    #5. Full Catch Combo
    Ploy N.

Got to try their food at the Hawthrone Asylum spot (which might be new?) and it's average to decent. The freshness of the seafood was great and the portion of the #5 was also good for two people. However, the flavors didn't come through. Relatively bland compared to other spots that I've been to even when I got the "Ragin Cajun" butter sauce. But, I really gotta give it to the man working the truck late Friday night. What a trooper feeding all the late night goers. Please go give them some love.

To find a crab boil place after trying it back East was H-E-A-V-E-N!!! To say I had a happy man on my hands would be an understatement. He tried the 2 cluster with the garlic and herb drip. The cluster comes with 2 nice sized crab clusters along with potatoes, corn, andouille sausage and a hard boiled egg. According to him everything was spectacular except the egg - seemed over cooked. But he wants to go back now and get some more. The 2 cluster was only $25 and he loved every second of it. They have bundles with more options and tons of sauce/drop options. Highly recommend if you love crab. Well worth it

My wife's choice for the evening adventure! An order of the crab legs may be $26, but...wow, what an incredible serving, AND incredible service! She was (apologetically) quoted 20-25 minutes due to a backlog of orders, but it came out faster than the kids' Philly cheesesteak from a nearby cart. And the food? Fan-freaking-tastic! We'd struggled to find a crab restaurant all night that wasn't already packed, or take out only, before finding our way to the food cart pod in Happy Valley, and now...I can't see us going anywhere else. There's nothing Kracked about this place, but you would be Kracked to avoid it! Five stars as boundless as the depths of the ocean!

Very good. Everything was fresh and super flavorful. I especially appreciated the gloves which made this crazy messy lunch easier to eat. The potatoes soaked in that buttery garlic-parm are insanely good. I asked for no sausage or egg, but note it does come with those. I asked if I could sub those as I don't eat meat and was told yes but was charged for the cob they swapped them with. So technically you can make "substitutions" but you'll pay the price of the side you're subbing & be out the price you paid for the sausage & egg that comes with. Crab boil is a spendy treat of course, but you're getting a really good meal & it's really not terrible for what you get when you're comparing the always high food cart prices at all the options available.

    They forgot the crab.

OK -- I LOVE this place. I love this place so much, I drive 45m to eat there often. My ONLY problem, is not the delicious food which has been blessed by baby Jesus himself, but that on more than 4 occasions they have forgotten to add the crab!!!! This usually happens when I ask for extra shrimp, and each time they've made it right by providing me with a replacement at a later date, but it's SOOOOO disappointing to be craving this edible gold to be disappointed by the best ingredient missing on a $60 meal once we've reached home. I will STILL give it 4 stars, because the food is that good. I love you, Kracked Crab, and I always will...but stop forgetting my crab!

#5 with Garlic Parmesan. So tasty and delicious

Saw this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. My fiancé is obsessed with seafood boils so we are always down to try different seafood boil restaurants/carts. We ordered the #5 combo with garlic parm seasoning. The combo came with 2 clusters and 12 shrimps. Each combo includes potatoes, 1 hard boiled egg and 1 sausage link. This combo was the perfect amount of food for two people. The food was delicious and super flavorful and I'm glad we went with the garlic parm seasoning. I will be back to try the other flavors and combos!

Kracked Crab is such a good option if you're craving seafood boil. I'll be honest and say that I haven't tried any other places in the area but this hit the spot. I would really only come back for their crab though. Great flavor and the crab tastes fresh. My friend had ordered platters of their boil which included: crab, shrimp, lobster, potatoes, corn, and sausage. The shrimp were okay - they're peeled so that's nice but I always feel like the head on/skin on is always part of the whole experience. The potatoes were a little disappointing though because they were undercooked but there was SO many that we ended up repurposing it for other meals the following days lol. Sausages are included whole and not cut up so I was caught off guard by that. The food cart is located in one of my favorite food pods in Happy Valley. So many great options to choose from with both indoor and outdoor seating available. The food pod has its own spacious parking lot and street parking is available as well.

They sure took full payment for an incomplete order.

