Be very careful. Rodney is condescending and does not listen to your needs. Every industry is different and he think's he know best for your business. The biggest issue is after our departure and we fired him he held us in a ridiculous contract that won't let us sign on any properly that he sent us for 6 months. Let me explain...if he sends you a property...from a search you can do yourself on Loopnet.com he will get paid for it. He didn't fight for us. Didn't negotiate anything and even let a space to to another company when we were in compliance of sighing a letter of intent for us to get our business loan. Don't allow him to do the "lengthly" (5 minutues of work) Search for properties that you can do yourself.... it's apparently so strenuous that he deserves to get paid on a property he never called on, showed you or did any work for at all. The entire real estate industry is a joke and that's why it's being used less and less. Stay far away....these 5 star reviews must be friends of his. He was condescending and rude from day one. I want to preface. We are not first time owners. We have multiple locations already and he treated us like we have no clue what we want or know what we are doing. We are a top 100 Company in the US... in our industry. So our opinion matters. Don't sign anything. I'd love to get paid for nothing but sitting at home running a report. read more

They do things a little different and it created some confusion with management fees. Some of it was over my head. I copied Rodney on an email. Rodney is the BEST tenant-rep commercial realtor ever! I have used Rodney on a few occasions, and each time he has gone well above and beyond the call of duty and has always achieved excellent results and great cost savings. After my first 3 year lease for my current location was up (a lease he had negotiated well three years prior), I called Rodney to negotiate a new one or potentially look at other options. I was open to moving, but would prefer to stay if the landlord could make it worth my while. Landlords do not often make concessions on lease renewals, and when they do it might be a month of free rent or some other minor benefit. He was able to negotiate two months of free rent, a significant monthly rental rate drop that saved me thousands during this current lease term, AND renovations in my suite that included moving a wall, replacing some of the carpet and some repainting.
