We went to go check out the new Pokémon limited edition doughnuts and... it was disappointing honestly, especially as a blerd (Black nerd) myself . The Bulbasaur, Squrtile, Jigglypuff, and Pikachu one we picked were all STALE!! Like they were HARD. Really disgusting. Very disappointing. The only ones worth getting are the pokeball and pumpkin glazed doughnuts. That's it. We rarely come here and when we come back it's literally trash mostly. Yes, it's junk food anyway, but the point is why are we selling stale disgusting food?! Never going back for a mother long time... read more

This location allows you to watch the donuts get made from deep frying to being glazed. It also has a drive thru! I came here for a free doughnut I received an email about. She got my donut right from the belt line so it was soft and warm. I like how they changed the shape of their donut to be smaller and thinner, a good shape for a sweet treat. read more

They were extremely nice here. I believe they were filling a large order when we walked in and immediately were offered a hot, yummy, and fresh glazed doughnut for free. I think she felt bad we had to wait 2 or 3 additional minutes while they took care of the big order. Honestly, we were still trying to decide which yummy doughnuts to try. We ordered our doughnuts (some Harry Potter doughnuts and some glazed) and I ordered an iced pumpkin latte with oat milk (I know, I know I felt like a jerk ordering it while taking care of a big order) but it was so DELICIOUS!!!!! Everything there was A+ from the food freshness to the customer service to the clean location. read more

I've been a fan of Krispy Kreme since I was a kid, and no matter the location's condition, it's always a hit for me. I can't resist a nice donut, right? Now, let me share my recent experience. After a day of shopping, my friend and I craved something sweet, so I suggested Krispy Kreme. I ordered the classic blackberry crisp, spiced apple filled, and original glazed - two of them being new items for me due to the holiday season. The blackberry crisp was fantastic, with a rich flavor and a perfect balance of jelly filling and crispy oatmeal topping. I'll definitely grab it again next year, but note to self: ask them to warm it up for an even better experience. Now, onto the disappointment - the spiced apple filled donut. It was supposed to be an apple-filled delight with cinnamon on top, but sadly, there was no apple filling, and it lacked that apple taste. The cinnamon sugar was overwhelming, masking any potential apple flavor. However, if you're a coffee lover, it might still appeal to you as it surprisingly paired well with the missing apple flavor. Despite this hiccup, Krispy Kreme never fails to deliver overall. Whether you have kids or simply enjoy warm donuts, it's a must-try if you haven't already. With locations all around the USA, you're bound to stumble upon one at some point. Bonus tip: if you see the hot fresh sign on, they usually give out freshly made glazed donuts for free to customers. Very clean and fast in the drive way also. read more

Redeeming my free birthday donut but not having received the email for it yet, the employee was more than happy to oblige and provide the donut anyways after seeing my license. To the drive-through, they were really rude over the speaker and you stopped talking so I went to the window. I waited at the window like 510 minutes for everybody came in the window when they came to the window didn't know my order and then asked her where I wanted half a dozen glazed and then they look at me like I'm crazy and I walk away And 10 minutes goes by and they come back but I paid 12 something and handed a box and walked away read more

My first visit to this Duluth location of Krispy Kreme was during COVID (August 2020) and I've been here more than several times now due to convenience. I've also been in Duluth more and whenever I drive by and see the hot sign in... it's like a moth drawn to a flame for real. I've had hit or miss experiences - once in 2019, I ordered 3 donuts via drive thru (i wanted to try the new filled donut). We were already almost home and noticed I was charged for 4 donuts... when the box clearly only had 3. Most recently, I came to this location for the free glazed donut, thanks to my COVID vaccination! Show your vaccination card for a free glazed donut through the end of the year! I remember being pretty disappointed when my glazed donut tasted watery, as if they forgot to put sugar in the sugar. Very strange. Even so, the next time I stopped in, it tasted normal. So who knows... I stop into this location the most since I'm in the area most frequently. And you know anytime I see that hot sign on, I'm bound to stop whatever I'm doing for that glazed donut! read more

My go to when I want donuts. All I get is original glazed donuts while the hot sign is on. Maybe an occasional blueberry cake or sour cream when they're in stock. Drive thru goes pretty fast. I wasn't going to rate this Krispy Kreme (I mean, it's donuts, right?), but I noticed it has been getting some bad press, and I don't think the place deserves it. We visited this morning and it was easily one of the cleanest we've been in. The young lady behind the counter was friendly and all smiles, and chatted pleasantly with us while we waited for our fresh donuts to be made. Everyone working in the store was friendly and upbeat, and the donuts of course were worth going out of our way for. Krispy Kreme is still the best, and this store is one of its best examples. read more

