Stayed at the resort and the photos online look better than the resort in person. The resort is clean and the staff in friendly. But, the one dining option is a bummer. The only food that was good was the fried fish at lunch. Otherwise, the food is terrible. There is an overflow of cocktails. And they have complementary bikes for you to use at your leisure. The pool is nice nothing fantastic. And there is hardly a beach. The resort is a basin resort.

We reserved everything through Expedia for our first class flights and resort stay at Kore Tulum. We have never been to Tulum, MX but many people have said so many great things about it. When we landed and made it out of the airport we found our private shuttle we booked online through Expedia, which is completely worth it. It is about 1.5 from the Cancun airport. They sanitized our luggage before putting in the van. When we got to the resort till we left we had 5 star service. Everyone was very helpful, kind, and just wanted us to have a great time. Check in was easy, WiFi is strong where we could make some FaceTime calls as well. They also offer a complimentary welcome drink which is so refreshing. We booked a honeymoon suit. Everything looked amazing. We got beautiful animals made out of towels, champagne, and some dessert. The hot tub was also in the room. We didn't use it because it looked old. I didn't feel comfortable using it. Our water in the shower wasn't the warmest. We called to have it fixed it. They tried but didn't help much. Food and drinks would be the category that really needs some help in my opinion. Most of the food was sub par. Nothing we ate had the wow affect. The only I can say that was beyond amazing was a dessert that had passion fruit. It was like a cream puff without the cream. I had 3 orders so delicious. Breakfast and lunch menu was the same every day. The dinner menu changed every night. Our disappointment came when it was Mexican night but they didn't serve tacos. You can't come to Mexico and not try the tacos! We got the all exclusive package. The drinks were very weak barely any alcohol. What we needed doing is tipping more and than we got the good stuff and better drinks. Anytime we left the resort the lobby staff was extremely helpful and kind. They offer free bicycles. We took them to the ruins and beach. The staff all had face masks on. The food staff all had hair nets, face mask, and shields on in 100 degree heat. Felt really bad for them. We felt like we had the resort to ourselves many of the times because it was so empty. We kind of liked that. The pool table is extremely old and doesn't really work, but still fun to use. Lastly, the spa! We booked a couples massage. It was 5 star all around. One of our highlights. I have had plenty of massages in my life time and by far too massage. If the food and drinks were better I would give 5 stars.

Had a phenomenal time here at Kore. From the welcome cocktail, to the top notch security everything was fantastic. Sergio, the bartender at the bar by the lobby was our absolute FAVORITE. There were a few complaints such as feeling a little rushed to order our meals, and a few of the women staff not being the friendliest but the rest was lovely. Pools felt great, staff was very accommodating. The food like all places had some good plates and others which were not so favorable. Overall I would return to this establishment. But a heads up there is no beach access here, was not a big turn off for us since the beach is close by.

Chilaquiles, nothing amazing. Lacking flavor. Mimosa was amazing because I made it myself

Stayed 7 days at this all inclusive resort. It was ok in the beginning. Alcohol sucked though... totally watered down. Food was ok. Bed was horrible!! if you're looking for comfort, don't stay here! The views are breathtaking! Just beautiful!!! Housekeeping?? What's that?!?! My BF and I would usually leave our room fairly early and get back at about 5p. On a few occasions, our room was not cleaned. A pair of my sandals mysteriously disappeared from the room. I would not recommend this place nor would I stay here again.

Very nice all-inclusive! Staff are super helpful and always friendly! Loved the pool area and the amazing ocean views! Our room was large, clean and centrally located snd close to all the amenities! Food here was delicious and menu was rotated so something new to try every day! Location is ideal for all the local excursions...Tulum ruins, snorkeling, shopping at the central plaza, etc. Loved all the landscaping on the property and the breathtaking views from the cabanas. Would definitely go back!

