt in the cheese and cook on the meat was very well executed. Props to the cooks, wonderful job gents. The flavors in the Philly were spicy, meaty, cheesy and earthy from the fresh wheat bread, the tangyness from the pickled jalapeños cut the richness from the cheese and meat, the sweetness from the red bell peppers and sautéed onions complemented the spicy very well. It's a well thought out sandwich and the portion of the meat and just the whole sub was gratifying at the price point. I was initially awed by the price and after eating the sub, I was left feeling I got value! This sub puts Fire-House and Subway to shame in my book! The bread is quite impressive! I will definitely be returning in a week to have another sub after a high intensity workout.

They are exceptional. The sandwiches are yummy and the service is great…read more It's clean, family oriented and lots of fun.
