Let's get right into it. The last time I was here, it happened to be on 9/1/2019 before the events of Covid-19. Tina was my Technician and she did a fantastic job except for the one mishap due to not listening to my request not to wax the genitals with soft honey wax. Nevertheless, more than enough time has passed and I figured I do what Mark Morrison sang about in one of his songs. The Return Of The Mac...oh wait? He didn't just say what I think he said did he? Nope? I guess I didn't, because this bother had about as much success as the Devil who went down to Georgia. I walked into the shop and it was like being in the Doldrums of The Phantom Tollbooth. The energy levels were less exciting than Milli Vanilli in their prime...."Girl you know it's true." Upon signing in, I was greeted by a woman in a white top shirt. Her greeting was half hearted, but not hostile. I was asked what would I like done today and I explained I would like a Mani/Pedi along with Full Legs and Arms Waxed. Ms. White (for name purposes) showed me to the Pedicure Spa Chair. The plastic barrier for the Spa Pedicure was put on before warm water was turned on. The water felt nice on my feet, but that was as much joy as I was going to get. Ms. White stood up and left the spa for a while as my feet were soaking. I did not know it, but obviously something was on her mind and I only realized this after I left this business. A woman dressed in all black walked over to me and said she would be taking over for Ms. White. Umm...okay?! Ms. Black sat down and started the preparations for my pedicure. Before my pedicure treatment comanced, Ms. White return to ask me several times what I wanted waxed. A woman sitting across from me heard Ms. White ask me this question several times. I can only imagine what thoughts were running through her head. Full legs and full arms is what I repeated yet again. It really isn't that hard, but evidently, it was for them. Ms. White then walked away again and another woman showed up. This new woman was dressed in all black too. I would come to know her as Ms. Volatile. Ms. Volatile. politely informed me she would be doing my waxing and that I should come with her. I was a little confused, because I was in the process of getting a pedicure. Then Ms. Volatile explained that products used for the pedicure would interfere with the wax. It was also explained the cost of full legs and arms would cost $200 for men. Drying my legs got up and followed Ms. Volatdumbest. TO BE CONTINUED....

However, this place has better reviews. So, of course, expectations are high. I took a 7 mins walk to the spot, the place is small and cozy. Something about me before I explain why I gave this place 1 star. I never go get my nails done because I feel like it is a waste of money, and I can just do it at home. I also hate gel because of the way it leave my nails looking and feeling after I take them off, and in my personal opinion, I don't think they are good for your nails. Okay, so I have a particular design I wanted to do. But they can only do the design if I do gel, which is cool, I'm not gonna argue and was fine with regular manicure because that is what I asked for. This manicurist was coughing a storm every now and then. She was so aggressive while cutting my cuticles or what I would like to call my "very tender skin", she made me bleed on my right thumb and apologized. Okay, that was fine. Then she made me bleed again on my left thumb and apologized. Like, at this point, I'm running out of non-bleeding thumbs. Lol. Anyways, my thumbs are burning and I just sat there and wish I was done already. Im an introvert, so I hate confrontation. So I took the L, and I'm writing this review because they will never see me again and I want other to be aware. I'm gonna give the nail salon the benefit of the doubt, maybe it was just that lady that is not great at what she does and is inconsiderate. After all, her coworker did tell her to put on the mask to prevent spreading whatever she has. But my manicurist stated that she doesn't want to because she doesn't like the way it feels and that she can't see properly with them on. They took their time and did a great job shaping my nails and getting ride of any hang nails, and painted on quite a few layers. At the end they gave me a hand massage which was nice. This salon is very clean. They use the plastic lining for the where you soak your feet for pedicures and all the tools come out of a plastic bag too which means they sterilize them. They had a Groupon so I got them done for under $30! (If you do decide to go a Groupon coupon don't buy it on there, just show them the link and they will give you that price. They get more money in their pocket because Groupon takes a percentage of their profit.) Definitely will be back!

Very disappointing experience…read more I came in wanting a nail design and was told it could not be done because I arrived 15 minutes late and they had another client booked after me. However, after my appointment ended, I saw the same nail technician take a walk-in client. That made me feel that the explanation I was given was not the real reason my requested design was declined. What bothered me most was the inconsistency. On a previous visit, I arrived on time and still waited nearly 20 minutes to be seen. Apparently, it's acceptable for clients to wait, but if a client is running behind, they lose the ability to choose the service they came in for. The atmosphere was also uncomfortable, and I felt rushed rather than welcomed. Getting your nails done should be an enjoyable and relaxing experience, not one where you feel like you're being pushed through so the next client can be taken. I left feeling frustrated, disappointed, and undervalued as a customer. Based on my experience, I will not be returning. Do not go there !