I've called this place home for the last 6 days and was honestly sad to leave. We spent a lot of time at the resort (almost every meal), we loved our room, LOVED the wait staff who just go above and beyond for every guest. I really hope this review is seen by their bosses because they truly are phenomenal.  I hope they realize that.  Most of the meals downstairs for breakfast/dinner is buffet style but there are things you can order that aren't.  Just ask your server :).  We never went without drinks. Our empty plates never sat longer than 1-2 minuttes. They were so attentive to us! The dinner menu at the downstairs restaurant changes daily so it's not the same thing every day. The food wasn't the best food I've had in my life but it wasn't the worst. I'd probably rate that part a 3 out of 5. I thought the dinner on the sand one night followed by a dancing show was a neat experience.  We also had seen another show one other night we were there. Both were cool! We only went to the upstairs restaurant once. The menu wasn't as appealing to our group of 11. Also, menu food takes a bit long. As far as the room, I guess the only 2 things I didn't like is that there isn't an outlet by the bed and the bed is firm. The pillows were soft though so I was still able to sleep. They provide everything.  Even a shaving kit, toothbrush and toothpaste! Those are things I don't usually see at hotels. They gave the usual shampoo, conditioner,  body lotion, soap and shower cap as well. The room has a blow dryer, plenty of towels,  robes and slippers! I was surprised to see a scale in the bathroom. (I personally didn't care to see my weight on vaca after eating buffets! Ha). Room service is included in the all inclusive! That was nice! The resort provides beach cruisers which was a nice and easy 13 minutte ride to the Tulum ruins. Make sure you lock the bike up though or it's  $250 USD if something happens to it. I assure the bike isn't worth even half of that.  They're pretty old and rusted but they ride ok.  They will give you a lock to lock it up. The resort does not provide Wi-Fi and it's pretty expensive IMO per day.  I did find that to be silly. It doesn't have a beach access which is kind of a bummer. Closest beach access is prob a 7 or 8 minutte bike ride. They have a sand area with beach beds though.  And a small opening to the water but it was taped off. Hammock area was nice. 2 of the 4 hot tubs worked. The other were either cold or warm- not hot. I did try the hot tub in our room. The outdoor ones get dirty from trees but the cleaners cleaned it. I couldn't drain mine though. As for Security, we felt pretty safe.  It's gated and guarded 24/7. Nobody enters without guard letting them in and confirming what room # they're in and that they have bracelet. We are asked every time we came in and left. They also will flag down a taxi for us. The resorts front will break down larger bills for you. We appreciated that. Made it easier for us to tip. We also arrived way early for check in and they gave us bracelets to go eat lunch till our rooms were ready. They held on to our luggage for us. They also let us check in early after we ate and we were not charged extra. This  was awesome! One thing we were worried about since we knew we would get there too early. Plus we were hungry! At check out,  they gave us a voucher to stay longer and eat after we checked out and wait for our ride.  Like I said, staff was SO very good to us! ALL of us thought so. I didn't take advantage of the fitness classes or gym. I should have with all the eating! They looked good though.

stop ...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! do not book this resort ever...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is the worst resort i have ever in my life experienced...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the service is dispicable and the resorts is literally collapsing around your eyes with ceiling and roofs caving in waiting to kill someone below, electrical outlets all around the pool hanging out with the their wires exposed waiting to electrocute someone, the food isn't for human consumption..!!! the steak i got was all grizzle and beyond chewable, they serve soggy droopy french toast and pancakes at breakfast but they have no syrup..!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that's like buying a car without the wheels..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! david the desk clerk is the most disrespectable little bastard you have ever encountered and needs a good ass beating..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! all the people that work there are disgruntled because the management treats them like garbage... a few we spoke to hadn't been paid in 3 to weeks and couldn't afford food or to get a haircut it's that bad..!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have endless photos to prove all my claims...... the gym is beyond disgusting..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! all the machines are broken, the ceiling caving in and lead paint hanging off the ceiling, mold everywhere and the mirrors so ancient they look like they are from the 1800's.... hair dryer in room falling off the wall with its support bracket, massive patch in the ceiling in the bathroom from a leak above, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc i wouldn't tell my worst enemy to stay here...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this place needs to be leveled to the ground..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! poolside beds with no sheets or drapes on them and all the wood peeling ...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this place an an absolute disgusting shit hole and the company who is promoting that this place is a 4.8 start resort also needs to be put out of business...!!!!!!!!!!!!!! beware of traveluro.com...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! do not use them ever..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved it! The staff are Superb! Jose at the front desk and Jesus at the pool bar were amazing! Everyone is for the most part are. Please remember to tip. I seen so many people not tipping but wondering why they were not getting drinks as fast or the hood stuff. These people live off tips.