This Krispy Kreme sits on the corner of Pleasant Hill Road and Old Norcross Road and features all the things, including those donuts of course, that you have come to love about Krispy Kreme! I have been to this spot twice with one being via the drive thru and the other via counter service. The inside features the famed "hot now" sign plus a massive clear case containing all those delicious donuts and this location has the view through to the kitchen area so you can see those little rings of tastiness moving around on the conveyer and preparing themselves for your belly! The drive thru is quite nice at Krispy Kreme these days, but I will say that they lines are always long...so I have found shorter wait time success by simply going in. My orders have never been much more than a dozen classic glazed with the addition of a single chocolate iced for myself...and each time they are exactly what was expected! Service was phenomenal via the drive thru for that visit, but was less stellar on my inside visit. The associate was dismissive and borderline rude in our dealing. It ended with donuts in hand, so I wasn't too pressed. Overall, this is a solid Krispy Kreme location that if and when I am in this area again, will certainly be a place on my "to stop by" list! read more

After waiting an hour in line for the free graduate dozen donuts today, my daughter had to leave for work, so I waited the rest of the time for her (another 30 minutes). I finally get to the front and they were only giving plain glazed. They said they ran out this morning of the graduate ones. I have no doubt they never even gave the grad ones out because they were too much work. Neither of us would have waited in that line for plain. The manager said she's been informing everyone they only had glazed, but in the whole time we were there, no one came out to say anything except once to say the line can't loop around in the store and they have to wait outside if necessary. The manager even told me I could get them because I wasn't the graduate (I was honest, but had all of my daughters things to prove I had a graduate unlike kids just coming in shirts and caps that could've been anyones) They could have had a sign in the door, but they certainly didn't have to be so rude. Needless to say, I didn't take the plain and she went to another location after work (that did serve grad dozen). I'm not knocking people working, and they were obviously busy, but give people the chance to decide if it's worth their time! read more

Being the only Krispy Kreme in the area I don't understand how it has survived. Before walking in this lady comes out screaming at herself and beating herself in the head. Not a good sign but I needed donuts. Anyway I order a dozen and hand the lady my card and she stares at me and then stares at the register. Then she looks over at another employee. I ask "is something wrong?" And she tells me she can't use the register. She yells for the other employee and he looks over at us and completely ignores her. So she had to ring me up through the drive thru. The donuts were good. But it's not worth any of the hassle. read more

I DONUT care about anything else when that "hot now" sign is on. I love this Duluth location! Quite an upgrade from their old space on the other side of the 85 bridge on Pleasanthill. Easier access, too. Plenty of parking available. I could sit there and watch the machine make those donuts all day through that big glass wall. The shop has several tables and plenty of seating if you decide to that. I once stood in line for over 30 minutes, maybe even an hour during a promotional day just to get my hands on those sweet, melt-in-your-mouth goodness they call doughnuts. It's truly mesmerizing to watch. I didn't even realize I was standing in line for that long. They feel and taste so light you don't realize you've eaten half a dozen. Another fun fact - I was once dared to eat a dozen glazed donuts in under an hour. I won $25 that day! This location usually has the new, seasonal flavors. If you ever want to try a new flavor, come to this location! They have a great selection of flavors and their "hot now" sign is more often on than off. If not, just microwave those suckers for 8 seconds and it's like they just came straight off the fryer. Instructions are on the box. At my most recent visit, the staff was extra, extra sweet like their treats. Greeted me upon entering and was super helpful during my quick visit. Even made small talk. I ordered a half dozen: 3 glazed, 1 chocolate glazed, and 2 Hershey Gold donuts. Saw an ad on Facebook for the Hershey Gold donuts. I am a sucker for anything caramel and could not resist the urge, so I drove to the closest location after work which happened to be my most favorite KK location to date. So worth the 85 traffic. Next time they come out with a new flavor, you best believe I will be back to this location! read more

Glazed lemon filled, cake batter, strawberry glazed sprinkles, chocolate iced custard filled, butterfinger fudge cake, butterfinger filled donut, chocolate Kreme filled, original creme filled, glazed raspberry filled, chocolate iced glazed, and 2 hot original glazed. Came into this location last Friday. Upon entering, I noticed it was very VERY clean on the inside. There were 4 people working, 2 young ladies and 2 young men. The line was little lengthy but it's cool, it was St. Patrick's Day and everyone wanted their green donuts lol. The young lady who helped me and my friends was about 5'3" and brown skinned. She needs more customer service training tbh. She wasn't friendly, didn't greet us when it was our turn, she just stared at us. I spoke, I said "hello how are you..." I'm Bakery Manager, I work in retail, so it's extremely important you greet your customers with a warm smile and actually TALK with them. She just stared at us. Young lady, if youre having a bad day, you can always go home. Your customers dont need your attitude..... Now the young man who checked us out, he seemed very young despite his height. He was light skinned and about 6'. He was very friendly and spoke to us . We probably won't be back to that location but Krispy Kreme is my fave donut place read more

