Update: What was promised at 8:30am: Totally re-clean the interior and exterior and the offer to replace the bluetooth. Wow! What was delivered at 4:30pm: A spot update to the problem area that I pointed out (it looked nice), a promise to call back about the bluetooth and I had to pay $9 for parking because they ran out of validations for the month. When I dropped off the car that morning and talked to the team I was ready to change this to a 5 star review. I had thought "this is a small business that knows how to make things right". I had even noticed that they had replaced the molded plastic covers on some of the mechanisms (a nice bonus) When I left that afternoon, I though "another over-promise, under-deliver". ------ I just got two services done to my brother's car as a Christmas present to him after reading the reviews on Yelp. They broke my heart. I have called the owner and asked for a redo, so I may change my review, but the first point below pretty much guarantees they won't get 5 stars The first thing that bothered me was that they vacuumed up my Bluetooth headset and gave it to someone else. Another customer mentioned that he lost a square one (mine was round) and they gave him mine anyway. When I came to ask if they found a Bluetooth they said yes and that they had given it away to another who was missing one that didn't match the description of mine. Who does that? If you find a black wallet, do you give it to a guy missing a blue one? The second thing was the interior. The polish on the dash was slopped on and it dried with drips coming down the dash. It looked just awful when I came out of the garage. The worst part is that my gift to him sucks. It is hard to put my name on a gift that I am not proud of. They were some of the friendliest people in the world ( I -wanted- to give them 5 stars) and they seemed to really care...but at the end of the day it was money (and time) completely wasted. read more

Make an appointment before coming in! Great service. I didn't have an appointment, but they were very accommodating even though they had a full day. Very personable and even as an add-on, they took the time to give my car the best wash it's had. Ever. Worth the price. You pay for the parking ticket, but they deduct it from the price. So you only pay $35 at the end of the day for a wash. They also have a makeshift seating are with free wifi (no cell service in P4 of the garage). Works for me. I've tried KP Touch twice now, and my experiences have been mixed. My first experience, I went in for a wash and hand wax. The guys took great care of the car, and I was blown away at the result. My car had never looked this clean, spotless, and just overall great. I was hooked. Only thing was, it was a tad pricey because I added a few things that they told me was unnecessary, but charged me for anyways. 4 Stars. Then I came again a few months later for a wash and hand wax. This time it was a couple different employees. They did a great job of cleaning and waxing the car, but driving away, I noticed that there were streaks on my windshield. They didn't completely wipe the windshield, and the glare from the sun made it very noticeable. Then when I put my windows down, water ran up the windows. They didn't completely dry my car either. So my car windows and windshield ended up having white spots and streaks. I was pretty disappointed by this. Any other drive through car wash place and I'd be fine, but I paid a pretty penny for this, so I was disappointed. 2 Stars. I'd give this place 3.5 stars if I could, because of my first experience was great, but will be trying other places before trying KP Touch again. read more

I have never paid for car wash/detail or anything, I used KP Touch last week and I will never use anyone else. I have neither washed, rinsed, or vacuumed my 98 Tacoma since 2005. I used it for hauling trash and always had muddy feet when getting in it (it doesn't have floor mats). It had a Seinfeld car-like smell. Got it back, and it was smooth, shiny, good smelling, and clean. Like the guy (James) pulled out his magic wand and went Bibbity, Bobbity Bo and turned my pumpkin into a nice looking truck. Oh - and they deduct the $10 parking fee from their charge. Bring the cash, but know you aren't paying extra (really though, you should pay a guy who washes your car in cash....it's the right thing to do). read more