The concierge service was helpful they were able to call restaurant and cabs for us. The location of Mi Amor was also great, not that far from tulum ruins. We were also able to walk to the beach within 5 minutes. Food and service were excellent. We ate breakfast basically every morning at the hotel and we enjoyed everything from the pancakes, granola, oat, avocado toast, teas, and coffees. For lunch and dinner we ate at Mezzanine, casa Maria, and also went outside of the national park down by the hotel zone. Enjoy the breakfast (and entire menu!) here as the food is best of all of tulum.

We were given the information about the property and all the amenities as well as given a tour and then shown to our room, typically when you first arrive, they perform a greeting cleanse to, clear energy, set your vibe and give you a little taste of the beautiful Mayan cultural traditions. Unfortunately, when we were shown over to the location where they perform the energy cleanse no one was there so they said we'd have to come back the next day which never ended up happening. Finally, moments before we were checking out we asked if it was possible just to see what the experience was like before we left. That part was actually really good, especially after our experience staying here for six days, which will make sense by the end of this review. When we checked in, it was already dark out but the design and lighting as well as the bio inspired architecture which fuses art in nature was pretty cool to see. They only give you one key for your room for some odd reason, it was a little inconvenient because it meant that me and my wife had to be together at all moments and couldn't explore or do services separately without the hassle of having to meet up to share the key, or the other option is to go walk all the way to the front desk, which, although the walk is beautiful, the design of the floor is made out of a bunch of branches for the walkway and is very difficult to navigate, especially at night so walking turned out to be more of a hassle, but that's just me being nit-picky. The other option is you can reach out to your concierge and then they can send someone which means you're waiting sometimes 5 to 10 minutes, again very small minor inconveniences but nonetheless adds up when staying there for six days. It definitely has an effect on the overall appeal and serenity that one would expect from a place like this. The room itself had two very small shelf like closets definitely not enough hangers or space to accommodate both of our very limited wardrobe that we brought. I had to put 2 to 3 shirts on one hanger and hang the pants inside and that's literally all I brought other than T-shirts and socks and underwear and one pair of nice shoes I literally packed very minimal and still didn't have enough space... again very small inconvenience but nonetheless 20 different small inconveniences all fused together to make one kind of annoying overall experience. Now I can say that I have mixed feelings about the minimal electricity and necessity to use tea candles for our lighting, but I respect the sustainability aspect of it and it did make very nice environment and mood. The only downside is they tell you that you don't blow the candles out and you can leave them on overnight and we had one explode right next to our heads and over all of our bathroom essentials. The shower is right in the middle there's no protection for water so it gets all over the floor, I nearly slipped a few times because of it. Probably sounds nit picky, but these are things I believe make it or break it for places like this. We experienced some type of mishap daily. We ordered hot water and they brought a dirty used coffee pot. They left the dirty brush in the toilet area. Didn't pick it up until the following day. Asked us if we could place it outside the door. Took forever to bring blankets. They got maybe 8/10 requests wrong and charged us for some and denied that, so wasn't able to get a refund. wasn't much, but principally speaking it's horrible feeling in the midst of many things going wrong. Atmosphere - 90% (small weird sewage smell almost everywhere except the room) Vibe - 80% Cost - 75% should be more enjoyable for the price imo... i dont mind paying extra for experience when its on point Food - 60% (first meal, room-service, was incredible {and cost matched that} every other meal on property lacked in all ways except the sushi which we enjoyed as a snack before going to dinner off site. Really over priced in general but the experience and design makes it palatable. Service - 2 stars overall (except for our concierge who had to deal with her associates lack of professionalism and incredible number of mistakes made each day). Location/architecture,view - 100 (If it wasn't for the sound of the ocean slapping the rocks below our balcony and the sound of the waves soothing us at night, waking up to the most amazing view from bed facing the ocean and the sunrise and also the sunsets each night with a great breeze and insane temperatures than this trip would probably have been all bad. My suggestion. Book 1-2 nights for the location and view then find a better spot elsewhere.

