Breakfast Alma Croissant Sandwich
Mercedes C.

The ambiance The place opened about a year ago and it is very nice. The place is clean and big. The tables are not stuck together and it is very pleasant. The place is quiet and people use it to sit and use their laptops. They spend several hours a day there. The food: The food, I ordered a prosciutto sandwich, they say it comes with potatoes, but they are just some potatoes reheated in the microwave, potatoes like the ones you see in the photo, the $17 for that sandwich is disrespectful! They charge you for the croissant as if it came with something and it comes just like that! And to top it off, when you order the soda, they give it to you in the little glass bottle that may be really nice but they charge you double the price of a can and it comes with a quarter. The place is Argentinian but it is not made for that. They don't have any Argentinian food, some cakes but nothing else. They don't have pastries or Argentinian food, it's more of an attempt to copy Pura Vida. The concept is good but the dishes leave something to be desired. They don't really have a kitchen and everything is improvised. The service: The staff is more interested in Instagram than in customer service, you have to order at the cash register, there is no table service and the girls have their hair too loose to be waitresses or to be in customer service in a restaurant. Has potential but must improve what he charges based on what he gives

It's a cute place! A lot of people bring in laptops to study and do computer work. You can order in person or do it on mobile which is nice. The coffee is good and hot lattes get served in a cute mug with the art on it. I got an almond croissant which had the really nice filling. It would be nice to serve it with a fork but you can get one yourself. Parking is really convenient. My only criticisms are that the door closes a little weird and the food is kind of expensive for what it is.

Cute cafe that I believe is fairly new. It's in the shopping plaza next to Paquito's Mexican Restaurant. The decor is very nice, cozy and clean. I love that you can order on an iPad at the front, makes it so easy. I got the classic breakfast platter with eggs, bacon, avocado, potatoes and toast ($15) it's a large portion so I can justify the price. Also was high quality ingredients. I also got a latte so my total came to about $23 for brunch. The eggs and potatoes were cooked perfectly, it was very delicious. I will definitely come back soon!

Met a friend here for leisurely Sunday afternoon hang, and it was overall a good spot for that. Nice ambiance, comfortable seating, easy parking, good coffee, a varied menu, and decent hours (esp for a Sunday). A few detractors, though: at least on this visit, the service wasn't great (and actually, my friend later reported she'd also had issues on a subsequent visit). I had difficulty communicating with the server (both in English and in Spanish), such that our order for drinks was mistaken and our later order for food took a bit longer than it should have to get right. Also, and I'm not sure if this is always the case, they didn't have half-and-half for my coffee (just whole milk and presumably other non-dairy options). Finally, the chicken poke bowl I ordered was just okay. Ingredient quality was decent, but everything was unseasoned and bland, meaning I had to lean on the dressing for flavor, and the dressing didn't really work for me. To be fair, I don't expect great poke from a coffee shop, so I would order differently next time... Overall, I'd say this place is a 3.5* for me, but I'll round up.

Nothing to write home about. Nothing special. Mediocre food. Too expensive for what it is. Not full service. Plastic utensils.

Whenever we are in South Florida for the week, this is always a must-stop for brunch. The ambience…read morehere is awesome; you walk up to a counter to place your order and then have the choice of sitting inside at the large communal table in the center, at one of the smaller perimeter tables, or outside at a very cool table built right around a massive banyan tree. It's the kind of place where you can just grab a book off the table and read while you eat, which makes for such a relaxing morning. The coffees are consistently excellent and the food is very tasty. For this visit, I had the Neverland iced coffee and the Golden Tater Tot meal, while my wife had the croissant with Nutella, banana, and strawberries along with the Passionate fruit drink. My sister-in-law opted for the Firehouse breakfast with a pistachio coffee, and everyone was thrilled with their choices. The service is always friendly and welcoming, which is why we keep coming back. I even ended up going back to the counter to grab a strawberry latte to go, and it was surprisingly good--the perfect way to end the meal. Whether you're looking for a great caffeine fix or a hearty breakfast, this spot hits the mark every time.

