We found this business at the Puyallup Farmer Market. Unlike many vendors, this place actually had a fully functional website. The website does a great job of showing many of the product offerings. The pricing is not what I would consider competitive. Matter of fact the pricing was so high, I assumed it included shipping, what I found out was, I was wrong. The short is chocolate offerings were roughly $60 a pound. That is almost double the price of See's and I believe See's makes a quality candy and after trying two products from this seller, even if the candy was half the price, I'd still choose See's. $14 for 4 peanut butter cups is not what I'd call reasonable. I didn't taste anything any different than the Justin's brand that you find at Whole Foods or Metropolitan and 4 oz there would be half as much. As an avid Shark Tank watcher my feedback for this business would be. Do you want low review based on predatory pricing, when you could probably sell 3x as much by lowering your price and having the potential of 3x the people speaking positively about your product. Glad I tried it, but this is a one and done. See's is closer, half the price and ultimately better quality in my opinion. read more

If you like strawberries dipped in DARK chocolate, they have them, plus other types. They have chocolate-dipped candied orange peel (arancini) too - my favorite treat. Staff are always polite and helpful, and the treats are fresh and yummy! read more

Cute shop. One staff member seemed cold but the other much more pleasant. In my opinion the chocolates were not my favorite. We had the dark chocolate almond bark, pistachio and cranberry bark, turtles and a few others, but for the price I didn't feel happy with my purchase. Kind of tucked away off one of the main thoroughfares in Bremerton but if you're wanting to satisfy that sweet tooth, it's definitely the leader for that in Kitsap county. Has a bit of a funky "hole in the wall" kind of vibe - not in a bad way, but if you're wanting sterile, clinical like a "pill factory", this IMO isn't it. What it is - is the desserts that I always wanted growing up but couldn't get because this kind of place wasn't there. Amy's is the best chocolate store I've ever visited, no contest! They deserve all the stars; I only wish there were more than 5 stars to award. My GPS got a little confused on directing us there (we ended up in a residential neighborhood above the shop) but once we found it we were so glad we did. We sampled the chocolate-covered strawberry (best I've ever tasted!) and choc-covered caramel apple (amazingly delicious!). We bought boomers and turtles to take home, and they rock! Hands down my go to place for special treats. Caramel apples are hard to find, and we were getting them every time we went to seattle, which wasn't as often as we would like a caramel apple. So, I asked around and everyone mentioned Amy's. I wasn't disappointed! They have so many different caramel apples at any given time. From the classic covered in peanuts, to rocky road covered in all the things! The apples are priced at about $10 each, which I think is about the norm. Their other chocolates seem to be priced a bit high, but not high enough that I would get them for special occasions. The service is always wonderful and they are helpful as can be. read more

Funny story - back in the day my sister used to live in the apartment above Amy's shop. The smell of fresh made truffles, caramels and fudge constantly made it's way upstairs and we've been frequenting Amy's wonderful shop ever since. She offers gourmet caramel apples, individual truffles, brittle, barks and turtles by the pound, chocolate covered strawberries and locally sourced seasonal caramel popcorn during the summer months. Parking can be tricky on a unique small corner but Amy is always in the shop happy to greet and assist customers. They do offer a few small tables inside but I'm usually in and out with my box full of goodies which have 100% become tradition for holidays and special occasions. read more

Was walking around by the water front and saw this pop up at the farmers market and got to try some Carmel apples! They were both sooo good. The first slide is the tsunami Carmel taffy which had taffy on the outside with sea salt flavor. The 2nd slide was the everything nice Carmel apple, it had cinnamon and sugar strips. My most favorite one out of the two was probably the everything nice Carmel, it was sweet, and the cinnamon was a really nice touch. However they were a bit expensive at 12.50 each, which is why I took off a point. But other then that, I highly recommend it!! read more

Y-U-M! I have only been into the shop once, but I've been purchasing goodies from my local farmer's market for a few years. So I can't speak to the shop's physical location, but I can say all of the treats that Amy makes are spectacular! The caramel apples are always fantastic (ask to have it sliced for you, they're so much easier to eat!) and the chocolate covered caramels are a weakness of mine. Especially the hazelnut caramels and blackberry caramels. l also enjoy the peanut butter cups - they have just the right amount of chocolate-to-peanut butter ratio for me (someone who doesn't like peanut butter on its own) and the chocolate is a thick hard coating over a very soft center. So good. I have never tried anything from Amy's that I didn't enjoy. read more

I was craving some chocolate so I went to Amy's based on the Yelp reviews. They had a huge variety to choose from and the young woman working was very helpful with descriptions. I ended up getting the salted caramel (covered in dark chocolate) and the blueberry caramel (covered in milk chocolate). The blueberry caramel was interesting, very strong blueberry flavor. It was good but not my favorite, if you like blueberry this will be a win for you. The salted caramel was amazing. Good texture - gooey but not too much. Good flavor and just the right amount of salt. I went about 30 minutes before closing and there was a woman in there when I arrived, she finished up as I was looking at my options, and there was a woman who arrived as I was paying so it seems to be doing good business. Definitely worth a stop if you're looking for some quality chocolates. Prices were good too, I paid $7 for 4 pieces which is totally reasonable. read more

