The newer, improved Krispy Kreme Doughnuts location in Duluth, off Pleasant Hill and Old Norcross in the Microcenter plaza. I used to frequent the older, smaller location near Assi. This new location is bigger and roomier. It is very clean too, not that the old location was not but I've been here several times to pick up several dozens of doughnuts to bring to work. I usually buy a dozen glaze and a dozen mixed. Krispy Kreme doughnuts are just yummy. It taste extra yummy when it's warm. I love the airy crispiness of the texture and the moist yumminess inside. Huge fan of Krispy Kreme! Welcome addition to Gwinnett/Duluth. This location has all the lovely perks of Krispy Kreme including original glazed donuts, assorted flavor donuts, Espresso cafe, hot drinks, & Iced coffee drinks. I prefer Krispy Kreme to Dunkin Donuts generally speaking but think both are great. The hot chocolate here is excellent and the dozen donut deal for the Original Glazed is a little over $7. They have a convenient drive thru and the space is clean, colorful and poppin. Located in the same shopping plaza as Micro Center so parking is plentiful. Yay! I love the new location and I love the new set up. It's bigger and seems to be brighter than the previous location. There is more space inside if you should decide to eat your treats onsite. Also, you now have the option to eat outside on some cute little patio table sets. I absolutely love it. Each time in passing I look to see if the light is on. You know the one I'm talking about. Just in some far fetched out case that someone stumbles upon this review and does not know what light I am referring to let me explain. If you look over and see a bright red round sign that reads "hot doughnuts now" almost like a batman sign/bat signal but picture a doughnut signal, I suggest that you pull some type of Matrix move on Pleasant Hill and get in there and get yourself a dozen or maybe two. Those soft, warm and perfectly glazed pillows feel like heaven on your tongue. They almost melt in your mouth a little. Almost I say. Just thinking about them now is making me want some. Huge fan of this location. My family and I love coming here after dinner for a quick dessert, especially with the hot sign turned on. Andrea and her fellow staff are great! They really go above and beyond. There was one night where the power had went out intermittently, but the staff didn't panic. They gave us samples of the doughnut holes and iced coffee to wait out till the power came back on. Friendly customer service every time. The facility is clean and well-lit. Parking is spacious. I've celebrated "national coffee day" here two years in a row and they're the only ones in Georgia that celebrate it right. Both years I enjoyed amazing doughnuts with pretty great coffee. Krispy Kreme is a universal name so it does not feel that I have to add a lot of details about their great doughnuts, but everyone that works there has always been helpful and there's always been seating that is clean. It is in a great location close to so many other great Pleasant Hill places. I definitely recommend trying their simple glazed doughnut if you're feeling indecisive and it is fun to watch the doughnuts being freshly made from the viewing window. read more

This is the third time in about a year I've gone to this location. Every single time I've had an issue. The employees there don't know their menu. The first two times, they gave me the wrong food. This time, they have their new monster doughnuts on the menu - which all have fun names and should be very easy to understand. I repeated my order three times at the order box and another three or four times at the window because they just weren't understanding the words, Wolfie, Drake, and Frank. I barely had to wait at all, even though the fellow right before me ordered six dozen donuts! The employees were polite and the donuts were very fresh. The red "hot donuts" sign was on.
