False advertising. For the 3 days before/after, it's 50% off, not free.

False advertising. Nowhere does it say that "free" only applies to the actual day of your birthday, and that for the 3 days before/after, it's 50% off. They could've chosen to put it anywhere in this flyer, even the fine print, but chose not to, despite the fact that it's "always been policy". It should've been policy to honor the words that were written on the website. The aiyu jelly and potato salad were good. The self ordering from the tablet was cool, and the food came out pretty fast. However, meats were cut too thick. No standard brisket for lunch bbq. Soup and resulting meat from it were flavorless, and according to the other three people that all got the KPot Special flavored soup, it was very oily. Clams were full of sand.

Well sauced and not overly so. Really delicious selections

Honestly a really great experience! I'm not entirely sure when this place opened up down here but its really clean. The entrance lights are a really cool touch despite how old the building is. My friend and I got seated immediately (right before dinner rush) and while we were allocated a new waiter to Kpot, a more experienced waiter came and made sure we were going to be well taken care of. Shout out to... man i shoulda asked how to spell her name but... it's pronounced "Ee-vian" I'll have to revisit and get her name right for justice The only item on the menu tonight that was missing were the scallops which was a bummer considering its at the beginning of dinner time. For how quickly busy it became, everything came out in super fast. There were staff near the sauce bar keeping it clean and organized, and the new waiter kept our grill new and replaced it frequently. One qualm is the sauce bar is quite wide to reach the back side to get stuff so i find my face literally up to the glass shield. Not necessarily enough to touch it but uncomfortably in my face. Tbh I was so hungry I forgot to take more pictures than just my food so I'ma have to redeem myself in the near future :P

Cousins, look at here if you want to eat good and cook your own food, you can still go to KPot. They'll have all the trimmings you need to make it just how you like it. Tonight was a celebration for my Sugar Bear. He is turning 50. we celebrated all weekend long and after we rested all day, we came here for dinner with the girls. We had a great time discovering and experiencing food that we've never eaten before such as snails, something that looks like a scallop, but it's not, I was digging in on the ribeye and the crab legs. The miso soup broth was amazing and I love that they kept bringing out the food once we requested it on the iPad. The bill was about $35 per person. The only thing I would add is the ability to have your own table space for all the extra dishes that you are not using once you start cooking the meats and proteins. We had a great time and there's been a running joke even though it's his birthday to have the restaurant sing to him. He just giggles like a little kid . Thank you and Paul our waitress for taking the time to make my bay feel so special.

This is the 2nd time we've been back and omg, it taste much better than the first. The first time we came was during opening month and I can tell that they've worked out a lot of their kinks here and there. The meat quality and taste are much better. Hotpot was delicious! I loved all of my experience today. The ambiance was on point as always too! Oh BY THE WAY, their boba is delicious and tapioca is the perfect softness! Will definitely be back! Yall should request Annie as a server too, because she was exceptional today!

Food was amazing, the wife was very happy with the hot pot spicy base and sat down for 2 hrs eating crab and a variety of meat. My buddy that came with us ate lamb, beef, wagyu etc. They had these amazing coffee sponge cakes. All in all for 32 bucks for all you can eat, we can all safely say we left satisfied and full. The waitress was beyond nice and gave us space to eat and laugh and enjoy while also keeping an eye on our drinks and steady refills. The ambiance was amazing and all in all not too loud but also not too quiet. Great music as well!

Annyeong (Korean for hello)! The Clear Lake/NASA area has been once again blessed with another new eatery, and it's the second Korean BBQ joint to open in a two-year span. As a few of you Yelpers know, I began 2024 in the hospital and couldn't eat out as much as I tried to figure my new diet out. KPOT threw open its doors while I battled for my life so it ended up on the list of places I wanted to try as soon as I got better. Summer is the season of the grill, but why sweat it out when there's a restaurant like this? KPOT's main draw is that diners can choose to have the traditional BBQ, hot pot, or both. For our inaugural visit, my younger brother and I decided on the BBQ. It was quite busy on the afternoon of the last day of June, but we were quickly seated and Alan took care of us right away. And so ensued our dinner. We stocked up on mostly bolgogi and galbi, which were complemented by generous helpings of banchan, cabbage, and rice. Unlike other Korean places, KPOT allows customers to select their own banchan and sauces from a small buffet setup in the back. What's my verdict? A target unlocked. No more making an hours-long trek to Spring Branch for real. Rest assured KPOT deserves another visit from me.

