Best Korean restaurant in town! Incredible ambience, delicious food, and overall a very traditional dine-in experience.

Seoul Kitchen serves a variety of Korean foods and since there are many things I cannot order as I have limits for digestion reasons, so no garlic or extreme salt. Hard to do these days but I found a tasty lunch anyway. Staff was friendly and helpful and since wiring alone with so many pots cooking he has a bell on the counter. As I was there today earlier than most students eat lunch, I found a table easily and it was quieter than in the past. An item I could eat easily was the Kimpop ( as they spell it) though the order was larger than I expected it was tasty, full of veggies and a little meat, some egg and many pickled bits. It was a bit on the sweet side as some pickles rely on sugar more than acid . A little more tang would have been nice. The Jasmine tea was also sweet, a poor choice by me though. But overall it was a satisfying lunch at an excellent price and I brought home enough for a snack for my husband when he gets back from Denver. We will try a hit and heartier meal to share next time. Students really need the large portions more than we do.

Bibimbap 6/10. Idk I was expecting more flavor and i also expected to meet to be bulgogi flavored. Wasn't the best but wasn't gen worst. I feel like it needed if everything. More veggies more flavor. One thing i have noticed that I think Boulder county does cater lots to the demographic and don't see much authenticity with Asian food but again I am from an area with genuine authentic Asian food. Really don't know about the service but that will be based in personal experience from people. Can't say much. Seating area and place can't say much since I didn't visit it but I believe there is pics of how the area is :)). Overall, maybe this is good for the standards here but to me it was mehhhhh.

The difficulties with are in my previous reviews. Now much of the facility has been torn down and the ongoing construction of the space to be city staff offices and the bigger space to be affordable housing had become impractical to use or eat at the restaurant. The noise was deafening. In January they moved to a food court on the Hill. This is a lower level of a building with other tenants. There are about 6 food kitchens and each time I have been here this summer and fall, this is the busiest at lunch. Since the seating is communal there is always space and it is clean. The staff here have been really nice. If I'm preparing a meal at home or supplementing leftovers, I have stopped by to get a fave vegetable, baby bok choy, steamed and seasoned and at an affordable side dish price. Today my husband and I walked down for lunch and ordered the Tuesday special street crepes some of the owners have continued from the long gone first owners from Beijing. As with other succeeding owners, they too have continued to use lettuce rather than the bok choy in the crepe. It also has some ham, scallions and crispy wonton bits and a nice spread of hoisin. It is topped with a sprinkle of black sesame seeds that I love. Another difference from the original is that the ingredients of the crepe itself are not well mixed together so many large patches of separate egg white and yolk makes it harder to hold together and not as pretty. But it tastes just fine but original years ago was addicting. I will continue to come here try more of the food from the current owner. I love beef noodles and have 2 other places I can get a good version but this is the most walkable for me. They do very nice prep for takeout which is good too. At lunch it is busy with CU affiliated students, staff and faculty alike. Every item I have had at Flower Pepper is hand made and prepared for the customer.

We finally made it in on a Saturday for lunch this past weekend and I can honestly say I'm glad we did! A cup of peace is marketed as a Korean place; I'm not overly familiar with Korean food, but their menu seemed to have a fairly diverse selection of items that aren't necessarily specific to Korea - like the curry, burrito, and other items. It seems they all have some type of Korean flair or flavor profile, though. Totally not discounting that. I may be overthinking things lol. Anyway, there was only one other table occupied in the small dining area, but we did see a couple people stop in to pick up to-go orders. The decor is simple, but cute and the ambiance of the place is laid back. It's a perfect spot to grab a quick lunch, and is very easily accessible off of Arapahoe. There's a decent amount of parking out front, but it may get a little crowded if multiple cars are maneuvering to get out of the lot at the same time. I decided on the curry and my friend went with the bulgogi, which seemed like two solid choices for a cool afternoon. It didn't take much time at all for our meals to get to the counter, and the presentation was so nice! There was steam coming from both dishes, and they both looked super tasty. We sat at a table by the window and dug in immediately. The flavors were excellent, and the spice level was perfect; my friend ended up getting his on the spicier side too, and he said it tasted great; not too spicy and all the flavors of the meal came through. For the two of us, lunch was about $35 (with no drinks), which wasn't too bad considering portion sizes. The quality of the food is very good, and the ingredients all looked and tasted very fresh. I'd definitely stop in again sometime soon to check out the other dishes they have available! There is also a list of specialty drinks that would be cool to try out. If you find yourself in the area, I would recommend!

Boulder does not have any authentic Asian restaurants and if you understand that and try the food assuming that it is fusion food ... Not wanting to make the drive to Aurora for Korean food we dined here and all 3 of us were disappointed. The flavor profiles are so off for Korean food and the visuals are disappointing as well.

I could have ate 2 bowls of the salmon. Everything is nicely sized but a good size to not get too full to order more. We chose to order at the register and the employee was very friendly and explained the whole Motomaki process, which we appreciated. The process on how-it-works is located on the wall, but we both prefer in-person customer service. We ordered three rolls and one fountain drink for a total of $57 with tax.... I thought that was high for what we got. The service was fast and the ingredients were fresh. I'm glad I got the sauce on the side. My husband didn't care for the rolls because he said the seaweed was too fishy and he described them as "seaweed burritos". The rolls fell apart after we took off the aluminum foil. Also, just an FYI: three rolls were too many and we both would have been fine with one each but now we know for next time. The happy hour $3 off from 2-5 p.m. is a great deal and brought my filling bowl down to $15.75. My order wasn't accurate -- I had to go up to the counter to ask for missing items that I had paid to add (edamame and a side of jalapeño aioli), but I was given them without a fuss. Everything was delicious and portion sizes were generous. I'd love to come back next time I'm in the area.

As we started to eat our pork gyoza and Ebi shumai we saw a lit candle in some food being carried across the room. Having eaten here baby times over the year, we were surprised as we had never seen this here. The entire restaurant broke in singing happy birthday to someone too far for us to see. As a server was passing our table, I mentioned we were celebrating my husband's birthday too. He said meh!d let someone know. As we were waiting for our dessert later, the owner who we've met before , with one of the servers who was carrying an ice cream mochi with a flaming birthday candle arrived and placed it in front of my husband and all the patrons broke out in sing again!
