Came over to celebrate my 4 years with my company and honestly it was fun due to the company but the fact you have to choose either soup and meats or only meats it's interesting and only works well if everyone that goes likes the same things otherwise it's a waste of money. I thought cooking for myself would be so fun but it isn't and the flavor of meats was delicious due to my friend. One cool thing was the sauce and spice bar. Ambience it's a modern dive Korean spot. Service was good. Prices are okay. If you are a fan of Korean barbecue maybe you'd like to come and check it out, I've been to some and had better experiences as menu was open to order whatever you wanted.

Our family came to celebrate my nephew's birthday with an early dinner. TIP: They do not accept reservations and will only seat a party at the table if half of the party is present at the establishment. However, we were the only guests upon arrival, so seating us was very fast. We decided to get drinks first and go over the menu. Our server explained how the kpot worked, he turned on the burners and explained how to turn on the soup burners. He also explained how to use the tablet to order more food. All the dishes were brought out very quickly, and cooking the foods was easy and quick as well. We did all 3 kpots, which are the soup, the BBQ style and the seafood boil kpot. TIP: Gratuity is included in parties of 6 or more people. They have a sauce/sides bar. You can choose sides like radish or cabbage kimchi or make your own sauces following the ingredients on the wall. They also have a dessert station. This establishment is very nice and well decorated.

What an amazing experience. Visited on a Wednesday around 2:40pm and there were plenty of tables available. They will not sit a party if there isnt at least 5 people there ready to be seated. Our waiter Sean was nothing short than AMAZING. He explains everything in perfect detail if youre a newbie. You can choose from either the soup, grill or a seafood broil. We opted for all 3 at the lunch proce of $31 (if I remember correctly) per person. I think we could've done without the seafood broil but either way it was still tasty. Lota of food to go around. Plenty of vegtable, meat, chicken, and seafood choices. The have a hot sauce bar with a few recipes on how to make your own chili sauces. They also have a few French fries, chicken nuggets, eggrolls and desserts to pick from at the bar. Perfect for small little ones who just need something to much on. Such an awesome place and can't wait to go back! This is conveniently located in Matthews shopping center with plenty of parking spaces to choose from.

Aesthetic: Modern, hip Korean BBQ and Hot Pot restaurant with "cook your own food" tables. My Favorites: All the meats and veggies were incredible, but the DIY sauce bar was my favorite. Experience: We had an amazing date night here, and we can't wait to come back! We started at the sauce bar and created some fun concoctions to dip our food in. I tried the Thai base for my hot pot soup base, and it was a great decision, I loved the broth! Everything we tried was delicious, there was nothing I tried that fell short on flavor. Our waiter was incredibly attentive, and he came by often to check that we were enjoying our experience. Go here, you won't be disappointed!

Best Kpot in the city! I've been to a few spots like this but nothing compares. Definitely check them out !

Nestled into a strip mall, it was easy to find and park! We were greeted and seated immediately. What a vibrant eclectic atmosphere with endless seating, and I saw a few private rooms as well for big parties. The "salad bar" had tons of different sauce options, along with some fresh salads such as seaweed and kimchi, fresh fruit and then a spot with chicken nuggets, french fries and spring rolls which were tasty! The waitress easily walked us through our ordering process and away we went! We ended up with both the bbq and hot pot because for $5 more, why not?! Well worth it and the broth added another layer of goodness. So many options of fresh vegetables and meats, also seafood! We tried the thin sliced lamb, prime rib and mussels in our broth plus more beef and chicken bulgogi bbq. The spicy one was by far my favorite and not overwhelmingly spicy! Our meals were served with white rice, and a variety of noodles were also available to choose from. Overall, left stuffed after only an hour! They have a full bar with unique cocktails and beers, but honestly save your appetite for the food!

I wonder why they had so much clutter up front?? Just did not make a good impression as you walked in. Then the music...it's no longer K-Pop, but Rap (or heavier Hip Hop?). I've never been to a KBBQ restaurant that didn't play K-Pop...so that was a bit offputting (for me). Not only did it betray the theme of the restaurant (K-Pot??), I just thought it made the vibe feel a bit too hard and intense...not as chill and relaxing as before. Then the menu. Seemed that they got rid of the desktop menu...which I kinda liked. With my verbal orders, there were some mistakes. They brought out 2 orders of Spicy Fish and 2 orders of Calamari...which just made the table busier than it needed to be. Still, my waitress was fairly attentive...so no issues after that. I ordered my fave items...Spicy Bulgogi, Beef Brisket, Spicy Fish and Calamari, along with Pineapple and Broccoli. Plus, there's the AYCE table with side dishes and sauces...which made the whole experience busier than it needed to be?? Still, one of the strengths of this place is its abundance of side veggies! I enjoyed the meal...but I missed a few options normally found in more authentic Korean BBQ restaurants. Unfortunately, I felt that the ambiance was way off this time (messy entrance, harsh overhead music)...plus I think the A/C was off (or on too low). Sorry, but must dock a star this time.

