I think since it's opened I have had more cheesecake than I had previously had in my whole life! While it is quite a small shop in Bathgate, Artisan Cheesecake are slowly but surely building up a presence and beginning to stock local restuarants and cafes too. The shop in Bathgate has daily specials and even have a themed Tuesday (CHina Tuesday) where you can pop in and enjoy a slice and cuppa in a dainty china cup. The portion sizes are more than generous and the 'sharing cheesecakes' are genuinely in need of sharing (Unlike those 'sharing bags' of sweets you get these days!). They also offer cheesecake milkshakes where they blitz a slice of your choice into a milkshake but I am yet to venture into drinking my cheesecake (My waistline is already cursing my newfound taste for the solid ones!). The cheesecakes themselves are not cheap but you pay for what you get and these couldn't be futher removed from the foamy synthetic cheesecake you buy from supermakets or cheap cafes and the proof really is in the tasting.
