They open at 7:30 AM on the dot. The staff was already hard at work baking and prepping drinks. I like stopping by when they open to grab something before work (plus the meter parking outside doesn't start until 8:30 AM, though there is no parking between 8:00 AM - 8:30 AM). Be aware that they only have the croissant products this early. The full pastry menu is available after 9 AM. They have signature pastries and drinks, and then seasonal pastries and drinks. This time around, I opted for a Spam and Cheese Pan Suisse, and their seasonal (Spring) Lychee Matcha Americano. For non seasonal drinks, I enjoy their Pandan Matcha. Their croissants are airy and crisp. The toppings/fillings are evenly spaced and flavorful. The Spam & Cheese Pan Suisse had a nice bit of kick. The Lychee Matcha Americano (no actual espresso, just the style with matcha instead of espresso) was lychee forward. The lychee jelly is cute, though not as much lychee flavor as the drink. They are a little pricey, but worth it as a treat here and there. They are all baked daily and in house (you can see them working in the back through the glass windows).
I cannot begin to explain how much I've been wanting to try this place. The first time I went, the selection was very minimal so I didn't want to make a judgement on whether or not I liked it. Then the second and third time I tried to go, it was unfortunately closed. But this time, not only was it open but the still had a huge selection of pastries to choose from. I was in love with these pastries but just to point out a couple of favorites. My absolute favorite was the ube donut. It was perfectly lightly sweet and the bread was nice and fluffy. My second favorite was the leche flan donut. I have been seeing this donut everywhere and it is definitely worth the hype (it only took second place because it was a little sweeter than I would've liked). The for the cookies, my absolute favorite was The Goddess. It had such a nice chewy texture and also was not too sweet. There was only one pastry I did not like but it might just be a personal thing. There was a rhubarb donut which was weirdly savory and bitter. It was very pretty and the idea was super interesting and on top of this, the donut itself was extremely soft but I couldn't get over the flavor. The service was really nice. I couldn't make it to the shop myself but the counter staff helped my fiancé with choosing a couple of pastries that they thought I might like.
Finally got a chance to try this Filipino bakery that's been all hype for years now. I was never able to get any of their baked goods when they were an online only business. It's nice that they decided to open a brick and mortar. The space is very well appointed with tons of options as well as seating to enjoy your goods. I decided to get the calimasi doughnut as well as the Ube cookie. Both were delicious and price point was to be expected given the uniqueness of the flavors. This is definitely not something that I would buy every day but as a once in a while, treat if i wanted to get something different. I guess my only qualm is that this bakery just does not fit the character of the Neighbourhood at all. This part of Sunnyside is very much working class and a boutique bakery just seems out of place and not in line with what most people can afford in the area. The space feels like it belongs more in Soho or the village or even LIC.
The inside is very pretty. It is very clean and modern. There is nice lighting and plenty of seating. It does look a bit out of place from Sunnyside honestly. We got two desserts. The flan and ube donut. The flan was very good and sweet. The ube looked good and filling too. We would love to come back to try more sweets with more friends. The workers were helpful in providing recommendations. This is a great place to stop by with friends to catch up. There is also a bathroom.
I'm kinda super late to the game and to be fair this review is from donuts on their winter menu. If I have to summarize how I feel about Kora-- they're delicious but in my opinions while they are VERY creative with new items each season, the classics really do reign best. The flan donut and ube were amazing (especially the flan but I'm biased). The honorable mention was the pomegranate cheesecake danish which was a crowd favorite. The Manila cream was as it might look a sort of elegant Boston cream.. which I don't like so I want particularly favorable of that one but if you like cream donuts you find yourself right at home. I would recommend Kora to anyone who loves to try new flavors and wants to explore Filipino flavors in a classic dessert we love so much, donuts. Unfortunately I wasn't able to try more flavors like their crullers and savory pastries which I'll be back for for sure! It's not the cheapest bite but standard for this economy today. Aside from the donuts, I didn't really find the pandan matcha all that exciting. Not strong matcha flavor, could sense the pandan but overall it didn't add much to my experience. The aesthetic is cute and inviting inside though I didn't stay in but took the donuts to go. If you have some time and find yourself in sunnyside definitely stop by as the staff and workers are so sweet and kind and truly are bringing quality unique flavors to the dessert world nyc!
