Hot pot followed by dessert. Excellent!

First time customers. Stop by for lunch with my wife and it was an amazing experience. Would highly recommend visiting and have lunch or dinner. We had lunch and we will be going back for dinner soon. A+ customer service, the service providers were very personable and willing to work with us to explain the system since it was our first time. Highly recommend.

Very clean establishment. Staff has great energy, the music is on point. Definitely a good little vibe with great food. I usually go to the one in Charlotte but this one is now my favorite

Came over to celebrate my 4 years with my company and honestly it was fun due to the company but the fact you have to choose either soup and meats or only meats it's interesting and only works well if everyone that goes likes the same things otherwise it's a waste of money. I thought cooking for myself would be so fun but it isn't and the flavor of meats was delicious due to my friend. One cool thing was the sauce and spice bar. Ambience it's a modern dive Korean spot. Service was good. Prices are okay. If you are a fan of Korean barbecue maybe you'd like to come and check it out, I've been to some and had better experiences as menu was open to order whatever you wanted.

Our family came to celebrate my nephew's birthday with an early dinner. TIP: They do not accept reservations and will only seat a party at the table if half of the party is present at the establishment. However, we were the only guests upon arrival, so seating us was very fast. We decided to get drinks first and go over the menu. Our server explained how the kpot worked, he turned on the burners and explained how to turn on the soup burners. He also explained how to use the tablet to order more food. All the dishes were brought out very quickly, and cooking the foods was easy and quick as well. We did all 3 kpots, which are the soup, the BBQ style and the seafood boil kpot. TIP: Gratuity is included in parties of 6 or more people. They have a sauce/sides bar. You can choose sides like radish or cabbage kimchi or make your own sauces following the ingredients on the wall. They also have a dessert station. This establishment is very nice and well decorated.

What an amazing experience. Visited on a Wednesday around 2:40pm and there were plenty of tables available. They will not sit a party if there isnt at least 5 people there ready to be seated. Our waiter Sean was nothing short than AMAZING. He explains everything in perfect detail if youre a newbie. You can choose from either the soup, grill or a seafood broil. We opted for all 3 at the lunch proce of $31 (if I remember correctly) per person. I think we could've done without the seafood broil but either way it was still tasty. Lota of food to go around. Plenty of vegtable, meat, chicken, and seafood choices. The have a hot sauce bar with a few recipes on how to make your own chili sauces. They also have a few French fries, chicken nuggets, eggrolls and desserts to pick from at the bar. Perfect for small little ones who just need something to much on. Such an awesome place and can't wait to go back! This is conveniently located in Matthews shopping center with plenty of parking spaces to choose from.

Aesthetic: Modern, hip Korean BBQ and Hot Pot restaurant with "cook your own food" tables. My Favorites: All the meats and veggies were incredible, but the DIY sauce bar was my favorite. Experience: We had an amazing date night here, and we can't wait to come back! We started at the sauce bar and created some fun concoctions to dip our food in. I tried the Thai base for my hot pot soup base, and it was a great decision, I loved the broth! Everything we tried was delicious, there was nothing I tried that fell short on flavor. Our waiter was incredibly attentive, and he came by often to check that we were enjoying our experience. Go here, you won't be disappointed!

Nestled into a strip mall, it was easy to find and park! We were greeted and seated immediately. What a vibrant eclectic atmosphere with endless seating, and I saw a few private rooms as well for big parties. The "salad bar" had tons of different sauce options, along with some fresh salads such as seaweed and kimchi, fresh fruit and then a spot with chicken nuggets, french fries and spring rolls which were tasty! The waitress easily walked us through our ordering process and away we went! We ended up with both the bbq and hot pot because for $5 more, why not?! Well worth it and the broth added another layer of goodness. So many options of fresh vegetables and meats, also seafood! We tried the thin sliced lamb, prime rib and mussels in our broth plus more beef and chicken bulgogi bbq. The spicy one was by far my favorite and not overwhelmingly spicy! Our meals were served with white rice, and a variety of noodles were also available to choose from. Overall, left stuffed after only an hour! They have a full bar with unique cocktails and beers, but honestly save your appetite for the food!

