The staff at this location were incredibly sweet. I ordered at the kiosk, and everything was ready within five minutes. Super quick and easy. For a donut shop with so many indulgent flavors, I was pleasantly surprised that the space didn't smell overwhelmingly sweet. I actually loved that sometimes that heavy sugary scent can be a bit much before you even take a bite. I ordered a cold brew with caramel and sweet cream, and it was perfect; not overly sweet, just smooth and balanced. Definitely gave me the boost I needed. Now let's talk about the donut. I warn you that it's hard not to eat them right away so if you're planning on bringing them to work or home, good luck on not digging in right away! Hundreds of rubber ducks lined the counter with a ducky gift shop near the front door. There is no shortage of the bright color pink which pops against the blue and white interior. While awaiting for my snack, the wife purchased a weight lifting duck for $2.50. After five minutes, my cinnamon pumpkin spice donut was presented in a Duck Donuts box. After a few pics with the donut, I began my manipulation of the donut noticing the sugary cinnamon texture that resembled a squishy sponge upon my thumb and forefinger grip. The butter and pumpkin spiced cream oozed out from the donut hole center upon the first bite which happily caused my blood sugar levels to spike, but sustained a constant smile. We ordered 6 donuts (all of the peanut varieties and a couple of chocolate ones). Texture like a croissant with icing that was hard. Overpriced and not good. The person inside was friendly but the inside of the shop did not appear to be clean and organized. It felt like it had been there so long it was an old place. Decided to stop in at Duck Donuts based on some recommendations. Located in a shopping strip this small donut shop has plenty of parking. But although it's small they have lots of flavor options and a really fun environment. They whole store is full of those rubber ducks which are all for sale. For a second I thought the owners must be Jeep enthusiasts. We went with of course the Maple bacon donut but also their Bacon in the Sun which was the Maple Bacon but with salted caramel drizzle added. We also ordered a glazed and my son got a Donut Sundae. The donuts were freshly made so they were super soft and hot. The donuts were more on the cakey side and although they were good they were overly sweet. Decided to stop here for a quick snack since we were in the area. Upon entering you can't help but notice all of the many rubber ducks on display. They have many different styles to look at and they are all for purchase. At the counter it was hard for me to choose which donuts I wanted to purchase because they have a lot to choose from. I decided on a glaze, chocolate, strawberry shortcake and a raspberry drizzle. While waiting on my order to arrive I was able to watch how they fried the donuts and put on the toppings through the plexiglass window. Once my order was done and boxes up I took them home to share with my husband. The donuts remained nice and warm and tasted fresh and crunchy from just coming out of the hot oil. I ate my second donut the next day, but unfortunately the crunchy texture was gone and the topping made the donut a bit soggy, but it was still good, but tasted much better when you eat them fresh out of the fryer. It can take a little longer than your normal donut shop experience but it's so worth it. These donuts melt in your mouth & usually leave you wishing you ordered more. They're so fresh that they'll fall apart if you don't let them cool off. If you're like me, you won't let them cool off. I also really liked the cold brew with sweet cream. I wasn't expecting too much as far as the coffee went, but I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. It had a strong body with very little acidity, pretty much everything you want in a cold brew. If you're into your coffee being sweet then I would say to opt for one of their blended drinks like a frappe or milkshake. But if you like your coffee on the stronger side then it's a great choice. Because these donuts are made to order! They're not sitting out like the other guys and you're getting minutes old HOT donuts! First, I have to say when you open the door, it can bring past memories of walking through Disney or being around the Best bakery it smells amazing. The counters are lined with adorable rubber ducks, and you can purchase them as well. So many options to choose from and you can create your own donut. They have donuts that are created every which way. We ordered a dozen donuts & you can watch the whole entire process of the creation created.! I think that is such a cool thing about these donut', they're not made somewhere else and brought into the storefront. These delicious donuts are actually made right in front of you. So yummy, blueberry pancake could possibly be my favorite, but peanut butter & jam comes as a runner-up. Not going to lie we did order 12 different donuts, all absolutely spectacular.
