From the very first phone call Ray was informative, personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. I let him know the situation my home theater was in and he was eager to help. His guys, Rocky and a partner, were able to get everything up and running properly like I had originally hoped for. The job has been completed for a couple of weeks and I have received a few phone calls from Ray checking to see if I was happy and if everything was running smoothly and working to my satisfaction. It is! The level of customer service is outstanding. It's hard to come across companies these days that really care about their customers the way I feel Ray cares about his. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their home.

I would highly recommend Cinematec Home Theater for any type of TV, Control4 or surround sound…read moreinstallation. Ray and his team (I dealt mostly with Rocky) are great to work with. They had installed the Control4 system at my house for the previous owners (who also recommended them), and added sound bars/subwoofers, game consoles and remote access to my system. They are very professional and committed the time to fully run me through the system - excellent customer service. I have used them for additional installs and have continued to be impressed by their professionalism. Since Control4 installers are all independent contractors, it is critical that a professional and ethical team is hired - they definitely check that requirement. Overall, their level of customer service at installation and maintenance is excellent. Definitely five stars!

On June 14, 2019, another AC company came to my house and diagnosed and fixed my AC in about an…read morehour. Total cost $324.00. I got ripped off by Cobalt for $845. (See pictures) In response to your comments David...... David I have never bullied anybody to get my way, I told you before you left my house, before I paid your $845; I was completely dissatisfied with your company and you failed to complete your verbal contract with me. I told you that you failed to complete the job as promised and I would post my poor experience with your company online and make complaints with the BBB and State Contractor's Board. These are my rights as a consumer. I am a man of my word, always! (Even when I could have withheld final payment or contested the charge with my credit card company, I didn't) I never shared with you or Jose that I was in Law Enforcement, nor used that to imply any authority or bullying. That allegation is dishonest. I invited you into my home, with my wife and kids, and yes I have law enforcement related items. Jose, your employee, and I had a conversation in my garage without you present where he stated if I paid $845 to check the leak and charge the system that the problem would be fixed. If he was honest, he would tell you the truth. If he would have told me, like you wrote in your formal statement to the BBB, that the $845 was "to continue the diagnosis and not to repair the system" like you claim, I would have paid the $99 house call fee, thanked Jose for his time and got a second opinion. My gut tells me you know the truth. It is a mark of poor integrity to fail to take personal responsibility for your employees' statements and point the finger at another company. You have also made statements as if you were part of the conversation, but you were not. I know you have not been in business long, but I hope you learn from this mistake and your employees give your customers accurate and realistic expectations in the future. I have a feeling if you were the one who arrived for the service call, we would not have this issue. I have worked with 100's of contractors in my life. Almost all contractors I have worked with on my Yelp page have received 5 star reviews because of setting clear expectations with agreed upon price and quality work. I have never before felt the need to file a complaint or initiate litigation, you are the first.

The owner David Earls is a con artist who cannot be trusted. Not so long ago he tried to sell me a…read morenew Central heating and A/C unit. However my current unit although over ten years old works just fine. Mr Earls told me that my furnace was emitting carbon monoxide fumes inside my home. He then Quoted me prices to replace the unit. I called the SoCal gas company that same day who came out and checked the unit but found not a single trace of carbon monoxide. So just beware of David Earls smiling lying face!