Anyhow, I digress, so I looked up the menu, called, the gentleman I spoke with was the nicest person!! Immediately helped me even though I confused him, and had me all set within 2 calls. The food: This food has come straight from Heaven folks!! Specifically for me, I am allergic to cayenne yep and I live in BBQ land. I cannot eat BBQ here 99% of the time. HOWEVER!!!! Rock Store has no such thing on their pulled pork or in the sauce we had ( hubby brought some home)!!! Every time he has to go to the store near there he will be bringing Rock Store BBQ home for supper!!!! The catered meal was awesome and more than plenty for everyone, to deliver it was super reasonable, and it was affordable!!! You cannot go wrong with these folks!!! Thank You Rock Store Bar-B-Q you have truly impressed us, and made it possible for me to enjoy BBQ.

They call it a 1/2 pound burger and it is every bit of that. The burger itself was very juicy and full of flavor. I had a side of Mac n cheese. Some of the bits of it were a little over cooked, but pretty good overall. I might try a different side next time. I sat at the bar since I was by myself. I wish I'd gotten the bartenders name, but she provided the nicest service I've had in a while when eating out. Across the restaurant industry, prices have gone up making it more difficult to eat out. It's nice knowing that not all people in the service industry take their role for granted. It made my rare dining trip out worthwhile. Looking forward to going back out to Mac's next time I'm craving a big juicy burger.

The fried pickles were soggy however it was a Door Dash order so that could have been the issue. The egg rolls were good. The mac and cheese and street corn were both good. The mashed potatoes were okay, but not great. We did not like the beans at all. Tried a bunch of sauces. They didn't come labeled so not sure what we liked. Would definitely go back for the ribs, egg rolls, and mac and cheese!

This review is for they CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST that's done on Sundays…read more It is a fairly new thing they are trying and it is a great idea. It is by weight so you serve yourself and then weight the plate to gluons out how much to pay. This is very common in Brazil and I was very excited to come and experience it. We drove there and arrived around 11:30. The Instagram page said the breakfast goes from 8am - 1 pm. We arrived at 1130, there was nearly no food left and whatever that was left was cold. There's about an hour and a half left on the experience and I could not even get a second plate cause not even that they were replenishing. We told the manager lady that came by the table that we were kind of upset that with plenty of time the breakfast was in such poor shape. We ate cold food. No eggs were left, no bread at all.... And the warm food was in crock pots, even with that. They turned off the crock pots... they were already off when we arrived... at 11:30? For a breakfast experience that is over at 1pm.... I can understand that this kind of experience can be a gamble and the restaurant owner can lose a lot of money in food waste. But there was ways, maybe leaving the table open passing lunch for those who wake up late like me. Sunday is a day a lot of people go to church. At 1205 while we were still possibly trying to take advantage of the breakfast that is advertised to be over at 1pm, they started to break down. So we who were still there couple not have any more coffe of any of the food we came to eat anymore, and anyone that could come in last minute for the experience now will not be able to. If it was someone like me who lives half hour away, get here at noon to have the breakfast I would be very angry to drive and get here on time and see them breaking it down. I told my concerns to the staff and hope it will assist to improve the experience for their guests because this has a lot of potential, but it is not being executed.

I had a pineapple caipirinha. It contained fresh pineapple and was quite tasty. For the appetizer, we tried the chicken coxinhas, which is apparently a must have Brazilian street food. I didn't much care for them, but I don't think these were bad ones. I suspect that I just don't care for the mix of flavors and textures. I'll try the beef ones next time. For dinner, we shared the steak and fries platter and it was delicious. The flavors showcased the steak- no marinade, no sauce, just good steak, decent fries, and a cheese sauce. Between this and side salads, we were well-fed and quite satisfied. Our server was appropriately attentive and offered recommendations. I would recommend this spot for a lowkey, no frills, casual night out where good grub the main thing you're looking for.