I love this Krispy location because it has more space inside for seating. I love the delicious donuts. The donuts are always so fresh. I usually get donuts when the light is on because I like my donuts warm. I love the original glazed donuts the most. I usually get a variety of flavors for my family. It is so much easier to look at the different donut flavors with the display being in front of you. Some donut places makes you look over their counter to pick your donuts. Here it is so much easier to pick donuts with the new set up. I have to admit that I have tried other locations but this one is the best. As far as staff members and donut quality, I have to give them a 10 which is the best. read more

I agree with Chris Rock when he once said that Krispy Kreme should change their name to Kracky Kreme because all I could think about on my flight back to the states was getting a Krispy Kreme donut. In the middle of the night I drove across town to the one location that carries apple fritters. These are really good especially after 8 seconds in the microwave. I was happy they moved from the old location closer to Club drive. This area feels safer. The staff here is very friendly and they pretty much carry all the donut varieties. My choices are simple, the original glazed, raspberry filled and Apple fritters. That's all I need and I'm good. Been coming here for years and stacked up tons of rewards at this location. It's been a while due to COVID, and was excited to treat the kids with their old favorite. Oh well, all good things must come to an end in 2020. Never had bad service until today. And it was beyond bad. Odd considering I was the only guest. It started with waiting for one of the many employees to serve me. They were all to busy with busy-work. Then two donuts into the young man filling my order, employee running the drive through whispers in his ear, he puts by box down and proceeds to fill a dozen off the line for the drive through. When he did complete my order, he placed my boxes at the register and walked off. At least four other employees watched me stand there not getting checked out, until one of the came and released me. Guess this is the new normal for KK 7/25 7:47am read more

I gave 2 stars because the woman who served us was so nice, really cheerful. Otherwise it would have been 1 star for sure. Today was a holiday so my husband and i went out for a treat. Havent been to kk for ages so was really looking forward to it. My choice was a raspberry jelly filled and a choc iced kreme filled. Husband got a choc iced custard filled and one of the new biscoff filled ones. All 4 donuts had nearly NO filling. Absolutely less than a teaspoon of filling in each of the 4 donuts. 1 or 2 and you would think they are having trouble with those fillers but all of them? Nope, they are short filling them. Ive gotten kk donuts from a gas station near our FL home and they have the regular decent amount of filling. Its this store that seems to be saving money by cutting down on the filling. End of the world? No but if you are going to treat yourself to a kk donut, dont stop in at this store! read more

Gonna fight on this one, but I'm not really a Krispy Kreme fan. I know people have their favs, and I can't say they are bad, cuz they aren't, but I have had better. My boyfriend rarely eats sweets. Literally he had dessert once with me at a restaurant for all the times we have eaten out. He has amazing self control. It's maddening! LOL So one of his favorites is a chocolate frosted doughnut, and I keep telling him we are going to eat some doughnuts together one day, thinking that day was probably "cold day in Hell" if it's up to him when lo and behold, we go to dinner and he asks if I want to get dessert, and suggests Krispy Kreme. Not my fav, but how can I be a naysayer at this point when he literally is the one to suggest it? So, hell yeah, I told him for sure we are getting doughnuts, and he knows of a Krispy Kreme right up the road from where we were (even better that it's close so he can't change his mind). We drove up there, and the light was on. So anyone who knows Krispy Kreme knows the light means that they just made some fresh and presumably hot doughnuts. Got in line at the drive through, which was super slow for whatever reason. We got a half dozen, two Boston creams, and 4 chocolate frosted. I was ready to tear into them, and we ate one in the car, but they were not hot, not even warm. We hypothesized this might be because of the chocolate frosting, however we will still disappointed. We waited til we got home to eat the rest, so we could nuke them. He devoured them, and I ate mine too, but I was less enthused. Definitely warm made them better, but I think their doughnuts are just okay. Not sure if I got a bad batch (didn't taste overly fresh), or if Boston cream just isn't their forte, but I was somewhat disappointed. However, I am glad they exist for the simple fact that my boyfriend had doughnuts with me! That in itself was special. read more

There is always new types of specialty donuts coming out so keep your eyes out for new flavors!! Parking is a bit small. The lobby is only open for pick up Orders due to the Coronavirus.
