I wish I could give more stars for this review. What polite and kind staff, they have working in the drive thru. It really brightened my day for just how nice they were being. I got a dozen original glazed, that they made fresh for me without having to ask and I also put together an assorted dozen. When I got to the window two of the donuts that I had ordered they didn't have any more left. It really wasn't an issue for me, but they only ended up charging me for the one box of originals due to the inconvenience. I feel like that is going above and beyond in customer service, making me the customer, feel like I actually mattered. When situations like this happen I always think it's so awesome when the employees decide to handle it in this fashion. Thank you Krispy Kreme for making my day a bit brighter! I drive a little out of the way about once a month to this location because consistently the doughnuts are fresh and filled BEAUTIFULLY! I am in love with the cake batter first and foremost, but I love trying all the new varieties when they show up... Regulars: -cake batter is a yeast doughnut with yellow sugary glazed with sprinkle topping and thick cake batter flavored filling...its extraordinary and I can eat 1/2 a dozen in one sitting. It's so addictive. I love it and will always order them upon each visit! -glazed yeast doughnut with strawberry sprinkles glaze topping is always an amazing choice - one of my favorites because it's SO SWEET! -blueberry old fashioned is sweet and simply but a classically good choice. -glazed yeast doughnut with maple glaze topping is decadent and worth writing home about! One of my favorites of all time... Limited editions: -The nabisco chips ahoy cookie doughnut was pretty good, but the filling made it worthwhile. -The nutter butter was ok...the salty sweet topping was the only worthwhile part of the doughnut. If the doughnut had nutter butter filling would've made it extraordinary. -Oreo filled: a yeast donut with Oreo topping and Oreo flavored filling...never have had one that was noteworthy. Mediocre at best and won't be rebuying after trying it twice. -Hershey's gold topped yeast donut...was ok--not flavorful enough to make the distinction between sweet & salty. I placed an online order to be ready at 5:45 am. Showed up a little after 5:30, and the place was dark. Sign on the door said they opened at 5:30. There was no sign of any employees. As I was on the phone with customer service, I finally saw a couple of employees milling around. I tapped on the door a few times and finally got the attention of someone (now 5:45). Gosh! I haven't been to Krispy Kreme in yearsss! Today was free coffee and donut day so we stopped for a special treat! There were three of us in the car, we got 3 iced vanilla coffees and 3 original donuts. One of the vanilla iced coffees we got was a no cream no sugar. It is highly not recommended. Got the opening shift for work so I thought I'd swing by and grab a box of donuts at Krispy Kreme for everyone to share. I ordered a dozen glazed and a frozen mocha and pulled up to the window. The cashier had some issues with the app and using the points. Also total side note: The KK app is whak! Typically you can't open it up to redeem your rewards and even their staff have trouble with good advice to give to help that process. So this was a roll of the dice gone amazing for me...mostly. I was able to not only open the app, but actually redeem the points for a free dozen hallelujah! I only had to pay for the mocha which was made with love and aesthetically pleasing btw. However the donuts...the donuts...insert shaking fist in the air!!! On the ride back I could hear the donuts sliding around in the box. Which made me think maybe we were a few donuts short of a dozen. I got to work, got settled and opened the box. The donuts were burnt, warped and slightly baptized/sprinkled with icing. So I basically had these cardboard circle things, blooped inside more cardboard. They were not made with love and even tho they were mostly free, and even after I got the app to finally work, it was the hugest disappointment. Also recognizing this is a first world problem, and being hugely disappointed, is on the scale of brush it off your shoulder. Still!!! Why can't we just get what people advertise and why can't people just do things with love? So I just went to Krispy Kreme and ordered a half dozen donuts. Not only was the Bavarian cream donut not full of any cream but they were old and hard and tasted like old oil. When I called the store to tell them that my donuts must have been old and that they were gross and had no filling ... she asked me to just bring back the donuts with no filling and she would exchange them .
