After one visit, I'm recommending Peko Peko! This stall focuses on ramen, temaki, and donburi. Say less. Like I said, I was fixated on ramen and ramen only. My wife had temaki that she enjoyed. The broth varietals sounded interesting, but spicy miso was calling my name loud and clear. Karamiso (Spicy Miso) // chashu pork belly, seasonal vegetable, scallions, red pickled ginger, and sesame seeds. This was a 5-star bowl of ramen. The broth had depth and a slight warming heat. The noodles were cooked perfectly and had the texture I like in my ramen. But holy hell, the chashu pork belly was DYNAMITE. This was seriously one big bowl of deliciousness. Originally when I was writing this review I was planning to give 4 stars. But I'm upping it to 5 because I have no notes from my food. It was truly excellent. Check them out at Avanti next time you're in Boulder!

The Japanese whiskey and cognac balance well with some wild flavors provided by a lovely Amaro (Cardamaro) and Saffron-Plum bitters. He made a copy for us to take home and one for nh husband to sign which will go up on some wall I had never noticed. We'll be sure to check in the walk the next time we are in. They also had a lot of options that weren't sushi like ramen, salad, rice dishes, okonomiyaki, and more. Definitely some menu items you can't get at any Japanese restaurant. I would definitely recommend coming here.