Such an amazing spot! Have been dying to come here as I love Asian food and donuts- so this is the perfect spot. Tried 2 donuts and no line which was nice. Space is overall large and was no seating at first but slowly opened up. For donuts- went with ube and flan.. both amazing. Have not tried anything like it and you can taste the quality- really a must try and recommend strongly
On my NYC bakery crawl, this was my 6th and final stop! My second visit to the lovely Kora. I was so excited to grab some pastries and share with friends this time as we flew up for some shows (but mainly to eat, lets be serious here). Kora is just an absolute delight. A bright space with large windows in the front as well as windows to their kitchen, it feels warm and welcoming. They have perfected blending art with flavor and we all get to be the recipients of that. Filipino-inspired, I love these flavors. Being in Nashville, we unfortunately don't have a bakery like this so Kora is a must when I'm in NYC and can make it to Sunnyside. The staff is kind and patient and let's you take your time to choose your pastries. And they are all so beautiful and delicious looking, you will probably need a few moments! It never hurts to look at their instagram to do a little pre-investigation. On this trip, I chose 6 pastries as well as some of their ube and coconut cookies (which are delicious). For pastries I got: cranberry, guava & white chocolate brioche; manila cream fried brioche; ube babka swirl; ube brioche; ensaymada croissant; and salted egg brioche. My recommendation to you? Try everything. You won't be sorry.
Kora, Spring Offering At the Fil-Am owned and Philippine -inspired pastry shop in Sunnyside, Queens --- the flower arrangement's color scheme is reminiscent of ube, pandan, langka and Pinoy kakanin. We came in at 10ish am and by the time we were done tasting five different new donut flavors, around 45 mins later, the line stretched outside. I absolutely loved the new salted egg babka-donut and the calamansi-basil one. While eating our donuts, I watched a visiting Pinoy-Chicago native ravish the new offering at Kora's, a 2-inch thick stack of cheese, meat and thick-cut bacon on brioche, a limited supply breakfast sandwich. He ate with such gusto that I couldn't help asking how it tasted like . He said, "You know the ONE Star Michelin Filipino restaurant in Chicago ... (referring to Kasama, offers ultra-popular breakfast sandwiches, too), this is waaaaay better." I continued watching him and his friend say wow in between mouthfuls of the Kora breakfast sandwich. Kora in Sunnyside is an absolute gem! This is hands down one of the best bakeries I've ever been to! This Filipino-inspired spot has elevated pastries to an art form, blending rich, vibrant flavors with incredible technique. I went a little overboard this weekend and ordered a massive haul, but every single item was phenomenal. 5 stars aren't enough! Started with the Manila Cream. It was creamy, dreamy, and perfectly balanced. The Cranberry Guava Chocolate was a tart-sweet explosion that I couldn't stop eating. Both the Chocolate Rival and Sans Chocolate Fried Brioche were next-level: fluffy, fried-to-perfection brioche with that addictive crisp exterior. The Ube items stole the show for me! The Ube Babka Swirl had this gorgeous laminated swirl of rich ube butter, flaky and indulgent. We doubled up on Ube Fried Brioche and Leche Flan Fried Brioche. The ube version was silky and purple perfection, while the leche flan brought that caramelized, custardy magic inside the brioche. Unreal! The Salted Egg Babka delivered savory-sweet umami heaven, and the Blood Orange & Milk Chocolate Danish was bright, citrusy, and chocolatey in the best way. My kids loved the cream filling! Pomegranate Cheesecake Danish offered a fruity, tangy cheesecake filling that was so smooth and tasty on every bite. Don't skip the cookies. They are hefty and packed with flavor. The Caramelized White Chocolate & Banana Cookie was gooey caramel bliss with banana notes. The Ube Coconut Cookie had that classic ube-coconut combo done perfectly. And the FFG (Food for the Goddesses) I'm still thinking about that one; mysterious name, but divine taste! And to wash it all down, I got a hot chocolate called The Kora Chocolate Silk. It was velvety and decadent, like a chocolate lover's dream. They melted dark chocolate and caramelized some marshmallows in it. Very good! Everything was fresh, creative, and executed with so much care. The staff was friendly, the vibe welcoming, and the value is there despite the indulgence. Kora has quickly become a must-visit in Queens whether you're craving ube everything or just want mind-blowing pastries, this place delivers. Highly recommend grabbing a box (or two. or three) and treating yourself. You won't regret it!
