I did a mobile order thinking it would be faster. Still took just as long if not longer to get it. I selected pick up through drive-through so when I got there I went to the drive-through and sat there for five minutes and nobody came on the intercom. I went inside tried to get it some guy from the back had to come up to the front because the girl upfront was so slow and not paying a bit of attention. They gave me my donuts forgot to give me my coffee that I had ordered. When they did get my coffee they gave me a small when I asked for a medium. But I was so over it that I just left. The store you have in Lubbock, Texas has gone down Hill significantly. I ordered donuts and brew boxes for an important function at our school. We arrived at 6:15am to a dark store and after beating on the door a worker came out to tell us the manager and donut cook never showed up. We have nothing for our event this morning. I am very unhappy with this situation. This is the 3rd time we have been to this store when no one has shown up to cook the donuts. Please make them get their act together. Went through the drive though and watched two people sit forever at speaker. I could tell by there actions it wasn't working and they pulled forward as did I. When I pulled up watched three cars behind me doing the same thing and instead of driving up all three cars drove off. Lost business and honestly the lady at the window didn't say sorry our mic is broke or our sign fell off... She then handed me my donuts after i ordered at window and then I watched another car drive off... They lost 4 customers including myself. Must have been the first day at work. Was told they don't make frozen drinks, took 25 minutes to get in and out. Repeated the order 4 times. Slowest doughnut shop ever. Only stopped because the kids wanted the famous doughnuts..... bathroom was clogged in one stall, no toilet paper in either stall or paper towels....... overrated. Just went to Krispy Kreme right before it closed, and the man who took our order said "sorry for the wait!" (We had only been waiting literally 1 second) He was so sweet and polite. I travel from NM to Lubbock maybe 3 times a year for shopping and dining. Krispy Kream is always a must have for the long ride back home . On this trip the donuts and service was the worst Please note this was mid-day . 1 - While trying select my 2 dozen donuts it seemed that most of my favorites were null and void , I was told that every one of my tasty delights they didn't have in a very tired mono tone . 2- by the time we got on the interstate we opened the box's and found them to be stale ! Experience this morning was awful. Just awful. Let me explain: I teach an early morning scripture class for high school students from 6:30 - 7:20. On Friday's I go out and get donuts for the students (and me). I try to go to to a different donut shop each time because the students like trying new places and seeing which is their favorite. This Krispy Kreme opens at 6 and I was at the drive-thru around 6:15. I thought I would be getting super fresh donuts since they just opened (like all the other donut shops I go to on Firday mornings). I ordered a dozen glazed and a dozen assorted. When I got to the church building and put the boxes on the table, I noticed a note was handwritten on the first box that read, "Sorry:) Or is it too late?". Confused, I opened the box only to find shriveled, stale donuts. I tried to eat one but realized halfway through the donut, "Why am I wasting calories on this piece of trash?" and tossed the remaining half into the garbage. A lot of the students did the same, and one of them even remarked, "Gross, there is a hair in mine!". Needless to say, I will never be back to this donut shop again. They should be ashamed of themselves for serving those donuts to a customer. By the way, my students favorite donut shops in Lubbock so far are "TT Donuts" and "Best Donut". The ONLY reason they are getting 2 stars is because the doughnuts are good. Went through the drive thru because I take my dog for rides and to get something for breakfast on wknds. The woman at the other end apparently couldn't hear me, and also couldn't understand me. I repeated my order at least 4 times. 2 sets of the 2 mini doughnuts. Plain glazed. She eventually repeated it back to me at the end- and I thought we're good. Arrive at the window and another woman asks, you had a half dozen? I said no, 4 total of the mini doughnuts. She nodded and then said ok so 4 glazed mini doughnuts, I said yes, and the small iced coffee. She said ok, closed the window, reappears and said your total is $4. I said with the iced coffee? She said, oh, you had a coffee. OMG. At this point I said forget the coffee, I don't want it. So paid for what I assumed was 4 PLAIN GLAZED MINI DOUGHNUTS. Got home, found 2 and 2 covered in chocolate and sprinkles. Lovely - not what I ordered at all. At least the plain glazed tasted good. So disappointed in this place. read more

This location is not up to par with other Krispy Kreme's. Staff is very rude and like to rush your decisions, so that they can get back to their gossip or whatever else is more important to them. Customer service is lacking to say the least, they are out of a lot of the seasonal doughnuts, the doughnuts they do have aren't very flavorful nor fresh. I used to enjoy dropping in and picking the kids up a dozen assorted for an after school treat every once in a while, but the last few times I ended up tossing them in the trash as the kids didn't like the taste (or lack thereof). I also refuse to give my money to anyone as rude as the staff here. There are many other shops in town who enjoy their customers and offer fresh and tasty doughnuts! read more

Went there on March 7, 2020 to get 3 dozen donuts. The front donut case was empty and the one waiting on us said they where out of glaze the lobby had 15 people waiting to order. Ask to speak to the manager he looked fresh out of prison dirty looking and tattooed all around his neck. Had a bad attitude and when asked why a donut establishment had no donuts he told us he had to fill a big order for a school and had no time to make donuts to sell. Obviously if you're at krispy kreme you're not looking for a healthy breakfast. I came here after dinner to cure sweet tooth. My favorite was their spin on a chocolate eclair. It was filled with creme and topped with chocolate. It's definately sweet but equally delicious! The employees here are super sweet as well! Personally, I eat donuts for dessert so I'm super impressed with their late hours. A lot of donut shops close early but they are open until 11! read more

This is what you call heaven. Soft and warm, the glazed donut from there is pretty much made to perfection. Since most of these Krispy Kreme donut locations have been closed down in AZ- having one while in Texas was a nice surprise. I tried a Maple one just to be different, pretty good but a tad too sweet for my liking. I used to think these were the best donuts money could buy. No longer- last three times I've purchased anything there the quality was terrible. My visits came over an 18 month period, each time long enough for me to forget the dry, somehow tasteless and overly sweet poor excuse for donuts I showed up with and puzzled looks on my friends' faces as their initial excitement was deflated like the round, donut-ish dozen I had just wasted my money on. Two staff members were standing 5 feet from the window and when we made eye contact with them they both disappeared. 5 minutes later a third staff member finally came to the window and took our order. Employees are rude! They are always annoyed with even the simplest orders. They always have signs up saying they are out of donuts when there are clearly donuts in the store. We had stopped by the store to find out when the fresh batch would be ready off the line and Drew (that was the name on the receipt. ..I pray it was his real name), along with another sweet lady working there, told us. When we returned at the given time frame, sure enough, the donuts were not only being made but Drew met us at the counter with fresh warm glazed donuts for each of us! Drew continued to help us pick out our dozen (along with some extras) and was EXCEPTIONALLY friendly. This is my first time coming to Krispy Kreme. My boyfriend and I arrived late and the female manager was very irritated with our presence. I felt very rushed and unwelcomed. The sign stated that they closed at 11 and we got here at 10:30. We bought a few doughnuts and left because of her. However, we attempted to come back again to see the doughnuts be made fresh and we were greeted by a much nicer manager who asked and realized we were from out of town. He told us when to come back for the "red light". When we got here for the third time the light wasn't on yet, but he kindly offered us a drink and asked if we needed anything. I'm not sure what happened here, but this has turned out to be horrible. Their scanner never works, the staff is rude and you're lucky to have more than a choice a few donuts. Several new donut shops have opened in Lubbock and are better run and more customer focused. I would pass on this one. read more
