This was our first time experiencing a Korean BBQ and we loved it. Atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. Our service was great thanks to our attentive server. It was a fun experience grilling the meats as we talked. Fount our we didn't really like the pork belly we tried but not bug on pork anyway. We didn't try the soup this time around but will go back. Dinner prices high IF you are not willing to try new food and if you're nit a big eater. read more

KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot - Very clean!! - Korean Near Me - Webster, Texas

Scale 1-10 Had protein lunch buffet Flavor 5, protein 7, desserts 3, Service 6 It's possible the hot pot buffet could've been a better choice. At best, it's a great introduction to Korean cuisine however I suggest to go explore more as there are many other options with a similar price points that are simply better. read more

I love the idea of this place but service was terrible. Upon walking in the host stand is directly next to the bar and very crowded. The host flashes the menu and asks if you want hot pot or bbq and you have to answer before being seated. For a brand new location I would have liked to sit down and review my options before deciding. Reviews from other locations imply that you get to pick your vegetables and protein buffet style to pick and choose but the host said they bring it to you. I was a bit overwhelmed by the process and having to choose without being able to view the menu fully and see what other people were doing so we left without dining. Even though I had an idea of the pricing, it would be really nice if the pricing was transparent on the website. Even though the menu is available online to view i still want to be able to hold the menu and decide in real time what I want without having to make choices before sitting down. We may try again at some point, this experience left a bad taste in my mouth and we will likely go to Gen when feeling like Korean BBQ next time. Very Disappointing. read more

We decided to stop by with our 3 year old. It could be when we came but the service was fast and very responsive. It was about 2pm on Sunday. Our server kept coming back and asking about us (in a good way) and he was giving out high fives and peek a bo with our son when coming by. He really didn't need to but the extra was great and our son loved it. The food was really good. We did hot pot and bbq and it was pricey but all you can eat. The best was the short rib and spicy chicken. Our son is very picky but ate some popcorn chicken and noodles. The korean soup was spicy but I love that and it was delicious. I'm still thinking about it! This seems like it would be a good date night location. Definitely will be back. read more

It's an experience you should try once but the price is a little on the high side. I've been to a few places like this and this one was definitely much more expensive. read more

Food was really good, I highly recommend having both options, My wife and I Healthy Herb and Miso, both excellent. Ivy the Manager stopped by and greeted us many times and the service was fast, they also taught us how to grill the proper way. The music was mostly K-POP which we really liked, If you are in the area, don't miss an opportunity for a great meal. read more

KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot - Amy's service was spectacular! - Korean Near Me - Webster, Texas

Party of 5 seated immediately upon arrival. Promptly greeted by server Eric, who explained the menu to us being it was our first time here. Meats and hot pot items came out quickly. They also provided a tablet to order more items, however server was very attentive to our needs as well. There's a salad bar with sauces, Korean sides (kim chee, seaweed salad, cucumber, daikon radish) and desserts (cakes, fruits, sago). We ordered kbbq and hot pot which was the same price as other place that only have kbbq. The food was delicious! Great flavor. Family enjoyed the schezuan chile broth. We will be returning! read more

This place is freaking expensive and for what? Our order was messed up and we didn't get everything we ordered. To me, it wasn't worth it. Food was fresh. The spice bar /dessert bar was meh. For 1 person in my group of 8 I paid $52. That's insane. This place won't stay open, that's not sustainable. I was all around disappointed and then hit with a large bill. read more

First time visiting on Saturday at 12pm and there was no waitlist so that's a plus. Our hostess/waitress was attentive and always checked on us. The sauce bar had many selection to choose from and is clean. Ambiance is ok as surrounding noise is loud so sometimes it's difficult to hear from your guest that sits across from you at a booth. On top of that the ventilation tube is centered on the table to a position where I could not see my guest, it blocks your view so you would need to slide left or right from your seat to see. When it's time to order food it's nice to make selection on a tablet. We were warned that the slicer machine is out of service and will take a short bit to get it working again. So all our selection of food item came out quick, even hot pot soup, except meat. Table size will need to be bigger when choosing both bbq and hotpot. We literally had to stack small plates on top of one another to make it all fit. I choose tomato soup base and flavor was bland so anything I add in the soup definitely will need to be dunked in dipping sauce. Most likely I will not visit again. read more

I despise having to write negative reviews. I don't do it often, BUT: Not a good experience, can't recommend this place. We were seated in a side room with some sort of dish cleaning station for employees on one end of room. Constant foot traffic, loud, and all we listened to was servers flirting and gossiping during our meal. Service was terrible. Rather than a waiter taking our order you have to use a tablet to let them know what you would like (noodles, veggies, meats, etc). Not a fan of this method. I ordered udon noodles. It too 30 minutes (this was after my wife received all of her items) for them to deliver the noodles to our table. I was shocked to see I was served a frozen block of noodles. Unbelievable and for the prices they charge, unacceptable. My wife was done with her hot pot meal before my frozen brick of dough arrived at our table. Our waiter was not good. He rarely came around and when he stop by he was condescending. I asked again about my noodles and he told us "the wifi is goes out sometimes" and this was the reason I was noodle-less for most of the meal. Our waiter did stick around when it was time to pay however. Stood around our table, uncomfortably close I might add, until I used to card machine to pay. One other thing: all of the bowls (for sauces) and the bbq burner at the table were still wet from dishwashing and cleaning. Not a huge deal but still a bit off putting. Overall a terrible experience. We won't be back. read more