There are no concierge reliably onsite. You are given a WhatsApp number to text and sometimes they can be very slow to respond. First issue I ran into was the concierge's lack of punctuality and poor communication regarding bike rentals. She promised a bike at 8am but 15 mins before the agreed upon time texted me that she could not follow through. I agreed to wait until 10 but was delayed a second time until 11. The second delay was not even communicated to me without my prompting. See chat screenshots. The main issue was my balcony was flooded by careless guests upstairs who left their outdoor tub running (see pic). I was splashed and had to change. My phone also got wet and I could not charge it for the rest of the night until it dried. I could have had other valuables such as electronics out that could have been irreparably damaged and I could not use either loungers, which were soaking wet for the rest of the day/night. The water ran for 10 mins before hotel staff could stop it. No one came to clean my balcony. However, most disappointing was the concierge's refusal to take accountability for the incident (again, see screenshots). I would have been happy with a complementary margarita but instead was completely dismissed. I asked to speak to a manager on site and was told there were none. I asked for an email address or phone number and was given only the reservation email address. I detailed my experience in an email and waited 2 weeks before righting this review. No one replied. It is my experience that guests' conduct at the hotel is within the control and part of the hotel's responsibility and that top tier hospitality establishments, which I had assumed Azulik to be, value customer satisfaction and have accountability. I was sadly wrong.

The room had a king bed, two twin pullouts, a small dining table, and a bright, spa-like bathroom with 2 rain showers, dual sinks, and a separate toilet room. The private deck and plunge pool faced the ocean and beach with an unobstructed sunrise view. If we wanted it heated like a hot tub, we'd message the concierge on WhatsApp and they'd turn it on almost instantly. Service was thoughtful and seamless. Check-in was easy, communication was clear, and every night we received pastries and a thermos of tea in different flavors like lemongrass and hibiscus as a surprise treat. On arrival, the adults were welcomed with margaritas and our kids with pineapple juice. Housekeeping was meticulous, right down to straightening our shoes. Beach towels and cover ups were in the room and beachside food and drink service made it easy to spend all day by the ocean. First off, Service -…read morethis was actually one of the more affordable beach zone hotels, but compared to the other Colibri hotels we visited, the service here was better and exemplary. In particular, the front desk person Gilberto was such a star, functioning like a personal concierge during our entire stay. He catered to our every need, going above and beyond, even walking out to the street to talk to taxis for us. As a small business owner, I know good employees, and Gilberto is an MVP, but the entire staff was terrific and reflected the same attention to hospitality and detail that rivals what we experienced in fine hotels in Thailand. The hotel property is quaint, with all units facing the beach. This hotel is on a secluded stretch of the hotel zone, so you do have to walk about 10-15 minutes to get to other hotels, shopping, and restaurant, if you don't want to pay for the pricey taxi's in the area. Of course, there are pluses and minuses with this, but we were ok with it, and enjoyed the quiet non-party atmosphere. The beachfront is a little inlet bay and there is a beautiful sand beach, but there are alot of rocks in the water, so it doesn't make for good swimming, but if you walk down the beach to the right about 5 minutes you get to a really nice swimming beach that stretches for miles and was as good or better than Playa Paraiso. Also on one side of the inlet is a mound of volcanic rock that was popular for viewing sunrises and sunsets. Food here was really good. We ate included breakfast every morning, and had a lunch and dinner here. You can ask them to prepare even off menu items, like whole fried fish at the best price I could find anywhere in Tulum. Octopus was a standout too. Cocktails were average for Tulum's high cocktail standards. There were nice touches like fresh coffee brought to your room every single morning, and tea and chocolates waiting in your room every morning. Total surprise was a gift addressed to every member of our party under the lobby tree on Christmas morning. The gifts weren't of the dollar store variety either. They were quite nice arts and crafts.
