After working with three different agents before finding Justin, we can confidently say that he…read moremade all of the difference in finding the right home for our family. He is knowledgable, professional and willing to go the extra mile to support his clients. Justin knows and understands the greater Austin area as well as the intricacies of homebuilding. He is not only able to advise on neighborhoods in the area, but he can also provide insight on how specific homes have been constructed or how they can be improved after purchasing. His knowledge came in handy on several homes we visited and continues to guide us after we closed and consider options for improvements around the house. Justin also specializes in working with veterans and provided us advice on submitting VA loan offers that helped us secure a deal quickly and within the time window our family needed. Without Justin's VA loan-specific advice, we would likely still be looking for a home, as it can be challenging in the Austin market to purchase a home as a VA buyer. Justin went the extra mile in helping our family. Once our offer was accepted and after the inspection, Justin negotiated a lower sales price for our home, saving our family over three thousand dollars. Prior to the deal closing, he helped remove some of the previous owners' belongings to ensure we moved into a clean and empty home. After we closed, he helped us remove some items that were attached to the house from the previous owners too, so even when the deal closed, Justin still made an effort to help our family. I would recommend Justin to anyone looking to purchase a home in the greater Austin area, but I think veterans will especially find his services useful. Justin's knowledge, professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond expectations will serve buyers and sellers well in what is becoming a very challenging market.

Our experience working with Justin was absolutely incredible from day 1. When I first contacted…read moreJustin I was only thinking about making a really big move from California to Austin, TX. Justin spent the time to talk to me about the state of the Austin housing market which at the time was experiencing serious growth and would require a lot from the buyer. Justin gave me realistic expectations. As I navigated finding a new job, over the next couple months, Justin let me know that he was there as a resource but was never pushy or intrusive. When I had everything lined up and ready to go, I contacted Justin again who was ready to go above and beyond to meet our needs. Once we arrived in the area, the housing market had cooled down a little bit and Justin was able to readjust expectations and used the changes in the market in just 2 or so months to formulate his advice. It was nice to see that Justin was on top of trends and used his expertise to help us through the process of home searching and buying. Justin was knowledgeable and showed that he truly did care about our personal and financial interests throughout the entire process. As a first time home buyer, I felt confident with Justin at my side the whole way. Thank you Justin!

We had the…read moreunfortunate experience of 11+ years with this company and are now dealing with $20K+ in repairs due to their lack of management. Properties are barely inspected when tenant's move out and never inspected during the lease. We were constantly requesting pictures of the property and updates on the condition of the property and only getting minimal information and blurry pictures causing damages to go unreimbursed to the owner. Licensed contractors were rarely used causing unsafe conditions for our tenants and we recently discovered overcharges on repairs by their "handymen". They are good about finding renters who consistently pay on time, but the damage to the property due to tenant's lack of basic maintenance required and the management company's refusal to check on the property occasionally during leases has been been very costly. EDITED: Emails to prove that costs were never the main determination on whether to do a repair. SAFETY and necessity were taken into consideration in addition to costs as well as the RECOMMENDATIONS of the management company. Only dealt with Greg if there were issues getting communication with our assigned account manager, which were CONSTANT (again-can prove in emails!).

In…read moreAustin, I've worked with 4 of the city's most prominent investment property specialists and Monte's team is by far and away the best realtor I have worked with anywhere There is no close second. Monte listened to exactly what I was looking for, understood my timelines, investment critieria, what my exit strategy was and came up with a clear concise plan which we have since executed on. He identified specific zip codes that would realize the investment return I wanted and combed those areas for properties. He would video properties whenever possible. Most important of all, he wasn't pushing me towards any property that met me criteria. He vetted every potential property that met my criteria, then added his own knowledge and expertise on the area, the quality of the building, schools, the market in that area, lease pricing in the area, and more. They used all the latest web technologies (video sharing, web collaboration, electronic signatures and more) so that with my limited time, I could be as effective and efficient as possible Beyond that Monte's support team (Becky and Lisa) kept me in the loop on all deliverables, critical dates, docs and worked on my behalf to make everything run smoothly. I've never had such a full service team support me in my efforts to buy properties. We have completed multiple purchases to this point and any future property I purchase in Austin, I wil consider no other firm but the Davis Company.
