Hurts Donuts has a wide variety of donuts and sweet treats. I was happy to see they also had some samples so I could try before I bought something. I liked a one and didn't like another. I ended up buying an apple fritter. It was gigantic. This sweet treat was fresh. It had a delicious flavor and I highly recommend it. The lady was very upbeat and pleasant. I was happy to see everything was spotless. I was a bit shocked they are open 24/7. I don't see that too often anymore. Saw this place in plantation while going to breakfast and decided to hit it on the way out. Everything here looks really good. The standout of the showcase was the Cookie Monster and it actually looks like Cookie Monster. The donuts here are very good but they must be eaten immediately. After quite some time waiting, Hurts donuts finally opened up not too long ago! Happy to see it finally here! I have visited this location quite a few times at this point and have been satisfied every time! They're open 24/7 so if you happen to have a late night donut craving, you're in luck. There's a vast selection to choose from and by the size of these donuts, it may take some time to get around to trying them all! My favorite one to order here is the Dirt Worm, so rich in chocolate and the crushed oreos topped with a gummy worm brings me back to making those dirt cup desserts as a kid! However, many other donuts here are just as delicious such as the Red Velvet one. You're bound to find one you love. The staff here are quick and friendly and get the line moving even when it's busy inside. Such a good variety of donuts. It's nice to have a spot open all day and night for a sweet treat. I have been a handful of times and they are always well stocked and making fresh donuts. They have coffee options as well, which is a perfect pairing. My favorites so far are the strusel, brownie, Boston (bavarian) cream and Jesus. All so different and so tasty. After patiently waiting for their doors to open, I was finally able to put my curiosities to rest & give them a try. I came by around 7pm on a Tuesday which sounds strange for a donut shop but this place is surprisingly open 24/7. I was greeted immediately by the staff as I took my place in line. Yes, a good handful of people were in a donut shop at 7pm on a Tuesday. I noticed that there wasn't much organization as far as the lines go. There weren't any sort of dividers/markings to stand in line so we were all standing around the display cases. Everyone was respectful & waited properly as employees called out "next" but it isn't an effective system that'll hold up during peak hours. This, however, is not so much a complaint as it is a genuine tip/pointer. Most importantly, the donuts are nothing short of delicious. Between the variety, flavor combinations & visual appeal of them it's tough to pick. I wasn't able to get my 1st choice, as they were sold out, so I went with my runner up- Dirt Worms; I also got a Bavarian Cream Filled. I was a little hesitant on what to expect when it came to the freshness but luckily I wasn't let down. These circles of deliciousness were soft, airy, moist & flavorful. As long as the donuts aren't over prepped & they continue to turn enough product I'm hoping this'll continue to be the case! If standards are upheld, I can see this place sticking around for the long run. I was also surprised at how much I enjoyed my iced latte. Some places try to hide behind added flavors rather than serve a good espresso so I'm glad that isn't the case here. Although a bit sweet, as expected, it had a bold flavor. It was delicious & strong, what else could you want? It hasn't been longer than a week & I'm already looking forward to my next visit. FANCY DONUTS... After a two year wait for this gourmet donut shop to open it is finally here. Hit this shop during it's grand opening week and was excited. Lets begin with the odd name for the business "Hurts Donut". Instantly I think of damaged donuts with a bandaid over the donut as the logo. Then the name in white affixed against a light beige exterior wall - horrible marketing scheme and hard to see from University Drive. Although, the outside wall depicting numerous colorful donuts alert passerbys inside Plantation Walk that this was strictly a donut shop. The inside was cutesy bubble gum theme. The flooring was hot pink and the multi color details were a nice touch. The bakers were behind the donut display counter in plain view of customers frosting and decorating fresh trays of donuts. The smell of baked dough is amazing. Trying to avoid the kids running around the store, I ordered an original huge glazed donut for $2.00 which I thought was a great deal. Most of the specialty donuts