We arrived with 30 minutes to spare, and were greeted by Sarah and Jennifer (see photo). Both were welcoming and full of smiles despite having been open since the early morning. Knowing we would not be passing by Shipleys again anytime soon we ordered a sampling of donuts; including a Cinammon roll and a bear claw. Also having never tried a Caloche I opted for one with sausage only. Turns out it's a bit like a Pirogi. Not greasy and dough is basically a white flour bun. The donuts were cakey and not too sweet despite likely having been made a bit earlier that day. Should you wish to get your donuts on "The Go" there is also a drive through option.