When I walked in, the place was clean and the aroma of BBQ was smelling really good in the air. The decor was very nice and the owner was even nicer and very welcoming. I went in there only looking for ribs because I have found that a really good rib is hard to find, however, the ribs here were very tasty, a little pricey, but very good. I always say that I don't mind paying extra when the food is as good as the money spent for it. Now, let me tell you that I only purchased a pound of ribs and a quart of Mac and cheese and the M&C was also good. I believe that the young man helping behind the counter was the owner's son so that tells me that the business is family owned, can't go wrong with that. The other sides looked delicious as well but I was not really that hungry for other dishes. I will go back and try the other items on the menu at another time. Now that I know where it is, it will be easy peasy to get there again. Once again, I forgot to take a picture of the food but I will when I go back. Part…read moreof the Pappas family of restaurant, this is their high end, elevated bbq stop that takes bbq and steaks to a new level. For starters, their HRW dinner menu sits at the low end price wise with a $40 option. Sure you can upgrade to a better steak but you can land a filet mignon on the $40 menu. Appetizers offered include a salad, a queso with sausage and chips and a boudin link. We sampled all. And because I love pork belly added their sticky pork belly appetizer to the table. First off, they don't skimp on the HRW portions. The waitress was clear that the boudin only had one link but it's was more than enough with the seasoned crackers, pickled onions and stone mustard. The queso features beef sausage and homemade chips. And the pig cubes are magic. Sticky and perfectly cooked. Mains too are well executed and plentiful. The steak eaters smiled big and those of us who opted for the triple bbq option were floored by the big ribs and the two additional meats that filled the plate. And than add 2 sides (bring an empty belly and plan on leftovers. Dessert is stunning as well. The cheesecake was light and fresh and the pecan cobbler an artistic delight. Shout out to the management who stopped at the table to discuss allergy precautions staff would take to protect a member of our party and to our super waitress Malaysia who handled our party with humor and kindness. She had a great handle on the menu and continually brought us containers for leftovers. The restaurant itself is relaxed but well appointed in the style you expect from Pappas. Run people!

I used to come here all the time with an ex-boyfriend but haven't been back in years. I made the drive from Katy to Bacliff to pick up some vintage garden trellises, and at just two miles away, I immediately knew lunch had to be at T-Bone Tom's. One of my favorite things about this place is the absolutely massive outdoor seating area. It's covered, so normally it's a fantastic place to sit without roasting in direct sun, but after several days of heavy rain mixed with Houston humidity and temperatures around 90 degrees, there was absolutely no convincing anyone in my party that sitting outside for lunch was a good idea. Only my second time ever sitting indoors here. The place was already bustling by 11:30 and packed by noon, which tells you everything you need to know. We were greeted immediately when we arrived, and even though we came through the back entrance for patio seating, the hostess was cheerful and accompanied us to the dining room, where we were also immediately greeted by one of the indoor hostesses. Our server Joshua was excellent throughout the meal--friendly, attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and always on top of things. We started with drinks and boudin balls, which came with four and ranch dressing. I tend to go through phases of what I'm addicted to, and right now it's boudin balls. If it's on the menu, I'm ordering them. These were fried to perfection, hot, and delicious. A great appetizer to start the meal. While we waited to order our main course, there were two things our table seemed to rave about: giant drink glasses and crackers. It sounds silly, but not having to constantly wait around for refills makes a big difference. And crackers on the table? It seemed like memory lane for the older members of our party, who quite enjoy bits of nostalgia. So few restaurants bother doing little things like that anymore, so my lunch selection was awarding me kudos before the lunch even started! Mom and Mark split the 14 oz. ribeye with spinach and potato salad. Although splitting two sides might have been enough, Mom added a side of mashed potatoes for herself. It's always a toss up with restaurants and steak. True mediums aren't always a true medium--you have to order medium rare or medium well to get it just right. But the medium here is actually a medium. Mom kept talking about how delicious the steak was and said it was one of the best she's had in a long time. If you know my mom, compliments don't come easy. It's a big deal. Ha. I ordered the plate I always get: the Monterey chicken with fried okra and spinach. It may have been years since I was last here, but this dish is as excellent as it has always been, if not better. The chicken was incredibly tender, cooked perfectly, and covered with flavorful mushrooms and onions. I also really love that their vegetables are homemade rather than straight out of a freezer bag. The fried okra and fresh spinach were wonderful. Berta ordered the chopped beef sandwich with potato salad. They gave her so much beef, there was enough for two people to enjoy that plate. She ended up taking more than half home. We finished the meal with vanilla ice cream and their infamous bread pudding, which was warm, rich, and easily enough dessert for four people to share. Mom had ordered it for herself and said she didn't want to share, but when she saw how big the portion was, she asked Berta and I to join in. T-Bone Tom's is a popular place among locals and tourists alike. It offers great food, a fun atmosphere, friendly service, and remains one of those places that still feels uniquely Texas in the best possible way. We'll definitely be back, and much sooner this time!