were cute in appearance, but not as large as the glazed. Loved the moist texture and sweet taste. A little messy so grab napkins. They offered a decent variety of donuts ranging up to $8.00. The type of donuts reminded me of Mojo Donuts in Pines but this place is open 24 hours. The bathroom was clean and actually an experience in itself. Someone really took their time decorating with space age meets farm meets donut theme (see pic). Definitely, this shop is kid friendly. For donut haters they also offer a few flavors of ice cream. Two small tables are on the outside front patio to eat your donuts and escape the noise inside. I, like soooo many others have been patiently (well maybe not so patiently) waiting for Hurts Donut to open at Plantation Walk in Plantation. They had all sorts of fun contests on their FB page leading up to their opening and it was a grand opening indeed! The place is super clean and the staff was really nice and helpful. The hardest thing here is deciding what donut or donuts to choose. They have many flavors such as blueberry streusel, s'mores, key lime, Cookie Monster, Flintstone, and Jesus (cinnamon, caramel and toasted marshmallows) and my favorite, Bavarian Crème. I got a Bavarian Crème and my husband got the Key Lime. We both really liked our donuts and the best part was that they weren't overly sweet. They are big so I only ate half and am looking forward to eating the order half tomorrow. It was well worth the wait and am so glad they finally opened! read more

So glad this place has finally opened and I'm so excited that it's as great as I was expecting! The place is decked out and even the bathroom for those of us that like to look in there! The alien art is out of this world! (pun intended) They have some awesome swing seats that are fun to sit on and good for posting online! Hurt Donut was clean and smelled good. The decor is absolutely amazing. Aside from the swings that you can actually sit on, the floor is pink with glitter, there are gummy bears, hanging from the ceiling, and you can see many beautiful donuts in the display case. I finally got a chance to swing by this donut place. It was rainy and early Sunday so not crowded, it's a cute colorful ambiance. They ample selection of donuts, we chose to try the boston cream & coconut cream. I told my husband only pick 2 to take home but honestly when he left me half of each I regretted it. Hurts Donut opened in the new Plantation Walk multi-use facility. There were lots of tables, so you can eat there. In addition to the pastries, they also serve beverages. The two of us each got our 6-pack order to go ($17.99 plus tax). And the server gave us each a free donut. The pastries are big, dense, and rich. I tried a little piece of the blueberry and a tiny piece of the red velvet. But I ate almost an entire Bavarian cream. I don't have time to add much more to this review, because I've got to go exercise and burn off those calories! read more

First off the atmosphere was awesome. I was so sad I don't have my kids with me when I visited because they would have loved this place. Very vibrant, colorful, inviting, kids would have a field day. The swings were a great touch as well. The four donuts I chose were tasty, my favorite was the classic old fashion, second in line was the Key Lime. Not too sweet at all which I wasn't expecting but I loved it. My kids however didn't really like the fruity pebble, or the sprinkle (maybe it just wasn't their day). We have been waiting for this shop to open and while I'm not a big fan of donuts, I had to stop in to try them. The shop is in a large space and colorfully decorated. They have a nice selection of donuts but to my dismay no chocolate at the time I was there. I tried a glazed blueberry and a maple bacon. The blueberry was very good and the maple bacon was an interesting combination. I enjoyed them both. The young woman behind the counter was very nice and explained what I was looking for. Parking in the area is plentiful and this shop would be a good place for dessert after eating in one of the restaurants on their street. Cute new donut shop located in Plantation Walk and it's open 24/7. A huge variety of large sized donuts and other yummies to choose from. Service was polite. What I didn't care for was the packaging. If you order less then half a dozen, they brown paper bag your donut without even a piece of parchment paper wrapped around the donut. Moreover, if you don't tell them, they stack them on top of each in one bag. I ordered three donuts and requested they bag them separately otherwise they would get smooshed together. The donut is very dense with a frosting on the outside, so delicious. The cinnamon