I love their Immune Booster smoothies for when I'm feeling under the weather. It gives me the nutrients I need that I can't get sometimes. Also, when I was vegan for about six months, I could still come here and find something to try out from their vegan options. It's bright, clean and their menu board also got a nice upgrade, it's easier to read and I believe they've added some items. Parking can get tight depending on day and time of day but you can always find a space even if you have to walk a little further. The service is friendly enough. Each time I come in they're are two different people working and each have been pleasant except for one. I arrived to this location at 7:30 to get 5 smoothies and the doors were locked. I got the employees attention and they said they were closed, but it says they close at 8. It was evident the employees had other plans and had no intentions of taking any more customer for the day. It really sucks because I was going to place a big order, but I hung out in the parking lot and noticed several people trying to go in and place orders as well but couldn't because these employees decided to close early. Can't beat $5 Friday's! Smoothie King has a variety of drinks which included dairy free (thank you!) options. Chose one of their many concoctions and add protein/extra fruits/etc or create your own masterpiece with a wide range of items to chose from. The store itself seemed older and in desperate need of a facelift. The 2 employees were friendly enough and made my drink in reasonable time. I love this Smoothie King location! They are always staffed by young and enthusiastic employees. I'm particularly fond of the $5 Friday deal! Smoothie King finally switched out of the styrofoam cups, which is great. As far as which smoothies I like.. if I am feeling decadent I go for the banana boat. My go-to is the Slim-N-Trim Strawberry. Ordered 2 smoothies online today. There was no available parking so I had my 10 year old walk in to pick up the smoothies. Upon returning to the car, he stated "The employees were complaining about Moms being too lazy to walk in the store and send their kids in. They also used curse words". My response was regardless, you should not be speaking about customers in a place of business. Since his name was Adam as well, I asked if there are 2 employees named Adam or if he was the Manager. He said yes, he is the manager. I am not one to complain, but I come from a guest service background and cannot believe I have been treated this way by the franchise owner. I have been a lover of smoothie king for many years and am sad to post this. I had plastic in my smoothie. I always get a medium gladiator with diet down (strawberry & banana). I called the location and spoke to the manager on duty, Camila. She was very sweet and said she would refund my smoothie. I alerted corporate through the smoothie king website so they can follow their protocols in regards to the safety of other guests. I was in no way trying to be malicious. It was unfortunate that there was plastic in my smoothie and I reported it in the hopes that they can resolve where the plastic came from and ensure no other patrons were harmed. I choked on this plastic and coughed up a large piece. It had smoothie residue all over it and I heard it as it came through the straw. A few of my employees previously worked at a smoothie king in Miami and tried helping us help the location figure out where the plastic came from. Corporate (Travis, head of franchises) was very accommodating and apologetic; however, this franchise location owner Millie was accusatory from the beginning. She left me a voicemail that was very rude and questioned my honesty. Then when I sent her the proof she asked for, she was rude and had a threatening tone. I've attached the pictures of our text message correspondence. Travis is sending my a gift card to try another location. I have been going to this location for YEARS. I remember when they first opened and have been such a supporter of this location; but after being treated this way I refuse to give them my business. This Smoothie King location is great! I would definitely call it my "regular smoothie place" since there really aren't very many around the Sunrise/Plantation area anymore. The shop is small but very clean and well organized. They have a ton of other food products and supplements for sale besides their smoothies. The staff members were really friendly and were knowledgable about the taste and flavors of the smoothie options, even the newer ones. We went just before lunchtime which was apparently the "after gym" rush on Saturday morning. They were a little backed up and it did take longer than I had expected to have a smoothie made but it wasn't terribly unreasonable. Smoothie recommends are the Mangosteen Madness and any of the Greek yogurt smoothies are really yummy. They use the plain Chobani Greek yogurt in them which gives the smoothies a little extra tang and protein! read more

I'm sure many people order online and don't realize it's not for the location that they originally had wanted so there has to be a way the store can simply cancel.... so I asked the young lady at the Pines location how do they go about cancelling online orders and she said her manager can just cancel the order. These are pretty average shakes. They are expensive and some have a chemical taste. I like that they have the calorie and protein content for you to follow. I had the strawberry protein shake and added peanut butter. It was the best one I have had yet. 2:50 P.M. 6/23/2020 When you walk in an establishment like smoothie king on nob hill what do you expect? Great customer service? WRONG. I walked into smoothie king and there were 4 latina female employees all wearing buns all with dark/curly hair (it's funny I thought women were supposed to be more polite/morally correct) all looked at me as I walked in. By the way, the store was empty, there was only 1 customer there ordering with her daughter. IT doesnt take 2 girls and 2 women to make 1 smoothie, so I highly expected someone to greet me. So I walk in and they just all stare at me...... "Hi welcome!" "Welcome to smoothie king!" is the proper way to greet someone walking into the establishment. As I continued walking down the aisle which made me feel like a runway model because they just look at you, the employees were still staring at me not saying hello. Mind you, I'm a 21-year-old gay latino male who is a visualist at Gap Factory sawgrass and I worked my way up to get there by excelling in customer service over the past year and knowing how to treat the customer to its top-tier. Once I reached the register all the way at the end, I say loudly "HELLO" "WELCOME TO SMOOTHIE KING" they all heard and ignored, one of the girls just stares at me and looks away and then I ask her "you're supposed to greet people when they walk in especially when your store is empty" no response (she wasn't even working she was just standing there lol). Long story short, the girl rings up my order and then 20 seconds later another girl went up to the register again and asked "are you ready to order"......... talk about being stoned on the job lol. If you're going to work in a fast-food restaurant especially when the customer has to walk down an isle passing 4 employees, you need to be welcoming and observant. Was in the area for my pup appointment and decided a smoothie was on the menu. Smoothie kings are very "chainy" so I figured why not try this one. I arrived to luckily in my favor no one waiting so I was able to check out the menu in peace. The the menu is quite odd given that it's on the wall when you walk in to your right, instead of over the smoothie preparation area. The staff was a pair of young maybe high school-year-olds, however they were very friendly and very knowledgeable to my surprise. I suggested a açai smoothie but it didn't have what I wanted in it so I went with a mango smoothie instead. I wanted to add strawberries to it however they recommended that it could be a bit bitter so they offered suggestions to make it balanced more with different fruits which was very helpful. Nice staff but RUDE OWNER, this location use to be home location, now I rather go to Coral Springs. She F----d Up on my Pineapple Spinach 3 times, when Prepping it the 4th time before she blended it, I asked her "is that mine because it has no carrots in it?" She took the little wet receipt and put in my face rudely told me it doesn't come with carrots! When I read the top of the receipt all this time the heifer manager was making a freaking "Mango Kale" I said to her " I didn't order a Mango Kale"? She didn't even apologize she started to mumble under her breath and made it over, it was still wrong when she placed it on the counter for me to pick it up, she didn't even say " I'm sorry about the misunderstanding/mixup how ever she wanted to put it... On top of all of that, she made it seem like I had no right to complain about what I freaking paid for, and purposely served every other person in the store as I camly sit down and watch them leave with their smoothie in hand. I WILL NEVER, EVER, EVER GO BACK TO THAT LOCATION AGAIN, and I will make sure to tell all my Bootcamp clients to do the same. THIS ISN'T THE PROFESSIONAL WAY OF CONDUCTING BUSINESS.
