I've read the good and bad reviews for this place and I can now confirm that I side with the unhappy people. My filled donuts were just barely filled. You'd think the would have a machine that measured the amount of filling each donut received but I guess they don't. And, if they fill them by hand, they should pump until the filling starts coming out. Of course the DEI employees don't care. It is so sad that the franchise owner doesn't care enough to make sure the Krispy Kreme name lives up to its promises. They should give up the franchise and let someone else take over. read more

Krispy Kreme in Lubbock has been going down hill for a while now. It's often hit or miss. Sometimes you get lucky and it is great, but just as often it is not. Today was definitely one of the NOT days. I picked up a dozen glazed and a dozen assorted to take to work. When I got to work, I was anticipating a fabulous melt in your mouth glazed donut. First the good: I'm thankful Lubbock HAS a Krispy Kreme, and - once you actually get/get to the donuts, they are very good. Also, the employees have always been friendly to me. However, you are "greeted" at the store with a crater sized hole that's been there for ~2 years. Once inside the store, the floor is sticky and can make a customer think "gross." I've attempted, several times, to use my app and have had no real success. The customers, up to management, simply seem not to know how to use it (works fine at other stores across the country). It's definitely a mixed bag type of experience at this Krispy Kreme. I hope the experience improves. Again, the donuts are good, but the experience-not so much. read more

So I went into the store with my kids and saw the "Hot Now" sign, so we stopped and got donuts. Everyone was super nice. However, when I felt the box, the donuts didn't feel warm. While we waited, I tried on a Krispy Kreme baseball hat and LINDA came out yelling, asking what was wrong with my donuts. She insisted that they were hot, but eventually, I got her to feel them and she gave me another dozen, which I would have paid for. No problem. Got cold donuts (like came out of the fridge) and old. The icing had crystallized. Took them back inside and told the really rude manager we had tried to eat the donuts and after some balking he did give us a refund however as we sat in the parking lot talking about the awful experience we watched the manager put the donuts back in the case. The ones we touched to see if they were all cold and attempted to eat two.... Now even if I wanted to try for a better night I will wonder if someone else had a bad experience and they put those donuts back too. read more

The employees are too busy smacking gum with their AirPods in or walking in from a smoke break to care ally all about you. Save yourself the trip.