roll was good, not cake like which was a surprise. HUGE too! We warmed it up. So yummy. We came around noon and there was one person working the counter and a line. This location just opened up recently and a lot of my friends have been taking about, so I decided to stop in Friday night. The shop is overwhelming as soon as you walk in. Lots of loud bright colors, blow up gummy bear balloons hanging from the ceiling, 2 areas of swings, that seem a little dangerous, even though they don't really swig. There's a wide variety of donuts, from many different shapes colors and flavors. Sadly though I was not a fan. I ordered a coconut cream along with the brownie donut. Personally they were both overly sweet and cake like. I understand that donuts are meant to be sweet, but for me this was overly sweet. I took 3 small bites of the coconut cream, and few of us shared small slivers of the brownie. I'm not sure that I'd be coming back here anytime soon, and if I do I may opt for one of the coffee drinks they also have on the menu, which prices for coffees and frappes are not too bad. read more

I think I've found my new favorite donut place. Not only is the interior adorable but the donuts are delicious. It's colorful and fun with a sparkly pink floor and giant gummy bears hanging from the ceiling. There are even three swings by the window. They have several cases filled with every donut imaginable. They also have drinks and ice cream available. I ended up getting a maple bacon long john and a key lime donut. They were both huge. Definitely large enough to share. The long John was loaded with smoky bacon. The key lime was filled with key lime jelly that gave it just the right amount of tanginess. It was the overall favorite. I kept driving past this place for what seemed like forever and they are finally open! 24 hour anything is impressive and the donuts stay in rotation. It was 9pm and the place was fully staffed as they were making fresh donuts and you can see them. They also have tons of coffee custom drink options and shakes. Well, joke's on me, because now I'm hooked on Hurt. The staff all hooped and hollered when I walked in, and if that doesn't happen every time I go in there, I am going to be severely disappointed. If you are looking for a "light snack" or a "sensible breakfast," please keep driving until you find a bowl of oatmeal. This place is for people who want to look a cardiologist in the eye and say, "Not today, Satan." I ordered the "Fred Flintstone" (which is topped with fruity Pebbles), salted caramel doughnut, 2 glazed doughnuts, Bavarian, and something fancy whose name eludes me. Those glazed donuts looked like they were stacked one on top of the other, but no, that was just one tall-ass glazed doughnut. I'm sure you're thinking that I'm a generous person who is stocking up to feed the office, but you're absolutely wrong. There were ZERO intentions of that. I did, however, share with some select cool peeps in the office, just not all of them because I just don't like all of them. The select people that I chose to bless with my donuts loved them and immediately had a sugar rush, followed by a sugar crash hours later. It was quite entertaining to watch. I mean, these donuts aren't just donuts; they are structural units. You could use four of these as spare tires for a Honda Civic, so imagine what they're doing to your metabolism. They are thick, fluffy, and roughly the weight of a newborn Chihuahua. Have been wanting to try this place since it opened (and all the time it took to open before) and finally made it by. Everything about this place is bright and colorful and sweet. When you walk in, the smell of sugar lures you in to the pretty colors of that donut varieties. They have them organized by cake donuts in one case and yeast donuts in another cases and then a third case with miscellaneous items (fritters bigger than my head, long johns, kolaches, etc). The young lady that helped us was patient and very thorough! We got a blueberry glaze cake donuts (which she said was one of their best sellers) which was so fresh, light/soft, not too sweet, and would be perfection with just a hint more blueberry. We also got the Chewbacca yeast donut which had coconut cream filling with chocolate frosting and toasted coconut. This was an interesting combo. Tasty and so fresh, we started at the wrong end so it took a little while to get to the filling. Prices are in line with most fancy donut places but maybe the donuts are not as extreme as some of the more fancy places. As we were leaving we got an amazing hit of coffee smell from them filling the hopper with fresh beans. If the coffee taste as good as it smelled, definitely worth a try.
