The only thing bad about this place is how far away from me it is! I LOVE Krispy Kreme. I've never had any issues with my orders here whether in person or delivery. Traffic can be heavy around this particular location depending on what time of day you go. I'm always greeted with a smile. This has got to be one of the saddest locations I've ever visited. Workers are slow and it wasn't even busy. These girls in here are about as dumb as they come. We went in to redeem a free half dozen of glaze and you got three girls that clearly don't have any idea of what they're doing. SAD VERY SAD . I've been doughnut deprived due to Coronavorus, so I decided to risk death and go get some sugar nuggets from the newest KK (That's Krispy Kreme, Ya'll). Location: parking lot is fairly big, and every spot was taken. Drive thru was backed up around the building. Decided I wanted to watch the doughnut parade since the Hot and Now light was on, and went inside. Very clean, interior. Rated a 4 Service: Dine in was not an option, but the counter area seemed organized and customers were flowing out quickly with boxes of good stuff. Employees seemed stressed due to the crowds and, likely, because they are fairly new. Still, the were doing well. Rated a 3.5 Food: My glazed doughnut was so fresh it deflated when I took a bite. I got a soft spot for two of these with a cup of bold coffee. Rated a 4 because I know they are not good for you, but are so damn good Overall, I rate this a 4. It did not let me customize the dozen I paid for so I called the customer service and was told to customize on the store. The woman on the cashier did not say anything and just passed me over to the manager. The manager is nice and told us what to do next time to prevent such issue. Donuts = amazing just as you have come to expect from Krispy Kreme. However, they are so disorganized it is really an insane process to get donuts sometimes. They have so many employees working hard, just bouncing around like ping pong balls and it makes the wait unbearable sometimes. I'm not one to leave a review usually bc i know times can be tough for everyone but this store is AWFUL. I was so excited when i found out there'd be a location close to home. At this point I'd rather keep driving out to west Ashley. Drive thru service is terrible, they are rude and think just because you're in a car they can get away with screwing up your order. I got an assorted dozen today and they gave me 2 of the donuts i asked for and did the rest however they wanted to do it. I've had multiple terrible experiences and today was just the icing on the cake when i went in to have them correct it and they told me that was what i asked for and they weren't going to change it. The Hot Now light has been on every time I have been here and the doughnuts are fresh and well prepared. It is well worth the wait if there is a line and well worth the visit inside to see how everything is made. I am happy that this Krispy Kreme location exists. read more

Customer service sucked. I went there to pick up a DoorDash delivery, I told the young lady at the counter that I was there to pick up an order and showed her the name on my phone, she looked at it didn't say anything and walked away towards the second register. Then she starts preparing boxes of donuts which I thought were for me but apparently not. I stood there for a little over 5 minutes as she helped other customers in line, then I approached her again and asked for the order, again she says nothing to me but grabs 2 boxes of donuts, rings up another customer and finally placed the boxes in a bag and hands it to me. And still she didn't say anything, not even "sorry for your wait, have a nice day". They are probably the slowest operating KK I've ever been to in my whole life. They literally have one maybe 2 person boxing donuts while ONE person taking money inside even though the line is out the door. They really should have a OG donut line when they have their hot now sign on because the one or two people who want to pick their assorted donuts holds EVERYONE else up. Take it from CFA, adapt to the needs of the majority of your customers to keep the line moving, because when the line moves it means you're serving more people, and when you serve more people you make more money, which means you can cover more overhead costs and perhaps hire one or two more staff members. I also understand why their line literally stops when the HOT NOW sign is on... it's because they only make a couple of dozens of donuts at a time and each time you hit the gap between batches... the line literally STOPS. Why? Because the HOT NOW sign is on and that's what we want, the HOT IG donuts. They should keep the batches going if they're going to keep the sign on instead putting a almost 30min pause in between batches. I've twice now stood in the same spot of my line for 30-42 minutes inside while waiting for the hot OG. That's all. The car line isn't any better either. They probably need to invest in a card swipe, have order takers outside, and have expediters to get people to their donuts quicker, and out of that line. read more