I'm a big car enthusiast, and I'm very hesitant to hand over the keys to car to anyone. I've never paid for a detailing service, as I've always had a driveway to do my own work. Since I moved to Arlington, I've had the convenience/inconvenience of underground garage parking. I found KP Touch by Googling/Yelping and read the reviews to some skepticism. I trusted what everyone said since they were consistent and gave KP Touch a shot. The guys lived up to the reviews! I got the buff & wax deal. I dropped off the car with them at their location in the NRECA garage. They made me feel comfortable immediately. Trust is the biggest factor when it comes to automotive work! I waited for the call of completion.. a couple hours went by. I estimated the amount of time it would take from my own experience and strolled back down there approaching the 3 hour mark. Perfect timing, just finishing up. I chatted with the guys for a bit during the final touches. The paint looked swirl-free, wheels polished, tires dressed, door jambs spotless, etc. I was very happy with the outcome and would recommend these guys at this value to anyone. The guys were super nice and they did a great job on the interior for about as good a price as I think you could expect to pay around here. They didn't charge me any extra over the base price, even though I had tons of stains, dog hair, coffee spills, mud, etc. all over the car. Don't be deterred by the comments about paying for parking - they take the cost off the bill, and the machine on the way out takes credit cards. It was almost impossible for me to find the place on the way in, though, because I didn't realize it was actually in a parking garage, so that's something to know before you head over. read more

As part of our baby prep, we decided getting our car thoroughly cleaned would be a wise move before putting an infant in it. Mostly, our biggest issue was the massive amount of dog hair that clung to our black cloth interior. Despite weekly vacuums and lots of lint rolling, we never could seem to make a dent in it. I was so shocked when it came back from KP Touch looking brand new- no one would even know we had a dog. On top of this miracle, the guys buffed out a new scratch that someone had given us in a parking lot- without charging us extra. We will definitely be back and can't recommend them enough! read more

Reviews say it all, they're all about customer service. Each person was as friendly as could be, made me feel very comfortable as a customer. I've only had my car for about 5 months now and I was in need of a handwash after a long drive to North Carolina. There were a ton of bugs on my front bumper that were crusted on there. They were definitely not going to come off with one of those mechanical car washes. Seeing that KP touch had such great reviews, I decided to give it a try. I had to do a loop around the block, because there wasn't a sign on the top level, but it is in the garage on Taylor St on level P4. It's $5 for the first hour and $10 daily. However KP touch takes $10 off of your paying price. The only reason as to why I could not give them 5 stars is how long it took. I set up an appointment at 3:30PM and was told to pick up at 6, which is already a long while. When I came at 6, my car was not even started on as they thought my pick up time was 7. So they got to work on it right away and I was out of there by 6:45PM. They did an excellent job though. They did a very meticulous job vacuuming and hosing down the mats (ones I bought to put on top of the car mats the car came with) and also did a great job in polishing the windows and windshield wipers, as well as the exterior of the car. My car was shiny like when I drove it out of the dealership! There were still a few bug spots left however. Customer service is top notch. Everyone there was friendly and very down to earth. They even offered me some pizza that they had ordered for dinner. They have a small waiting area that has wifi and a TV. I did think their music playing in the background was a bit loud. Overall, great experience, I'll be back for more work done to my car in the future. read more

I usually go to Mr. Wash but it was closed, I'm assuming due to the extreme cold. Wouldn't normally come to a place like this based on the prices, but I was very impressed by the level of service and individual attention. I got the $35 hand wash because that's really all I needed. It's twice as much as I usually pay for a car wash, but I feel like I got my money's worth. So, a good (albeit pricier) alternative if you're looking for one. I have had my car detailed a few times since I began transporting dogs in my car, and every other place told me they couldn't get all the dog hair out. Apparently, KP Touch is that much better than all the other places. Richard and the crew left my car looking the best it has in years. Took my Infiniti with black leather here for a wash and they did an amazing job making it look brand new. Only caveat is that they have one person work on your car, so it takes about an hour to an hour and a half. If you can afford to leave your car here for that long, I highly recommend it. read more

