Mushroom and bone broth, spicy bone broth

My first time trying hot pot and Yiding set the bar high! Great selection of proteins and vegetables. Didn't get too adventurous for my first time but would be open to in the future. The robot server was a fun touch to the experience. Staff was attentive and refilled our base broth regularly. Made a rookie mistake and ate too many noodles to start due to being hungry. Will definitely stick to proteins and veggies as the main food group.

My second or third time trying hot pot, first time here. This was quite good. Quiet on a Monday night, my friend with his wife and young daughter had a positive experience. Lots of options for broth and then the all-you-can-eat menu was great. We got five different meats, a bunch of veggies, different noodles and then supplemented it with a few items from the buffet. Of course, there's also a big self-service sauce bar so you can spice things up. Service was good and attentive. Our waitress did a great job of clearing dirty plates and of course, the robot that brings out orders was a hit. [Review 254 of 2024 - 3520 in North Carolina - 21289 overall.]

Started off the new year with a delicious and filling meal. My friends and I dropped by this unsuspecting hotpot place for the first time since it opened just a short while ago. We all opted for AYCE HotPot and were thrilled to be seated right away despite our large party. Service was wonderful and the owner and staff came to check on us frequently. For $30, you can select unlimited meats, veggies and desserts. There is also a hot and cold bar that offers lobster stir fry, crab legs, salmon sashimi and more. I would say this is a great deal for someone that likes variety. We were all pleasantly surprised by how seasoned the broths were. Highly recommend getting the Spicy Tomato Broth if you want a little kick of spice and a little bit of sweetness. The thinly cut hotpot meat was very tender and good quality. A cute little robot came out and dropped off all the orders, which made for an even grayer experience. We ended up missing a few orders here and there but it was the day after new years and the place was seemingly packed and staff was busy. A very solid hotpot place in Charlotte and a great bang for your buck if you are able to eat a lot.

Before going in, I was thinking to myself why go to a HOT POT during the summer, it Is going to be HOT and I will not enjoy it. But I was wrong, they have really good system that kept it cool for this hot summer night. So I been wanting to try this place since they opened however I learned that you have to order each items separately and it can add up quickly with each items cost about $5 to $7. But as soon as I found out about the ALL YOU CAN EAT, I am happy to come and try. This new deal is $30 per person which includes some ready to eat food at the hot bar, DIM SUM, and all the hot pot items. You might say it is expensive for each person, but being all you can eat you don't have to worry about not enough food. Food from hot bar tasted ok, nothing too great or too bad. It has good variety. You can also ordered some dim sum not on the hot bar, I ordered some soup dumplings, fried bun, fried fish, ad fried pumpkin cake, they are with great flavors. For the hot pot, each person got to pick their own broth. The broth is what makes the hotpot good or bad. I am happy to say that I tried three broths, they are great. The mushroom one is creamy, tomato has a hint of sweetness, and my favorite is the Yiding Mala. Yiding Mala is perfect for me, I like spicy broth on hot pot but I don't like it too hot, this is just prefect with enough spicy for me. There two other more spicy broth if you are into spicy. Overall this is a great place, will come back again!

Came with my friends and didn't know what to expect. So happy that Charlotte has an all you can eat hot pot location! It's nice to see that Charlotte is expanding the Asian cuisine! Our party ordered the all you can eat, and we all strategized on what meats and veggies to order. We also wanted to try the different soups, so we strategized with that as well. Definitely come with a crew. There's also a few hot bar options while you wait for your soups to heat up, and several sauces for dipping your meats/veggies. If you don't know what to mix there's a nice little suggestion recipe next to the sauces. I tried it it was good. The staff were pretty attentive and responsive when we asked for more dishes, our robot was also very cute and timey. It's a new space, so very clean and modern. Highly recommend checking them out!