So it seems I've stumbled upon a mad scientist's lair in Amy's Decadent Chocolates. Came in search of a caramel apple my wife had been craving. The only ingredients I could remember from her description were caramel, apple and possibly cinnamon. I entered to see a pair of visitors and an employee knee deep in her latest project. As I browsed her confections, I noted a bag of Tim's chips in the back. 'Ah,' I thought, 'a fellow connoisseur of sliced potato products.' And then, there they were. Chocolate covered potato chips. I quickly moved on. There's a great deal of chocolate covered fruits, good variety of caramel apples, and a decent selection of local ice creams. Mocha chip looked especially delicious, however, the sight of chocolate covered potato chips made me slightly wary. Upon inspection of the caramel apple menu, there was only one apple with cinnamon on it. So...success! I'm not a dessert expert, so I'm unsure if the prices are fair, but for a pretty big handcrafted caramel apple, it seemed legit. Took awhile for the employee to assist me. Satisfied with my search, I returned home. It turned out to be the right one. So, thanks, Amy's, for only using cinnamon in one of your apples. I'll be back soon to sample that mocha chip ice cream. read more

After destroying another Gyro across the street, my stomach was strangely (as I'm not really big into deserts) something sweet. That's when Amy's Decadent Chocolates beamed at me from across the street. I think I'd been there once, in a drunken stupor, for some coffee a about 2 years ago and didn't really remember much about the place. The store has a great charm about it with the smell of rich chocolate smacking you in the face as you walk in. The selection for the casual desert eater is daunting. So many choices. The lady behind the counter comes up from the back (I think stopping the making of more delicious chocolate to come and help me) and offers me a sample of chocolate covered strawberry. So delicious. I settled on a tasty looking pomegranate truffle that barely made it out the store. I would say I'm kind of hesitant about the prices on chocolate here from a very casual desert eating point of view, but since these are handcrafted I'll say it's more than likely a fair price for them. The coffee prices are fair and the ice cream selection almost swooned me from my truffle selection. Great service as well. I will be visiting again to get my random cravings on. read more

Preferred the various caramel apples over anything else. The candies are pretty to look at but the caramels that got were really hard to bite into. Plus the chocolate shell just didn't taste right. I love the chocolate covered oreos at this place. I've noticed a recent hike in price - probably due in part to rising transportation costs like many other things - but it hasn't been enough to deter me (they use to be $3.50 for a 3 pack of oreos, now they're $4.25 for 3). 've become partial to the creamy, mellow taste of the white chocolate covered oreos. Kinda ho-hum about the chocolate covered caramel. The plain chocolate pieces are really yummy too. The chocolate covered apples are pretty pricey but great to purchase and share with someone else. My mom loves their pecan truffles in milk chocolate or dark chocolate. There are sooo many different things to try here, I can't even name them all; chocolate covered licorice, gummi bears, marshmellows, etc., etc. It's just an all around great establishment! read more

Depending on if you luck out and select recently made chocolates you might end up with something good. The store apparently is a low-traffic location, and after a couple experiences buying candy that was obviously very stale, we gave up paying a premium price for sub-par products. It's okay if you need a sugar-load and your tastebuds are dead, but this isn't the place if you're hoping for the caviar of chocolates. For diabetics, there's not much of a sugar-free choice, and what little there is, you wouldn't want. Well, candy is candy, can't disappoint many by stuffing sugar in their mouths for them, but when you have to drive out of your way for it, it seems there should be something worth the trip that you couldn't get in from a gas station's snack store. read more

I had a sample of one of these chocolates at some kind of fair and it was memorable so I was pleased when I drove by her shop in Bremerton by chance one day. I have two favorites: the dark chocolate pecan turtles and the dark chocolate covered salted caramel squares---I buy the two packs of each. Yes, they are a little more spendy but you get a lot of bang for your buck! Each treat has a very thick layer of chocolate...they have a heafty weight. It takes at least 4 or 5 bites to eat the caramels too. Her caramel is my favorite...thick and chewy with lots of flavor. I buy these just for myself but I often think that they would make wonderful gifts. I THINK a 2 pack is about $7.50. That's a nice amount of money to spend on a hostess gift, stocking stuffer, valentine's day gift, etc. I'm not positive but I think Central Market in Poulsbo may sell Amy's treats as well. read more

This is the place that will satisfy any chocolate craving you could possibly have. I stop in there when I'm in the area just to get a raspberry finger. So when Valentines Day came around, again, there was only one place to go, Amy's! I picked up a small assortment, 6 different, choice, perfect chocolates that I was positive would please my spouse. I love Amy's. I love that they exist, and are here in Bremerton. They probably have the best espresso available in the early morning hours around town. The coffee in this town not being much of a competition, though. But their chocolates are superb, and THAT"S what they do. Why was I talking about coffee? Oh, yeah, because most the coffee sucks in this town. The best coffee I've had have been Amy's and the Hi-Fi. Maybe I should really write more about coffee shops, than bars. Good caramels and homemade marshmallows. Not the best truffles I have ever had. Don't get the ice cream or at least ask if you can taste first. My sister got the mint chocolate chip and it was old and grainy, hence the 3 stars. The guy working there was very nice and help full. There were some really yummy looking different flavored caramel apples which I would like to try. I will go there again for their dark chocolate caramels topped with sea salt but only because it's the only choice I have on this side of the water. read more

So dissappointed. I went here after reading all of the excellent reviews and bought three different flavors of fudges for stocking stuffers. Each was grainy and it was apparent that something had gone wrong in the making of these fudges or if this is how they do it all of the time, the people buying them do not realize the fudge should be creamy and not grainy. I had previously bought excellent CREAMY fudge in port orchard so I know something was not right with this stuff. Will not be back for more of this, although some of the chocolates were nice. I like their stuff but its a little overpriced for a place in Bremerton, let alone the location in Bremerton. Sometimes the people there seem a little stuffy but I have been there several times and havent had bad chocolate. read more
