I was in town for Mardi Gras and a friend of mine requested me to bring back King Cake donuts. The night before leaving town, I arrived , ordered and I was told pull around. Great right. I paid and was given my order. I didn't think to check it. When I got home I did notice it was indeed not the Mardi Gras donuts by I was given cheesecake donuts instead. I called back and was told to come back in the morning. Got back and was told they were sold out since the night before. I understand sold out but if that was the case I should have been told that instead of just being given anything. My kids love coming here for treats. They give each kid a free glazed donut for each A on their report card, and my kids think that's the best thing ever. A black lady in Krispy Kreme uniform finally showed up in the window obnoxiously signing us to use the drive through. Oh, Krispy Kreme, you're not my favorite but you're pretty good. This location is a pretty busy location, but considering that, they are pretty clean and service is fairly quick. Do yourself a favor, and try to stay away when kids get report cards because I believe they give a free donut for every "A" you get. Lines both inside and outside can get super long. Besides that, the donuts are always fresh and selection is decent. They just recently did away with my all time favorite....the crueller That was my go to, but for now I suppose the original glazed will do. They still offer a cooler with various milks and juices, and also serve both hot and iced coffee beverages. They also sell their kcups and KK gear like mugs and tumblers. You can watch them make the donuts , which is fun for the little ones! I've gone numerous times and it's always a terrible experience. I keep trying thinking it will be different but this morning we just walked out without completing our order. They're often out of things, especially specialty donuts but many times I've been told they're out of original glazed as well. Everything in the case looks stale and many of them are smashed against the glass. I try not to go at peak times to improve my chances of getting a fresher donut but it's never worked out. This morning the young lady barely spoke, and when it was time to check us out she turned her back to us and stared at the other employees. She called for one lady numerous times but she didn't respond, then that lady went to the window to help the girl at the drive thru and still the young lady working with us kept her back turned and offered no reason why this was happening. Pretty much every employee made eye contact with us. One came up from the back and promptly turned around with no offer of assistance. So we just left. I understand needing help if you're not familiar with the register but at least let the customer know what's going on instead of just turning your back. Absolute worst service I've ever experienced. I paid for 4 dozen doughnuts online and arrived at the restaurant to pick them up 1 hour before closing, the lobby was closed so I got in the drive thru and sat for over an hour, just to be told by a teenage girl that they were no longer serving anyone, I explained that I had been waiting for over an hour and had already paid for my doughnuts. I asked to speak to the Manager, she walked inside and came back out and told me that the Manager would not speak to me. I waited and pulled up to the window as they locked the window, after several minutes the manager walked to the window and told me to contact corporate and ask for a refund on Monday. His name was Jermaine Watkins. He was extremely rude and said that the restaurant had run out of doughnuts earlier in the evening, except as we were talking to him an employee walked past with at least 8 boxes.
