I don't normally write reviews, but I'm just so pleased with my experience! We called Christine about 3 weeks ago to discuss selling our current house and buying a new one. It wasn't just that easy though, we started updating our house long ago and just stopped half way through. We had no flooring in our kitchen, our hall bath was ripped apart, the paint was horrible, etc. And to top it all off we didn't have much money to finish it. Christine made it happen anyway! The day after our 1st meeting with her our house was filled with workers finishing our house! It took them about 2 weeks (there was ALOT to do), they did a fantastic job and for a great price. Our house was listed on a Sunday morning, by Sunday evening we had 5 offers and it was under contract 4 days later for 13,000 over our asking price!!! Not only did she handle that, but we also wanted to buy a house, but didn't have the down payment until we sold it and no where to stay after the old house sold and the new one was ready. Well, she found us our dream house and negotiated everything to work out perfectly! This could've been a very difficult and stressful process, but she really did an amazing job and made it so easy! I would recommend her any day to anybody! read more

Initially this rental company was better than the previous owners, but as time has passed, I've come to realize they're absolutely horrendous! My unit had a major mold/leak/structural problem and Texas Urban Realty simply put plywood over the damage. They would not let us out of our lease without losing all deposits. We had to ask the City of Austin to help us. The City did fine the property management company, but could not help us ensure our place is safe to live or seek recourse outside of legal action. They take awhile to respond to service requests and don't seem invested in keeping the property nice for tenants. For example, the shared lawn area doesn't have real grass, only dirt and weeds that aren't mowed until they're tall and overgrown. They also destroyed my personal garden and pulled up plants during an infrequent mowing session. As My fiancé said, that's what we get for trying to invest in the property ourselves. Absolutely infuriating. They stole what little joy we tried to create in our home. read more

I had a great experience working with Texas Urban Realty. They were very professional and made the process of selling a house very enjoyable. The process from top to bottom went very smoothly. When my family and I decided to sell our home in Pflugerville, TX in the summer of 2013, we contacted our agent Christine through a referral. After having a brief conversation with her, we were very confident she was the right agent for us. She was very friendly and also extremely knowledgeable about the housing market and the surrounding areas. Christine met us at our house the next day to access our house and was very straight forward with what we needed to do in order to have a quick sale. She also suggested to list our house higher than what we originally intended to. Needless to say, our house sold in 2 weeks and we were on our way to South Carolina. Thanks Christine and Texas Urban Realty for a great experiencing selling our first house! -Michael Nguyen read more

DISCLOSURE: I did not end up renting from Christine and Texas Urban Realty, but I nonetheless had a positive experience with them. Christine was my point of contact for a unit of interest in Hyde Park, and she proved to be accomodating and helpful in arranging several unit tours and answering questions via text and email. She maintained a positive and friendly demeanor throughout the process, and was willing to offer me a short-term lease (6 months) for a studio, which is a rarity for aparments near UT. I ended up not signing the lease due to circumstances which required a shorter lease term, but nonetheless Christine ensured my security deposit was returned in full. I would recommend this friendly and professional realtor, especially to students looking to live in the Hyde Park area. read more

I haven't worked with many of the others at Texas Urban Realty, but Christine has been a wonderful help. She is extremely responsive, through all outlets: text, phone and email. Our deposit at our place was higher than most, and she gave my roommate and I more than 90% back. Not to mention she was very understanding of me having a pet since I was living on my own the last month of rent. She doesn't simply do good business, but she also listened and understood my needs. Christine also impressed me by the way she handled her responses to my old roommates inconsiderate emails. She had every reason to charge us more than she did, but she worked with us because she is passionate about her work and the way she does it. 5 stars for Christine at Texas Urban Realty! read more

Texas Urban Realty is a fantastic company. I leased with TUR for almost four years and it was a great experience from the beginning. Christine and her staff work tirelessly to make sure properties are kept up with and tenants are happy. If I needed Christine for anything I could call or text her and she would answer or get back with me ASAP. In four years I had so few issues at my property because TUR made sure we were taken care of from the get go and throughout our lease. Thanks Christine! I will never forget how sweet and professional you were! I recommend Texas Urban Realty to anyone who wants to be treated as a valuable individual. Christine and her team really take care of your family. Thanks! read more

We had never had a better landlord than Christine! We lived in one of her properties for two years and we never had problems. Christine and her team were so quick to respond to our emails and texts! She went beyond the landlord part and actually took good care of us. Moving out was very easy, she even took the time and did a pre-final walk through and told us what we could fix or do, so we don't get it deducted. Sad to leave the beautiful house. Great management and very friendly people, highly recommended :) read more

Amazing assistance from Jennifer. I didn't know where to start for looking a rental. Jennifer was so helpful from the application process, do's and don't s, $$$, and being able to work around schedule(which can be hectic). I ended up finding a great place I like and within my price range. A few friends are looking to move to ATX and I have not hesitated to to recommend them to Texas Urban Realty. So glad to have been able to find them and have Jennifer assistance to make this move so much easier!!! read more

Like the house I am in but if anything brakes it is a week plus for any one to come out to fix it. That's if they ever come out at all. I have had nothing but problems since I moved in to this house with Texas urban realty. I have 4 people in my family and we went almost a month with one of our showers broken and that is just one of many things that have happen. I also agree with Todd M. they are dishonest. read more
