A little pricey for my little scoop. My one scoop was a little over $5 but very tasty. The Bremeton Blue flavor was delicious. Kinda reminded me of the subway raspberry cheesecake cookies! I sampled a few others and enjoyed the lemon cookie flavor.

The space is small but they still had a few tables on one side of their shop. The other side is where you order ice cream and actual food. For this trip, we ordered ice cream. We decided on the flight, which was three flavors and was worth the price of $8 because of the amount and it was really good. The flavors we got were chocolate mint (it was minty but not fake minty), banana cream (appreciated that it didn't taste artificial) and some berry vanilla flavor (I forgot what it was called but it was light in flavor). The consistency of the ice cream was smooth and each flavor was nice and light - which I appreciated. And when i say light, the flavors were not overwhelming. We really liked it a lot. Oh and the first topping was free and we got m&m's. The workers were also very nice and knowledgeable about the ice cream. Great place to just sit and enjoy the day. If we were hungry, we would probably have tried their savory items such as their nachos and their pretzels. Overall, we would definitely go back if we were in the area again since it was great value and delicious ice cream.

To be completely honest, I was so disappointed in Baking Wahines in Bremerton since 3 of the 4…read moreitems I purchased seemed like they were 2-3 days old. Both the Long John and Puffer were super old and stale, maybe 1 to 2 days old. Had to toss both of them after one bite. I was told the Gau was made on Tuesday night, which makes it 3 days old now. I even tried putting the items in the microwave (per the owner's advice) for 15 seconds and it still didn't taste good. I've honestly never been told by any bakery to go home and put their donuts and pastries in the microwave ‍ Why would a bakery even sell 1 to 3 day old items? Just donate them to the homeless or something BUT don't sell them for full price to your customers! I mean come on... I even reached out to the owner via Instagram and she came at me with all the excuses saying things like "I am sorry you're not happy with your purchase" and "I really don't know what you would like to do here." No resolution and/or refund was even offered. So disappointed in this place. I really wanted to like it too! Lesson Learned. I will NOT be coming back here.

It's an adorable small shop nestled near the Kitsap Convention Center entrance. The pastries and all the food is made fresh daily! They have the Hawaiian Bentos with spam, and the roll was delicious! The website does a great job of showing many of the product offerings. The pricing is not what I would consider competitive. Matter of fact the pricing was so high, I assumed it included shipping, what I found out was, I was wrong. The short is chocolate offerings were roughly $60 a pound. That is almost double the price of See's and I believe See's makes a quality candy and after trying two products from this seller, even if the candy was half the price, I'd still choose See's. $14 for 4 peanut butter cups is not what I'd call reasonable. I didn't taste anything any different than the Justin's brand that you find at Whole Foods or Metropolitan and 4 oz there would be half as much. As an avid Shark Tank watcher my feedback for this business would be. Do you want low review based on predatory pricing, when you could probably sell 3x as much by lowering your price and having the potential of 3x the people speaking positively about your product. Glad I tried it, but this is a one and done. See's is closer, half the price and ultimately better quality in my opinion.

Everything was labeled nicely with names/flavors but no prices. I realized some were on the wall board. They had nice variety of savory items like quiche, paninis and stuffed brioche. While waiting I used the bathroom quickly, not a good impression walking around down the hall seeing dirty window partitions , rugs, etc.and into lavatory, just a grungy vibe. In my book a dingy bathroom means they don't take pride in cleanliness overall. So feeling a bit underwhelmed I ordered a goat cheese/pesto brioche. They also offer soup which was curry chicken so I had a cup but got and paid for a bowl? I had to ask for my soup to be heated properly, it was good but salty ( and I enjoy salt) full of lentils lacking chicken. As I was eating my soup at the front table I look down at the window sill and notice webs/bugs,just filthy!! I had to force myself to not think about it as I continued with the soup and asked for the brioche Sammy to go. I wanted to address the issue directly with one of the guys at counter but a couple people walked in taking their time. I took a bite a few minutes later my brioche and it did not taste like a pesto goat cheese combo, it was pungent in a bad way with off flavor I couldn't get past, hated to toss out $8 but not good. I was going to take a dessert to go when I was initially ordering but just found the prices a bit much. Now knowing the house keeping is an issue the prices reflect that of a higher end establishment. It's too bad, instead of the staff standing around they should be taking care of helping the appearance and sanitation of their work place. Owner /manager need to care more.