I've used them twice so far for exterior hand wash and full interior cleaning. They do an awesome job. I have a 2016 Lexus IS 350 with 3M paint protection film and 10 layers of Ceramic Pro coating. I am very picky about my car, particularly the exterior and preventing swirl marks. These guys did a good job minimizing swirl marks. The exterior was clean and the interior was impressively cleaned...and smelled very fresh (natural clean smell, not artificial scents). I dropped my car off at 8am and they finished by around 3pm. Sometimes, it can be inconvenient to drop off your car for the entire day like that. I wish they had weekend hours or mobile detailing services; I would use them more often if they did. They did a great job on my car. It's a bit dark in the underground garage, but it looked shiny. When I made it out of the garage and into the sunlight, I was very pleased. The only mishap was nearly driving off without my custom floor mats. Thankfully, someone realized just as I was entering my car that they forgot to put them back in. Pricing is between $175 and $250 SUV depending on whether you have them both your vehicle. Everyone on the team are the nicest professionals - shout out to Cyril for his kindness. My dad has been feeding the neighborhood cats for the past year, and leaves the cat food in the car. The odor was so foul. I literally was driving around a freaking cat mobile. Ugh. So, I took it to KP Touch, and they went beyond what I expected. They took the initiative to provide extra services pro bono to ensure that the cat smell was gone. They also did a great job hand-washing my car too. When the staff tried to close the hood, the hood wouldn't close properly. So, Cyril did the right thing, and took it to the dealership to check it out. Long story short, I found out that I have a rusted latch cable, so I declined KP's offer to still help fix it. Their acts of kindness and customer service just blew me away. Looking through other reviews this place must do a great job on the packages that are less expensive. I left feeling extremely disappointed at dropping over $200 to have my car detailed only to leave with wax residue still on the car and a scratch I had to have buffed out of my front bumper later on. This was when they had my car from 8AM until closing, and at closing I had to call them to see if they were ready for me or not. I arrived and they were just finishing the car, leading me to believe they weren't working on it until extremely late in the day (if at all) until I called. They did however remove tree sap from the hood of the car that no regular wash could do, and I'm sure that was no easy task so I thank them for that. read more

I'd give zero stars if that were possible. Contacted KP Touch at 1030 am because my usual detailer was busy, and was thankful KP was able to get me in same day but also get it done before 5pm. Unfortunately that's where the positivity of this experience ends. Dropped the car off at 11am and after picking up my car at 4:30pm, driving out of the parking garage where they're located, I was able to get a better look at their work - it seems the $150 package 3 included several spots of wax still on the car, four wheels covered in tire shine overspray, and a newly broken ac vent. There is nothing better than having to go behind someone you just paid to clean your car and finish the job for them upon calling them immediately about the broken vent, the owner vehemently disputed they broke anything and demanded proof it wasn't broken before. I don't take a bunch of photos of air vents in anticipation a careleas detailer may break them, sorry. The owner refused to take any responsibility for the issue, and seemed to feel leaving the wheels completely coated in tire shine, which made them look terrible, was acceptable. I'll be filining a complaint with the BBB and strongly urge you to not trust this shady company with your vehicle - the work will likely be low quality and you may end up needing to replace parts they broke. read more

