We are visiting Charleston and found this cute donut /coffee shop. It was quiet and quaint with very cute decor and vibes. We only got food but it was very tasty. The pizza pretzel was better than we expected and the apple pastry was a sweet dessert. The worker was very sweet, patient and talkative. We got several other good recs from her as well.

The cereal doughnut is so good! I visited towards the end of the day, so it wasn't as fresh as it could've been. Still very delicious. I also had a cinnamon bun latte which was pretty good. They also sell plants which was so fun for me, not so fun for my pockets haha The lady at the counter was nice and helpful!

Quick service, wonderful pretzel which was more like a savory roll, and cute coffee shop vibes!

The donuts are ok, but very dense. So wish I would not have gone with the 6-pack lol. But all in all they were good to share with the fam. My fav was the fruity pebbles donut. The cronut was not flaky it was more bready. The ambiance is very donut shoppey lol. The service was warm and welcoming.

Came here for a mid day coffee after shopping on King Street, the food & drinks here are so unique it makes it hard to decide what you want! We got the cinnamon bun cold brew, a s'mores donut & a cinnamon sugar donut. I need to come back for the pop tart, cosmic brownie & the lavender latte The environment of the store is super cool and trendy, great to snap a photo of!

Stopping by this place is always a treat. This shop combines two of my greatest loves -plants and all things sugar. To be honest, I am not the biggest fan of gourmet donuts. I am basic and prefer Krispy crème. But the donuts the produce look cool, they make a killer London fog tea, and they have a show room of plants you can browse as you wait for your order.

I really loved this shop. Everything from wall to wall is adorable. They not only sell donuts and coffee, but plants too. I saw they had apple cider donuts this weekend and HAD TO HAVE THEM so I stopped in. The girl working was super sweet and hyped up the apple cider donuts so I bought 4! Now, they are a pretty penny so I was really hoping these donuts were life changing. Got them home and immediately had to indulge and called for my husband to come check them out too! (As he's the one who really got my obsession for apple cider donuts going.) Well, we both bit in and didn't say much as we were waiting for that apple cider pop. Maybe the second bite. Well, that pop never came and frankly the inside of the donut was pretty dry. It's a decent cinnamon sugar donut..but not special enough for another go round for us.

Love this location! The employees are so sweet, the donuts are always fresh, and they make a mean latte! I love treating myself before work once a week, and they make it so worth it. The inside is adorable, with plenty of light coming in through the windows. I highly recommend!

Not a lot of seating, but a quiet and cute place to study. Lots of pastry, dessert, and drink options. Friendly staff :)

Absolutely delicious! I was worried the donut would be too sweet, but I found the cinnamon sugar donut to be perfectly balanced! They had tons of options and I loved the coffee drink I got as well. Customer service was great! There's only a handful of free parking spots outside though, so you can will probably have to pay to park in the garage next door.

Was alright, probably on me for not realizing they would be baked donuts, not fried. Small clean shop, hours are a bit weird.

    Ask the Community - BKeDSHoP

    Are all their doughnuts vegan?

    Yes

Is the lemon lavender donut filled with a flavored jelly or creme?

No, but that would sound really good!

Does anyone know how to find this truck without calling? I can't find the info on their website.

They now have a brick and mortar restaurant near Brittlebank Park and the Riverdogs stadium.

I wasn't aware they were James Beard nominated, but it makes sense because the line grew quickly! Despite the line, there were staff passing out samples and menus to help us decide. All staff were extremely kind and helpful! There were plenty of small tables outside to enjoy your order if it's not busy. We ordered the strawberry almond croissant, a strawberry cake that I'm still thinking about, pain au chocolat, and the mushroom focaccia. My husband said they won the best cup of coffee on the trip as well!

Staff had nice attitude, but food and service were mediocre, if not poor. The biggest problem was that at noon they were running out of lots of items on the menu: I first ordered focaccia, sold out. Then breakfast sandwich, sold out. Then Mulffaletta, sold out. Then breakfast plate; the sourdough in it was sold out. I ended up sharing the Mulffaletta with another customer (who offered to share it with me, thanks a lot!!). For Pastel de Nata, I ask them to heat it but they forgot to do so. Moreover, this $3.5 pastry was really really tiny, despite that it was delicious. I also ordered the butter bean salad, but it tasted cheap. In short, I do not recommend it if you want to get some interesting or good cafe food.

Almond frangipane scone- I'm not the biggest fan of dried fruit in baked goods, but otherwise thought this was tasty and would want to get a scone/biscuit without dried fruit next time. Would recommend. Cinnamon twist- Tasty! Not mind blowing, but we enjoyed and would get again. Best friend/chocolate chip cookie- Loved that it was crispy on the outside and chewy in the center part and that it used a darker chocolate. Jam sesh- This was not our favorite and we wouldn't get it again. We just didn't think all the flavors worked together. Short + Sweet- The coffee cake was maybe a little overbaked. The hostess took my phone number down and said she would text me to let me know when our table was ready. Since this location is in downtown Charleston, it was easy to wander around outside and keep ourselves entertained until I got the text that our table was about to be ready and we had 10 minutes to check in. Once I checked in, we were seated immediately and told to scan the QR code at the table to see the menu. A few minutes later, our server came by and asked if we wanted coffee or other drinks. After she came back with drinks, she took our order. I got the cornmeal pancakes. They are made of cornmeal so they had a different taste than what I was used to with pancakes. It wasn't a bad taste. They tasted like a combo of sweet, but also savory. They also felt very light so I didn't feel overstuffed after eating them. Because of how busy they are, they got us in and out in less than 40 minutes. There are signs at the table to not stay longer than 90 minutes, but this was no problem here. Just something to keep in mind to not hang around if you're done with your meal and you see a giant wait outside. As we were leaving, other people were being quoted about a 45+ minute wait. Since it's in downtown Charleston, there is no dedicated parking lot. However, there is street parking available nearby. As someone that cannot parallel park, I went the safe route and parked in a parking garage that was close by. I paid $4 for that. Overall, great breakfast place and quick service!