I was excited to see a boil cart at this food cart pod. Well this was the only place with no line. And now I know why. Ordered the #7. Whole Pot: 2 clusters, 16 shrimp, 1 lobster tail, 2 corn, 2 eggs, and 2 sausage. Also ordered a side of lobster tail. Placed my order and went to walk around while my food was done. Picked up and we went home so we could eat in the comfort of our home. Super excited, I opened the bag and snapped a pic to send to friends (we always send each other food pics). Upon opening the smaller container, I was greeted to a side of shrimp. Cool. Not what I ordered but I get it. Mistakes get made. But then as I look for the tail that should of been included with the #7, there was no tail. Actually then I noticed that I was missing the second sausage, corn, and egg. Okay... this isn't right. I just spend 74 bucks and got about half my order. And a side I paid full price for but got something completely different. At this point, I figured it could be good so maybe there would at lease be that.... When I got my food. The guy said there was a lot of butter so be careful. So much, I think they only used butter. I did order garlic parmesan drip but that was also missing. Food was bland. I mean it was just butter. Now at this point, you would think it couldn't get worse. Right? The bigger potato bits were undercooked. Great. Just great. Nothing about any of this was good... with the expecting of the crab tool they sell for $1. Do not recommend this place at all. In fact. Just go to bed hungry. Save yourself the time and hassle.

I bit the sausage before taking the picture! :( I love a good seafood boil, but don't like seafood. Makes sense right? I'll get trimmings of a boil all day long. The Kracked Crab made me miss being home down south. Finding andouille sausage in OR is a needle in a hay stack. The gentleman working the stand was so nice and was happy to accommodate me wanting some boil seasoning on my plate. The andouille sausage was good and cooked well! The potatoes were next level. Perfectly cooked and the corn as well. I'd definitely come back and try another one of the 500 (exaggerating lol) butter options they have!

So Friggin delicious!! The whole Spot was poppin! The different truck vendors had good options my fat ass would've hit like 5 of them if I had a little extra time. But the road was calling so I went with the safe bet 2 pints of wolfs milk and kracked crab. One word FIRE ran out of utensils to split them Legs open pun intended lol nevertheless I got in there lmao ok I'm done but yeah everything smacked. Ight peace

I was so excited to try this place and was not disappointed! This is an amazing food cart in the Happy Valley Station pod. You don't often see a food cart that serves seafood boils. Here's how it works: They have several different protein combos with crab, lobster, shrimp, andouille sausage, and more! Choose your combo and then choose your flavor. I got the honey garlic and it was delicious. You can order side items if you don't want the full boil, such as a crab cluster or lobster tail. If you get the full boil, it comes with potatoes, corn on the cob, an egg, and andouille sausage. They do give you a little plastic tool to help with the crab but honestly it was pretty useless. I went rogue on this thing and cracked it all open with my hands. There was a lot of butter and seasoning, I saw a couple of reviews that complained about this, but frankly, I can never have too much butter. Obviously pricier than your average food cart since they are serving crab, but not overpriced and worth it!

This was the BEST crab I've ever had! The food and flavors were amazing! My only complaint is they didn't have anything to crack the crab legs with so it was hard to eat but still totally worth it for how amazing it tasted! Highly recommend!!