The turn in is a bit awkward, but there parking lot was pretty much empty at that time (and completely full by the time we left). I do not have a large car and the spots are super narrow. If you drive a truck, I would not try to park in the inner lot in front of the entrance. The place is clearly LGBT friendly; kudos for the pride flags out front. I immediately felt like I was walking into a hipster cafe in Cali. You order and pay inside; get a table number and the bring your food and drinks out to you. There's indoor and outdoor seating. I got the secret pita and golden latte. Service was relatively quick. Drink came then food shortly after. I totally wasn't thinking when I got the golden latte. It was a bit warm outside for a hot latte but I wanted to try something unique. Hard to describe but I enjoyed it. It came with granola on the dish. Not sure if you are supposed to throw it in. The squirrels and birds ended up eating mine. Yes, there was a lot of wildlife that was not shy. The squirrel was literally eating out of my hand and would have sat on our table if my friend allowed it. The bird flew in and did just that though. Came back for seconds a few times. Then as the place got busier, they must have gone off to bother others. As an animal lover, this was a fun perk but may be a turn off to some. The presentation for the pita was unexpected. I had to open a the box to get to my meal. You can choose how the egg is cooked. I went with the default sunny side up. The chorizo hit. Hummus was ok. Kind of bland. I didn't care for olives and picked the fruit off my dessert pita. Felt like I had enough pita carbs by the time I got to it. The ambiance was mostly peaceful. They do play music which was on the border of getting too loud. Coffee was pricy but all coffee is now. The food was also on the high end. This would be a major factor on whether to come back. I don't recall anything unique on the menu aside from the pita. The menu appears to change seasonally though.

I can't believe it took me this long to try it. The meat was cooked to perfection and the combo of the truffle sauce and crispy onions made for the perfect bite. As a side I tried the LBB taters which were sooooo interesting. Slighty spicy from the jalapenos and slighty sweet from the maple syrup. So good! Also shoutout to the staff! The burger had that classic local bar feel but slightly elevated, which makes it stand out without trying too hard. The price is on par with the quality you get, so you leave feeling like it was worth it. It is not over the top fancy, just a really solid burger done right. I would recommend it for quick lunches or casual hangouts when you want something satisfying and reliable. Definitely a spot I would go back to.

We came here for a mid-week Spice lunch and were not disappointed!…read more The Ritz feels like a beautiful cruise ship! We walked through the lobby to the restaurant, which is situated overlooking the Haulover inlet (far enough away from the nude beach so your meal is not ruined, LOL!). There is indoor and outdoor seating; both have great views. You can also sit at the bar. The vibe is upscale nautical. The server was great; friendly and just attentive enough! We opted to sit inside as the humidity level was near 100% and there were storm clouds brewing. If you opt to sit inside, bring a cover up as the AC is working very well here! During our meal, the usual afternoon storm arrived and provided a dramatic show, complete with theatrical lightning! We had the ceviche and watermelon feta salad to start. The ceviche was super fresh and beautifully tart. The watermelon on the salad was at peak ripeness! Next, we had the chipotle rubbed shrimp tacos - two tacos with two giant shrimp nestled inside alongside avocado. I did not partake of the cheeseburger, but Larry needed a nap when we got home, so I think it did it's job. The fries that came with it were excellent. I'm not a fan of flan - I dislike the texture - but the taste and presentation were beautiful. The sorbet was a surprising standout. They were out of blood orange, so I was offered mango or lime instead. I have a mango tree that fruits all summer and I am sick of mango at this point, so I opted for lime. It was unbelievably delicious! Tart, creamy even though it's dairy free, absolutely refreshing! In all, Artisan serves basic food executed very well in a beautiful setting with expert service. Well worth it!

Lovely staff all around attentive, warm, and professional. The ambiance inside was on the quieter side and felt a bit stale, with not many people around, but still pleasant. We chose to sit outside for the much nicer view, which definitely elevated the experience. We decided to try the Miami Spice menu, honestly, that's the main reason we picked this spot and it turned out to be a great deal. From appetizers to dessert, everything was enjoyable. While there wasn't a standout "wow" moment with the food, there were no disappointments either just a solid, satisfying lunch. Outside of the Miami Spice pricing, the regular menu does lean on the higher side, so for us, this special menu made it well worth it. Overall, it was a nice afternoon out with good food, great service, and a beautiful view.

The space is absolutely beautiful ~ roses everywhere, elegant decor, and very Instagrammable from the moment you walk in. One thing that stood out, however, was a very strong scent sprayed in the hallway upon entry. My friend, who is sensitive to strong smells, felt sick afterward. It didn't linger heavily at the table, but for anyone sensitive to fragrance, this could definitely be an issue. As for the food, our Eggs Benedict initially came out overcooked, but our server Jonathan A. handled it perfectly. He immediately took it back, asked the chef to remake it, and the second round was spot on. Great recovery and attentive service on his part. I ordered a hazelnut cappuccino, not realizing that cinnamon lettering would be added on top. I personally don't tolerate cinnamon, so I removed the foam and didn't say anything, but this might be something for management to consider ~ asking guests beforehand would be appreciated. Overall, the service was good, valet is offered upon arrival, and the ambiance is lovely. While it didn't completely blow my mind, it's still a beautiful spot with solid service. All things considered, I'd honestly give it 4 stars and would return, especially for the atmosphere.

We opted for over medium, smoked provolone and mushrooms. The pizza took a while to be ready and it was worth the wait! Deliciously crispy and smoky, enhanced by their real wood fired oven!