We have been coming to KPOT for a while, we started at the bellaire location and then came to the new one in Webster. The food was good as always, but this time the service was not good. I understand that there is a 2 hour time limit per table, but our server kept on nagging us about the time limit and it was already an hour before closing time. There were plenty of other tables available for other parties. We had ordered our last round of meat, and then maybe 10-15 minutes after our server started coming by like every 5 minutes reminding us we had reached our limit and it was time for us to go, and even said the manager said it was time for us to go. So we felt like we were being rushed out the door despite us not being finished with our food and having raked up a high tab. Ever since then, we have a sour taste for KPot and haven't returned since. read more

Good food and good service. I like how they had a sauce bar to make your own sauce. The vibes were great as well

Just had dinner with my family there. We had the Korean bbq and hot pot. Flavor was good but portions were small compared to Gen. Some of our order didn't come out, but the server helped expedite our re-orders. We understand it's new and still working out the kinks, so that's understandable. What I was upset with was when the waiter asked for my child's age and asked for proof. Thẹn he came back and asked if he "was really 10 ... it's ok, if he's 11 or 12" Why would I need to lie about that?? Then he asked for his Covid documentation for proof. Seriously. I found that very offensive! Just because he's tall? And who the heck carries that around?? I won't leave his name because he didn't give bad service but THAT left a really bad taste in my mouth. read more

We were told that we needed to leave because it had been 2 hours. We didn't order or eat very much. It took approximately 15 minutes to 20 minutes from the time we sat down for our food to arrive. So it actually wasn't a full 2 hours. Our son eats very slowly. My husband and I were finished eating but we were waiting for our son to finish eating his meal. We had already payed the bill, well before the 2 hour mark (which we were not told about) and hadn't ordered any more food. We were just waiting for our son to finish eating what was already on his plate. We were not told up front that there would be a time limit. There was also no sign disclosing this. If they had told us we probably would not have stayed there because our son eats so slow. When I am spending $150 on a lunch. I expect to be able finish it. If we were ordering tons of food and stuffing our faces I could understand but we are just a normal family with a slow eater. And considering that we had already paid the bill and were just waiting for our son to finish what was on his plate, this was off putting. We won't be back. read more

My family and i came here for lunch. We arrived about 5 minutes before the restaurant opened. We were told to sit on waiting chair inside, so we did. When they started open the restaurant. They checked in customers who came later. My uncle asked them why and the answer he got was: we are waiting you to come back and get in line. No one told us we should have to do that even though we were there. We got our seats, no one came to guide us how to order foods. Very much later, A waitress came to explain everything. She did her best, I appreciated. Foods were okay but services weren't good at all. read more

Every time we come here the service is very questionable. Last time the server didn't bother to check in on us once and we kept having to look like meerkats popping our head up to see where he was, this time it was a tall and big boy, he was doing fine, but when the check came out, my man pays and i get the cash for tips, me still eating but wanting to help them close out our bill, and my man is paying out on the machine, he really said " did i really do that bad" a millisecond after he pressed no tip , i was in awe of the unprofessionalism, i've been a server for a good 4 years, that is so ignorant as a server, if you know you did good then expect that, it was only two of us not a party of 8 or a bill more than $200+, there was no reason to be rude and i hope you aren't like that with all of your tables, i would have tipped you more, you should always give the benefit of the doubt, not expecting something in return and give genuine service, youll get better tips trust me. will not be returning, every single time the service is always lacking read more

The food was ok. Apparently, the printed menu was not up to date. We were shown more options on a tablet. The hotpot choice of veggies was limited with bokchoy and spinach being the two main vegetables. The atmosphere was ok. It was busy and bustling and there were carts bussing tables and it it difficult to get to the sauce bar, desserts, and snacks. To top it all off, we get our bill and it was for full buffet for 5 people, but there were only 4 persons in my party. When I questioned the waitress she said her manager took the head count and he would have to change it. Then, the bill came back with 4 full dinner buffets charged and we told the waitress that we had told her that only 3 of us would be eating and the 4th person only wanted something to drink, even so, it was just water. Then she called the manager again and I asked if they charged rent for taking up space to which he said no. The manager then stated that the fourth person had eaten. We admitted that she had tasted 3 bites of different meats, pork belly, steak and spicy pork belly. Additionally, that person had 3 spoonfuls of white rice. The manager said, "Well I have to charge for something". At this point, I told him that was not fair and hardly worth the price of $36 for the full buffet with hot pot. I told him to just go ahead and charge me and he said they has a "snack" menu item and would only charge $7.95. All in all, I've had better food, better service, and better treatment. Will never return. read more
