Their specialty. There's a glass window that children and on-goers can view the glazing process! It gets very packed very quickly. It's not the most ideal location on the corner of a very busy intersection. Sometimes (idk if this is legal - but I'll park in the CVS parking lot behind it and walk over if it's super packed. It does have a drive thru. But on the busy days and hours, it can be somewhat of a headache. It was next door to the infamous Ham & Eggery in North Miami Beach but they closed that down. Order taker cut me off while trying to order by giving me total right after I said I wanted 6 donots. I had to say, "hold on, I'd like to get coffee too" . My kids came home from school excited to tell me that Krispy Kreme will give them a free doughnut for every A they got on the report card. I finally took them and the manager told me that we could not get free donuts without a printed report card from the district. Our district does not print report cards. They told me that the kids from the private schools do get printed report cards so they will give them to the kids from the private schools but not to the kids from the public schools. I found this to be incredibly unfair. My kids were very disappointed and of course I ended up having to buy them doughnuts anyways. The woman was very rude on top of it. Whenever I am craving some fresh doughnuts, this is my go to. I love Krispy Kreme! It is so fresh and perfectly made. Every time I come here, it never seizes to amaze me that every bite melts in my mouth. So far, all the doughnuts I've had in this joint is freshly made. I love seeing the sign on when the doughnuts has just been made. The Krispy Kreme that you buy inside grocery stores just doesn't cut it. My friend is pregnant and demanded a dozen of these. I wasn't going to let her down so I came to pick up a hot box while the light was on. It was kinda packed when I first walked in but it moves pretty quickly and I was at the register within minutes. I decided last minute to get an extra chocolate glazed one for her husband just in case which proved to eventually be worthwhile. Those doughnuts were super hot when the box was handed to me so I know they were freshly made. She ended up making a ice cream sandwich with the doughnuts and then sprinkling cereal on it with some extra sprinkles. It was pretty impressive. If you're in the area and drive by while the light is on, you might have to make a stop. The Apple Fritter looked pretty promising so I might have to scope that out pretty soon. read more

When we finally make it to the window, the cashier tell us she can not accept debit because the credit machine is down. I said don't you think you should inform the customers? Daphne was the only polite person in the shop. She was delightful, attentive and helpful. She even let me know that police and military members get a 50% discount on all purchases. That was a great savings. Daphne was the only bright spot during our visit. The store is in desperate need of a deep cleaning; both the customer area and the warehouse side. There were many tables that were full of trash - more than 50%. Surprisingly, there were more than a dozen workers in the shop, to include the manager. There was no justification for the eating area to be so bad off. The manager should be ashamed of the state of the store.