Happy Valley Food Carts yeah, I might be a little biased... I live here. And to the three of you…read moretrying to triangulate my exact location based on this review relax, it's not that serious. Let's get into it. Right off I-205 and just a short cruise up into Happy Valley, this spot feels like the food cart scene finally put on a clean shirt and got its life together. It's modern, it's polished, and it sits in a neighborhood where you don't feel like you need to keep your head on a swivel. No chaos, no nonsense just good eats and a relaxed vibe. What makes this place stand out? Options. A ridiculous amount of them. This isn't a "hope everyone agrees on tacos" situation. This is a "you get what you want, I get what I want, and we all win" kind of place. I've officially made it my mission few days left to try as many carts as humanly possible. Call it a food tour, call it a personal challenge, call it reckless ambition... I'm doing it anyway. We kicked things off at K-Pop Korean Hawaiian BBQ-because when you roll with a buddy from Hawaii, that's basically law. And let me tell you, it delivers. Bold flavors, solid portions, and that perfect fusion vibe that just works. Honestly, it set the bar high and that's saying something, because every cart here seems to bring their A-game. The setup is dialed in too. Covered seating for those rainy Oregon days, indoor space when winter decides to show up with attitude, and open-air areas when you want to sip a little wine or knock back a cold brew like a civilized adult. Surrounded by trees and mountain views, it almost tricks you into thinking you planned something outdoorsy... when really, you just came to eat. And here's the kicker it's clean. Like, noticeably clean. The carts look new, the area is well kept, and the whole place feels intentional. Not slapped together. Not gritty. This is food carting with standards. If you're local, you already know. If you're passing through, put this at the top of your list. And if you're doing a full-on food truck tour? Start here. Set the tone right. Because trust me after this, when you head back downtown and start dodging zombies and chaos... you'll miss this place real quick.

Love me some Happy Valley Station!…read more This is like the upscale farmers market of food carts- park your car, enjoy the landscaping, and check it all out. Dog friendly, Kid friendly, 100-year old friendly. Lots of clean and tidy indoor and outdoor cafeteria-style seating to choose from. Carts are covered from the rain, but outside. Beer and Espresso served and paid for inside. Restrooms are accessible and inside. Carts will give you a buzzer to notify you when the order is ready, so you can go walk around or find a seat while you wait. It was very busy this particular day, but no problem, all the carts seemed to be prepared for that! Just a lot of friendly faces who understood we needed to drool over all the menus before arriving somewhere. We landed on Premier Japanese Hibachi and loved all the flavor. Some of the freshest shrimp and yakisoba I have ever had. We also had the grilled shrimp and steak. TIP: don't forget to ask how you want your steak because it is made to order! The sauces on the side were perfect for dipping and sharing. Unfortunately, the portions did feel small for $18 a plate. Also, how to order water with your meal was confusing- another worker said just go inside. Eventually I saw signs that water is free with purchase or $1, but you would think it would be obvious. Overall, Premier Japanese Hibachi and everything else was a hit, 10/10, TY!

Five stars, and this one's an honorable mention that somehow turned into a regular habit…read more I'm talking about K-Pop at the Happy Valley food carts, and yeah, there's a reason we keep circling back like it owes us money. You ever go somewhere thinking you'll just grab a quick bite, and next thing you know you're planning your return before you've even finished chewing? That's this place. What I like is they don't box themselves in. You've got Korean, Hawaiian, and a little mix of everything going on. I lean Hawaiian most days, something about it just hits right, especially when you're not trying to go all in. Sometimes you're just grabbing food, maybe bringing something back for later, pacing yourself like a responsible adult. This is that kind of spot. It works with you, not against you. And here's the thing, I used to write those safe reviews. "It's cute. Nice service." That tells nobody anything. That's background noise. This place deserves better than that. This is a spot you actually remember. Friendly people, solid food, and a consistency that turns a casual stop into a routine. Happy Valley's already a great area, so you're starting off on the right foot just being there. But if you're walking into that food cart pod and wondering where to go, I'm telling you straight up, this is one of the top choices. No overthinking it. Take my word for it, or don't. Either way, you'll end up here eventually.

This has become my favorite cart in the Happy Valley pod. The menu is an interesting mix of Korean,…read moreJapanese, and Hawaiian, which is nice to be able to mix it up each visit. My go-tos are the Shoyu or Teriyaki chicken plates, the Kalua Pork Plate, or the Bibimbap. My only do-betters are that the teriyaki chicken can sometimes be dry, and I wish both the chicken dishes came with a sauce. They do have sriracha packets if you ask. The plates come with rice, a small lettuce salad and dressing (could use a little more of that sometimes), and a mac salad with pretty simple black pepper seasoning. It's a good amount of food for the price. I also really appreciate, and choose to visit K-Bop, because they use the compostable clamshell containers, and not the wasteful single-use plastic like so many others. Recommended if you're stopping by his cart pod.