We get to play with our food and have a fun time with our family and friends all while making a mess! Plus, robots!" There are so many dining choices to make here but we really can't go wrong especially since it's "all you can eat". Pick a broth (simple? mild? umami? spicy? very spicy?), and then select among literally dozens of raw meats, seafood, veggies, tofu and noodles to cook in it. Each person gets their own pot, so be selfish and choose your pleasure. Order some dumplings or other dim sum "appetizers" Order various sashimi or sushi rolls. Go to the cold bar and stock up on Asian salad options and various dipping sauces. For us big kids beer, wine, sake and soju are also available. Then as the broth in the buckets boil in front of us start adding and scooping out ingredients. Eat. Repeat. Did I say robots? The food is delivered to the tables by these cutesy things. Just don't stiff the bots on tips - I hear they'll run you down and tase you (just kidding - I think). Did I say messy? Seriously, don't wear nice clothes. Broth gets distributed, well, pretty much everywhere. Needless to say, Yiding Hot Pot is a place best enjoyed with a group. Approved and recommended for children of all ages!

I have eaten here many times and I have tried virtually everything on the menu. With that said, here is my take on it. Everything that I have tried has been delicious! For cold appetizers, I am a big fan of the Black Fungus W. Vinegar Sauce, Cold Spicy Sour Cucumber and the Spicy Beef Tendon. For hot appetizers, everyone raves about the Popcorn Chicken and I concur that it's very good! I really like the Frled Pork Gyoza too. For the main course, they have some rice dishes, but the main focus is the hot pot soups. They bring out a 300°F Stone bowl of broth (in an insulated pot holder) and the ingredients to put in it. You put the meat and lettuce in first, then the other ingredients and the noodles last then wait for "10 seconds"thus the name of the restaurant. I have tried all of the broths and they are all good depending on your tastes. The original broth is the bass broth. Then they add things to the other others to differentiate them. My favorites are the Tomato Soup (especially with Beef Flank) and Spicy Soup. If you like things VERY spicy, they can bring you some cut Thai peppers. The wait staff are patient are very helpful in guiding patrons. They understand that this is a new experience for them. They also pay attention to their customers eating habits. One time when I went in, they noticed that I added lots of chili peppers and chili oil to my food. That's when she said she could bring me some very hot fresh chili peppers. Charlotte is truly blessed to have so many great authentic Chinese body shops popping up all over town! I highly recommend this place! Cheers!

Even during a busy service, the staff is attentive and the food comes out incredibly fast. The prices were still $30 a head. I don't think there was a time limit for how long you could stay then. Now it's $40 a head (which inflation.... I get it) with a two hour limit. My main issue is the ambiance is horrible!!! They painted the big wooden booths with this cheap sticky black paint that's slowly coming off. I was wearing shorts and it was PAINFUL if I got up too quickly. The lighting is cold and uncomfortable. It's not a welcoming place to dine anymore. A completely depressing environment. Everything looks like it's in disrepair and being very poorly maintained. The quality of the meats has gone down as well. The sides were not fresh. Especially the cucumbers. This is no hate to the staff but almost everyone that worked there seemed miserable as well. They did a great job but it just seemed like they all were sad for some reason. I truly think it's the environment. I would hate working at such a depressing restaurant. The staff were attentive and consistently checking on us. They never left us alone for too long! There was one guy with glasses that was exceptional. He was great with the small details of serving. Always pre bused something from the table every time he came by. If you're smart you will bump his hourly and make him a shift manager/ trainer. The staff is the reason I'm not giving one star. Korean culture is vibrant and fun! Please hang up some art work and posters. Hire someone to remove that god awful sticky paint! Which I know you can't clean properly. Change the lightbulbs to warm lighting. Put out some fun decor on the tops of the booths. Make your restaurant into a place people naturally feel happy to be at. Paint over that black wall in the back and fill it from top to bottom with Korean art work as an accent wall! Or put in giant decorative shelves with plants and collectible Korean toys. DO ANYTHING FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.