Karen at your service. I'll start by saying I am not a yelper or really leave reviews for anything. However, I felt this location needs an honest review. I was ecstatic to learn we were getting a Krispy Kreme close by as the one we usually go to(savannah highway) is unfortunately too far away and we only go there if we are in the area. Although, every time we visit this location, it's a nightmare. An easy one is the staff, they set the mood pretty easily and maintain it through the drive thru. It's just not pleasant. I'm not asking them to kiss my feet but christ, a "hello how may I take your order" would blow my mind at this point. I usually get nothing and then no interaction at the window. It's depressing lol. The common phrase I get when I order is "we're out of that".. I've gotten to know those series of words very well. The Kreme filled original glazed is a hot item and I get that, but how are you out of them before 11am? That's the case every time I go so that tells me it's normal and probably a daily occurrence. This leads me to my next question, how are they always out? You can't just take the countless original glazed and pump them with kreme? Is it a laziness problem? Is it a supply order problem? Like Ive tried to pick this apart and I just can't come up with a reason and I just want to know why they are always out of something they know will be a hot item. Not to mention, when I get my doughnuts, they're gross looking, shriveled up messes and they just look so unappetizing. But anyway, it's just ridiculous and the place isn't really busy(wonder why). They have their busy moments just like any food chain. The management team there really needs to reevaluate literally everything about that location, or move aside for someone who'd transform that location into a place where it'd be a joy to visit. I'm calling it now, they will be closed due to lack of business or something alike... much like what happened to Steak 'n' Shake at Tanger Outlets, who closed from poor management, terrible workers and always out of items, which translates to no business. I mean, that's the reason I stopped going there and is quickly becoming the reason I'm going to stop coming here. I know they don't care though haha. I guess I'll just have to make the drive to savannah highway location where it's literally the equivalent to being served by Chick-fil-A or Publix/Harris-Teeter. I want to start by saying I'm a healthcare worker! Today at our nursing facility we celebrated " National Doughnut Day". I called Krispy Kreme in advance to find the prices for todays special, I was told to call back when I decide on what I wanted to get! I was telling the lady that I knew what I wanted and she hung up on me. I called right back and said I need to place a order and the worker said we not doing any mobile orders! I had already promised the residents Krispy Kreme doughnuts so I went to the building, it was packed! I stood in line for about 45 min, then it was my turn. I said I need 4 doz glazed at the regular price and 4 for $2:00 each which is a total of 8 boxes, they all looked at me strange and I said I tried to order over the phone but was told, ONLY LARGE ORDERS OVER THE PHONE! There was no directory to inform me of what constituted a large order and the employee hung up on me before I could ask any questions. That was the second hang up. When I told the lady at the counter what happened she said 'no we not holding up the line for no 8 boxes'! I mean she was loud and rude to me in front of a store FULL of people. After waiting about 25 more min, here comes this young guy with a bag and 4 boxes of doughnuts, I'm thinking my other 4 boxes are on the way. It never happened! I went back to the counter and said where is the other half of my order, the same big mouth counter worker said, you have your 4 boxes, I said I ordered 8, I paid 97.00 and whatever the change was. Where is my order! Again big mouth said, they didn't get that and it will be a few more minutes, at this time no doughnuts were coming off the conveyer and the manager came over, I guess he was the manager and said 'what can I do to make this right! I said just give me what I ordered and paid for. If it wasn't for the promise that I've made to my patients, I would not have stepped foot in there. But I promised. I know bad attitudes exist, I work in healthcare, but when your on the frontline at Krispy Kreme you should at least act like you like your job. And if you don't have time to talk on the phone, DON'T ANSWER! I work in Hanahan, I passed Dunkin Donuts to drive to Krispy Kreme for the worst visit EVER!!! read more