It's incredible to watch the evolution of Kora, whose reputation as the Filipino donut pop up whose founders trained at Eleven Madison Park made them the most coveted donut to get during the pandemic. I remember making it off their waitlist because of a chef friend who had the plug, and eating these donuts on a frigid day in a car, because Kora had no storefront yet. Years later, I found myself waiting in a long line during the holiday break, with a slew of many others wanting to get our hands on these amazing pastries. Just as I was about to get to the front of the line, someone came out to announce they had sold out of all donuts, but had cookies, crullers, and drinks left. I was disappointed but determined to leave with something, as I don't find myself in Sunnyside often. I think they really undersold their offerings because the crullers and cookies and croissants were still available aplenty, and not only that, they were absolutely phenomenal at that. I left with a coffee cruller and caramelized white chocolate banana cookie. Maybe there's something about the quality of the butter or the way they brown their butter but the fragrance coming out of the pastries lit up every taste bud I possessed. The coco jam latte, made with brown sugar coconut jam and espresso, was also strong and delicious. No misses here! This spot is worth going out of your way for, and even waiting in a short line for. Every single thing Kim touches is delicious!
We waited for the lines to hype down at this place. About five months later and it was worth it. First time coming here there was a selection of colorful donuts. Starting from the lychee raspberry, Matcha strawberry green tea, Ube loaded (same concept as a Boston crème doughnut), and mango sugar glazed. When experimenting with many donut flavors, we tested which were the popular ones. Traditionally the Ube flavor doughnut flavor won. My next favorite was the lychee raspberry. Seasonally it seems the flavors do change and rotate. But let's not forget the beverages too. The Ube iced coffee and the pandan iced latte, which is one the few places that serves this here. Even on a cold day, the Ube iced coffee is so rich and decadent with a chockful of ube flavoring over the coffee. The line does move fast and the workers do an amazing job. Longest line I've experienced is waiting 10 minutes. The key is getting here early so you can get a chance to grab as many flavors as you can. The donuts are huge, but be warned are expensive. Worth the treat as these donuts are unique.
I specifically drove from Philly to NYC to try their pastries! The staff seemed so kind and friendly, and their drinks and sweet goods were phenomenal and totally worth the hype! Plus, they have a clean and huge bathroom which is unheard of at most NYC bakeries. I had the following: Ube Fried Brioche: The most amazing brioche I have had. The Ube filling was plentiful Leche Flan Ni Lola: So luscious and silky Ube Latte: So pretty and the Purple yam was a delightful combination with Espresso Pandan & Matcha Latte: I could taste the Pandan and Matcha flavors distinctly which usually is not the case. Coco Jam Latte: Thankful that I got this as a last minute decision, there was a sweetness and saltiness to it that made the drink so balanced.
Had the privilege to try their DELISHH seasonal pastries when my Queens friends brought them over! They're filling and quite hefty, in the best way! The uniqueness of flavors and size of the pastries make them worth the price. Everything was honestly good! Special shoutout to the Leche Flan, which was texturally nice with the Brioche dough. The Ube was also pretty good! Don't be overwhelmed by the outlook lol Great to pair these pastries with a bev to balance out all the sweets. I love that Kora rotates their menu with seasonal offerings. Expect about a ~20 min wait due to its popularity. This spot is worth a try!