I have an old Mazda Miata which has been taking a beating from all the rain we've been having lately. Unfortunately much of that moisture has found its way into various parts of my car and it became necessary to look around for options to get rid of the moisture and clear the damage caused. I looked around places like Groupon and LivingSocial, but wasn't sure who to go with. I checked Yelp and saw KP Touch received really high marks for the work they did and their level of customer service. I emailed them and was able to set up and appointment with little trouble. I took my car in and was told the services I was looking for would take most of the day. I let them know I wasn't worried as I planned to see a couple movies in Ballston Mall and get a massage at Refresh Massage. Right about the time I was ready to jump into my first movie, I received a call from Kenny. He explained that there was a fair amount of water damage and it appeared to be getting through a couple rips in the convertible top. He said he wouldn't recommend getting the kind of detail done I wanted until the top was repaired since the problem would be recurring. I was very appreciative of the call and was amazed that he was willing to fore-go taking my money in favor of doing what he thought was the right thing to do. We talked more about my situation and I informed him that I likely wouldn't be able to get the top repaired right away, but would like to get the existing water/mold/mildew situation taken care of to minimize future damage to both my car and myself. Kenny was in complete agreement with that logic and agreed to proceed with the understanding that should it rain again, moisture would likely reoccur. I was okay with that. Kenny worked on my car himself and made sure everything was taken care of as if it was his own car. When I came back to my car later that day I was thoroughly impressed with the job he did. Not only did Kenny take care of all the water/mold/mildew issues, he offered to keep we liners/floor mats over the weekend to dry/treat. I can't say enough about the quality of service and attention to detail KP Touch offers. Kenny, being one of the owners has decades of detailing experience and it shows. It shows in the level of care he puts into his work, the expectations he has for his staff, and the level of customer care he and his staff provide. My car was an absolute mess and hadn't been detailed in well over a year. My one year olds favorite activity is tossing snacks/ milk around in the back seat ,which left my seats disgusting. KP Touch is awesome. I chose this place based on the reviews and am so happy I did. As others have said, getting down to the P4 level was a bit crazy, but they have decent signage and it's very obvious when you've made it to their area. Customer Service was excellent. The person who greeted me was extremely nice, made sure i had everything I needed, and showed me to the elevator. When I came back, the gentleman taking care of my car was so eager to show me all that he had accomplished. He managed to get rid of coffee stains on my carpet, scratches on the right side of my car, and shined/buffed/waxed/washed the exterior and interior of my 12-year old car until it looked new. You could easily see how proud he was of his work--I really appreciated his efforts. Location. It is in a parking garage two blocks from the Ballston metro. Ideal. You can drop off your car before work and pick up after (which I did), or leave your car to metro elsewhere, go to lunch, shop at the mall, see a movie, etc. Cost. Honestly, I don't know what's low vs. high in this area, but I do think it was worth the price I paid. There were no gimmicks. I selected a package from the brochure and the cost quoted there was the amount I paid. On top of that, they shave off $10 so you can pay for the garage fee. I generously tipped the gentleman who took care of my car--I hope others do as well. They clearly work hard and care a lot about the work they do. Overall, I can't say enough good things about this experience. I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

Wanted to add mine to the list of favorable reviews for this place! It is literally right around the block from me, which was great, and contrary to some of the other reviews, I did not find it particularly difficult to circle the garage down to the fourth level. For the record, I didn't have to pay any parking fees for the garage. One of the staff rode up with me to make sure that I got out of the garage smoothly without paying. I made an appointment for 8am, and it was incredibly easy. Didn't seem like I needed it, as there wasn't any line right at opening time, but they had no trouble finding my reservation all the same. An ability to make appointments online would be nice, but I'd hardly say that's a problem. I had the basic handwash service and they said it would be ready in 2 hours (don't know if it was, I actually waited 4 hours before it was convenient for me to come get it). My car came back in great shape. Clean and dry on the outside; inside nicely vacuumed, parked and waiting for me. I really like the fact that the whole process is a handwash, as I have aftermarket bike rakcs on my roof that really shouldn't be run through a car wash. However, the five stars is really for the great service. I really appreciated how courteous and friendly all the staff were. I'm really happy to give my business to a company that clearly wants it. I plan to go back once a month or so to keep the car in top shape. read more

All I had done was an interior cleaning. I drove down to FL for Christmas with some cats. Needless to say, the car was full of hair! I tried to do it myself but it was not going to happen. The whole process took about 2 hours. They also gave me a complimentary car wash as well! When I got down there, the car was spotless on the inside and outside. They did an amazing job. I am very pleased with KP Touch. I moved to the DC area 6 months ago and was very surprised at the lack of decent car washes here. After going all that time without a wash, I finally found KP Touch on Yelp. When I came back to pick up my car, I was floored over how good it looked. I don't think it looked that good driving it brand new off the dealership lot. You can really tell they put a lot of effort into the details. Everyone there is very friendly.
