We got the matcha mochi one. I like the croffle but I didn't like the matcha cream/mochi at first bite. Like other reviews mentioned, the matcha cream was pretty bland but I finally tasted the matcha near the end. If the whole cream tasted like it was supposed to, it would be good. The mochi had too much powder for me and the taste didn't match the croffles or cream. It took some time for me to like the croffle. If I didn't have to finish it, I would be good with just a few bites. Also, you should eat it right away or else the croffle will get hard. read more

We found this dessert spot on Uber Eats and we were intrigued. I like waffles. I like croissants. When you put them together and add toppings, that's even better! Delivery was super convenient to our doorstep! Croffles are croissant dough pressed into a waffle maker but with a sweet crunch as it carmelizes the outside shell. It's stiffer/firmer than you'd expect from a regular waffle, almost crunchy. Reminds me of a Belgium Leige waffle on the outside and super flaky on the inside! Super good! Churro Croffle - croffle tossed in cinnamon & sugar - YUM!! It was like a regular churro! This was one of may fave flavors and tastes just like a churro with a great crunch! This came in 10 bite sized pieces instead of a whole croffle. Strawberry Croffle - croffle topped with fresh strawberries, cream and powdered sugar - my other favorite! The cream was delicious and a generous portion, strawberries were sweet and tart. This was the least sweet of the bunch. Banana Split Croffle - croffle topped with cream, chocolate sauce, and bruleed fresh banana slices - this was good! Tiramisu Croffle - croffle topped with tiramisu cream, cinnamon and shaved chocolate - another yum! Matcha Croffle - croffle topped with matcha cream and mochi pieces - this great too! Not great. Had the matcha and taro one. This isn't dessert, it's more savory...or wait.. is it? The cream on top is a type of the light cheese cream, similar to the cheese cream in boba shops- it's not any sweet cream. The flavor to be explained is very neutral, flavorless, not sweet at all. I like less sweet dessert, but really it's very bland. Keyword, bland. Whoever told the the owners this was good food were clearly being nice. I am very doubtful of all the food getting put out... is there anyone tasting this? I am very disappointed with the overall lack of everything. The waffle itself isn't bad, but it's not great either. For a dish that would have a less sweet top, you would think the waffle would be sweet... nope. I can barely taste matcha and I definitely can't taste the taro. The thing is if you want to balance a cheese cream component you have to know how to balance the flavor so it's not shadowed by the cheese component. Seeing it was pork sung and taro- I expected a deep sweet taro to balance the saltier pork sung. But I instead got something that was not pleasing. First issue is even with the lack of taro and sweetness flavor, the pork sung was also bland. The second issue is the cheese isn't even strong neither. It's a bewilderment of disappointment throughout this dish. It's just a totally poorly balanced dish, if any. Or rather... it's a perfectly bland dish. I would definitely second guess the yelpers giving this a 5 star. They need a rejuvenation of recipe for toppings or I don't see a future for this food truck. I recommend the owners go to A La Waffle in Los Alamitos and really taste what good waffle dessert is. When people see this, they want dessert... not whatever this is... lost in the realm of struggling to find out if they're a dessert or savory dish. read more

After that, I have ordered from them many times. My fav ones is matcha, especially the mochi on topping gives me a soft and sticky taste.