I really like this place! I have been here twice and enjoyed it both times. It is located in Pineville next to the new Super G Mart and there is plenty of parking. My first time there, I went with a group of 20+ people and they have private rooms with karaoke to cater to large parties. It is $300 food minimum for the smaller room and $500 for the larger room. We were in the larger room and $500 was easy to hit with so many people and such a great value to have karaoke included versus paying per hour at Seoul Food. I love being able to order food off my phone and the little robot server delivers the food. Service as great and very attentive. My favorite broth was the tomato one. There is a sauce bar in the back and I felt like the ingredients were all fresh. I personally am glad it is not an all-you-can-eat hotpot place because I hate stuffing myself into a food coma to get my money's worth. My family and I also came here on Mother's Day and I love how you get your own individual pot. I didn't mind sharing in the private room but having your own is pretty nice. Overall, such a great addition to the Charlotte food scene and hope to return soon!

Read about the news and announcements for this place before going there with a group of friends, and felt disappointed after the meal. - I attended two parties there. The first one started at 4:30pm in Room Y and the second one was booked for 6:30pm. Around 6pm, the party organizer was told by the restaurant that the room was not ready and changed the reservation to 7pm. Then near 7pm, the reservation was moved again to 7:30pm and to another room. By then I was told that the two parties were intended to be in the same room. Question for the restaurant: when you organize reservations, why and how could you be confident that a 30-people party can end in 2 hours that you book one for 4:30pm and the following one for 6:30pm? - We ordered the soup base with 5 hot pepper rating, which is the most spicy one. However, it is not spicy and just basically lack of flavor - more salt would help. We ran to Super G nearby and purchased some hotpot soup base. - We had a lot of "self-serving". Our server was nice and I would not blame him, but the restaurant should think about how to improve service for big groups. Need more effort on cleaning up empty dishes, adding broth, etc. There is a call for service button in the room; however if we really want to have a complete service, the server pretty much needs to be dedicated to our room without worrying about other tables. - Edamame, which is one of the appetizers offered at the self serve bar, was not cooked fully that day. - Even though each dish is under $10, the portion is not impressive thus overall it is easy to reach $40-$50 pp. Comparing to other hotspot places in NC, it is on a more expensive side. - Karaoke is okay. It is not the best I've experienced, but it worked. It is a good option for large party gatherings, but I will not choose this place if I just want to dine out with a few friends to enjoy food. As the only Chinese hotpot place in Charlotte, I wish it could improve from all perspectives and offer better customer experience.

The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food served! I have eaten here many times and I have tried virtually everything on the menu. With that said, here is my take on it. Everything that I have tried has been delicious! For cold appetizers, I am a big fan of the Black Fungus W. Vinegar Sauce, Cold Spicy Sour Cucumber and the Spicy Beef Tendon. For hot appetizers, everyone raves about the Popcorn Chicken and I concur that it's very good! I really like the Frled Pork Gyoza too. For the main course, they have some rice dishes, but the main focus is the hot pot soups. They bring out a 300°F Stone bowl of broth (in an insulated pot holder) and the ingredients to put in it. You put the meat and lettuce in first, then the other ingredients and the noodles last then wait for "10 seconds"thus the name of the restaurant. I have tried all of the broths and they are all good depending on your tastes. The original broth is the bass broth. Then they add things to the other others to differentiate them. My favorites are the Tomato Soup (especially with Beef Flank) and Spicy Soup. If you like things VERY spicy, they can bring you some cut Thai peppers. The wait staff are patient are very helpful in guiding patrons. They understand that this is a new experience for them. They also pay attention to their customers eating habits. One time when I went in, they noticed that I added lots of chili peppers and chili oil to my food. That's when she said she could bring me some very hot fresh chili peppers. Charlotte is truly blessed to have so many great authentic Chinese body shops popping up all over town! I highly recommend this place! Cheers!

While the initial serving may not look huge, it's definitely enough to satisfy one to two people. The noodles are on a different level--so delightfully chewy and yummy!
