To start off with, the location and interior are brilliant. It gives that small town vibe yet with an air of history. The service is polite and fast with the order out in an amazing time for how good the food is. I got the feta burger, mesquite turkey melt specialty, and a mixed chicken and lamb gyro. The feta burger is perfectly proportioned for your good southern eater with a nice side of well cut and seasoned potato fries.And the turkey melt was to die for. it was juicy and the tzatziki sauce gave it that perfect greek bite. The lamb and chicken gyro was also well proportioned, however the chicken was a bit dry so i would suggest getting the specialty version to counteract it with some extra sauce. all of this is not even saying anything about the amazingly low prices. I got more food here for a lower price than I think I have from anywhere near this city. read more

Last week, I was visiting Ridgeland for work and was craving Greek food. I googled places near me and decided to give this place a try. This was hands down the best decision ever. I walked in and was immediately greeted and asked if I needed any help. I mentioned this was my first time here and I had no idea what to order. Mason, the sweet gentleman who was working the register, explained the menu to me in full detail. He did not skip a beat and was super helpful and so sweet. He even checked on me during my meal and asked how everything was. You do not see much of that in this world anymore. I decided to go with the mixed authentic gyro and french fry combo. The pita was super fresh and the lamb and chicken were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Do not even get me started on those fries! They were divine. Next time I come to Ridgeland, this will be my first stop. I am so happy I came across this place and cant wait to be back. read more

This is one of the 4 places on our before church Wednesday rotation. I think they have the freshest salads in town. Get the 550, 550 calorie grilled chicken Greek salad is very flavorful. Gyros are also good but not quite like Kiefers if that's your favorite. Hamburgers are also good and plenty big. Staff is friendly. read more

I had the Krilakis Gyro which was lamb with feta. It was the best Gyro I have ever had! So moist and delicious, the thinly cut slices of meat and bits of onion made it pop with flavor. The cool as a cucumber sauce along with evenly distributed feta balanced it all out with a nice creamy element. All this atop a warm toasty flatbread made for the perfect bite. I have only ever had a Gyro from Kiefer's and the state fair during October; let me say, this one was miles ahead of both. Kiefer's Gyro is boring and bland with chunks of dry meat that has no real discernible taste save the glob of tzatziki sauce on top of the wad of undressed lettuce and raw onion slices. I had fries and drink with the meal which made for a nice and affordable dinner. The fries were rather heavy with grease but were seasoned lightly; I really didn't care for them as they just got in the way of the yummy Gyro. The interior is nothing really special, but it was clean and somewhat inviting with a friendly staff. I will definitely be going back the next time I am in the mood for Greek. I only give 4 stars because of the fries being unappealing. read more

I found Krilakis after a google search for Greek salad in Ridgeland. It's less than a mile from my office so I decided to give it a try. I'm certainly glad I did. One of my teenage jobs was behind the grill at a local Greek place, so I think I'm a fair judge. The gyro, man, the gyro! It's among the best I've had. This is one of my go to places! We love it. I always get the shrimp salad. It's not as cheap as the gyros, but it's delicious. My boyfriend gets the lamb gyro and it's really good too. Kiefer's used to be our favorite, but Krilaki's is closer to home and puts up some good competition. Definitely recommend! read more

First time going! The service was very nice and the food absolutely amazing. It's setup like a sandwich shop somewhat, so you go to the counter and order and then receive a table number for the server to find you. There's a bunch of high-top tables and 4-top tables, along with a bar counter (just for eating). I tried the mozzarella burger, since they freshly pack the meat to order. Absolutely amazing. The sour dough bun perfectly complimented the cheese and meat and their special "yogurt" sauce. My friend tried the lamb gyro, and it had me wishing I had gotten that but not wanting to give up my burger. The meat was so tender and marinated. The only downfall to it was the price. Overall, for a burger, SD of fries (which do not come with the burger for some odd reason), and a water, it was just at $13. A little pricey for a burger and fries, but absolutely worth it for the quality I guess. Will be going back, that's for sure. read more

This is probably the best Greek food I have ever tasted. The gyros are HUGE, and the hummus is fantastic. I like the laid-back, homey feeling that they provide in the restaurant. Do yourself a favor and GO! BEST Greek place, by far, I've ever been to. SO. GOOD. Fresh, soft pita bread. Rich, flavorful, perfect hummus. Mozzarella and feta pita? Perfection again. One of my favorite restaurants in Jackson(okay, Ridgeland, but I'll forgive them). The menu has great choices, but I always get the krilakis gyro. It's superb and unlike other restaurants isn't just a cloan of kiefers. The French fries are great too. AND best of all you can bring your own wine. Only complaint is they use Styrofoam cups and plates for their salads (more of an issue on the salads, but real plates and cups are always much nicer to eat and drink from). It's always clean and the service is usually pretty quick even for a casual restaurant like this. read more

My first trip here was great with a fresh greek salad. My second was horrible. I called ahead for a gyro combo and was told it would be ready in 10 mins. I arrived 10 mins later and waited 15 more for my food. Every time the kitchen door opened the "cooks" were just sitting around talking and joking. The girl who finally helped me was really rude and short. The actual food was bad. The gyro meat was super soft and soggy. I love gyros but couldn't even finish mine due to the texture.