First time here on July 4 - barely a line at noon, but there were limited selections. Not sure if it was because of the holiday or they had already run out of the other options but they were also making more throughout the day. Overall, they weren't bad but I don't understand the hype. The brioche dough itself is pretty good but I can't imagine waiting in a line for this. The flan donut: the flan itself is good and there's a dulce de Leche cream underneath. The ube donut: more understated than I expected and not decadent at all. I appreciate the ube cream in the cake at Red Ribbon more than this. The matcha crueller: a solid crueller. I might have liked this the most out of the donuts. Chocolate chip cookie: a solid cookie, and I especially liked the salt ratio on top. Ube coconut cookie: again, the ube flavor felt understated FFG: This was decent, and I appreciated the more natural sugars in this. We also got 3 drinks. The matcha pandan latte (didn't taste much pandan, but I preferred more than it being overpowering), the matcha spritz (a little too thick for me once the coconut foam gets combined with it), and the matcha strawberry guava (tart syrup which complements nicely). The drinks were good, but the matcha flavor could have been stronger. read more
Didn't get there in time for the donuts A little worn down the of the Dominque ansel era sell out of cronuts and lines around the block. The two chocolate chip cookies I had were great. Now that matcha is so popular, I see that to prep for the iced version people make a bottle of the matcha concentration and add milk and ice. I finally got to try this bakery and had an amazing experience! Since this was my first time visit, I tried couple pastries below: - Kouign-amann - Ensaymasa Croissant - Ube pastry - Matcha cruller - Leche Flan ni Lola All their pastries were amazing, my most favorite one was the Flan. It has whole flan and flan cream inside fried brioche. I loved the flan and tasted really good! I also tried their Ube latte and it was nice as well. The Ube taste was thick and perfect sweetness. If you haven't tried yet, I really recommend this place!! I'll definitely come back to try all their pastries! read more

I have followed Kora since they started pre-order weekly during pandemic. Their donuts were so great that I was so happy excited and supported their kickstarter project for this brick and mortar store. I have already visited twice. The donuts are still very yummy! Also, the other new items are delicious too. Especially love the spam and cheese croissants! And, The texture of the crullers is so soft and tasty. The drinks are so special and good too. I don't mind keep driving across the borough to visit. read more
I'm so happy that they finally have their own brick and mortar store! I've been a fan of Kora since many years ago when they only took online orders. I remember you can only order starting a specific time every wk. And I remember it was so hard to place an order because they would sell out in under 5-10minutes! Even with their store, it's best to arrive earlier in the day if you want to try out the more popular flavors! My boyfriend happened to be in the neighborhood one late afternoon and they were sold out of a lot of things. He managed to get me a matcha cruller and a cinnamon cruller. I like the cinnamon cruller over the matcha, but both were still delicious! Just FYI they close at 4pm, so get there earlier! read more
Kora is definitely a buzz-worthy spot, but it left me a bit torn. After a 30 min drive I stopped by and grabbed an ube latte, which was smooth and subtly sweet--definitely a highlight. The coffee cruller had a great texture, light and crispy, but the flavor felt a bit one-note. I also tried two cookies: the caramelized white chocolate & banana, and the food for the goddesses. The banana one was interesting but a little too sweet for my taste, while the latter had a nice depth, almost earthy, but again, very rich. The biggest downside? Not much variety when it came to baked goods, which was surprising given the hype. And the place was absolutely packed--no seating. Overall: worth checking out if you're curious read more
Opening week excitement certainly led to high anticipation for their baked goods. I waited about an hour in line, and tried their ube donut, spam and cheese pain suisse, and tamarind apple fritter. My favorite was surprisingly the apple fritter - while I couldn't really taste the tamarind, I really liked the light sweetness and texture of the fritter. I was really excited for the spam and cheese pastry, but felt it was far too salty, and wasn't a fan of the sweet syrup that coated the top of the pain suisse. The ube donut filling is plenty and delicious, but note that the texture of the donut is quite chewy, I'd guess there may be rice/glutinous flour in the donut. Also important to note that these are speciality baked goods, so they are definitely pricey! There's actually quite a bit of seating inside, and service is kind and patient. Was one of the first people in line @ 8:30am on a Thursday to prep for Kora's 9am opening! Definitely recommend going on a weekday to avoid the rush. The owner was very sweet to people waiting and the workers at the counter were attentive. The pastries came out fresh & it was hard to not say yes to all of them. Spam & Cheese: loves the glazed outside that added a layer of texture to the typical meat & cheese croissant Ensymada Croissant: it was beautiful watching the pastry chef shred hefty portion of cheese on top of each pastry. Honestly a fan favorite because it was a take on a classic filipino pastry but with added butteriness with the croissant layers & delightful crisp texture. Ube Donut: This one surprised me. I was worried this was gonna be too sugary but the taste was light & the ube halaya filling was nostalgic. I loved the added chips on top! The space was open, clean, & neutral in color. I've done my fair share of bakery morning & appreciated there was an open space to sit after getting the pastries. read more
I've been wanting to try Kora (long before their brick and mortar), but the wait always deterred me. Finally got around to waking up early enough to line up for these doughnuts (9AM). If there's anything to get you up and out of bed, it's their fluffy doughnuts. First and foremost, I commend them for their excellent customer service and authenticity. The owners introduced themselves and made sure to keep everyone posted about inventory. The entire establishment is well-lit and clean with an open kitchen concept. Despite how busy they were, the staff managed to keep everything orderly. Each person is limited to 5 doughnuts per person. I love their creativity incorporating Filipino flavors; it's such an enjoyable way to indulge in a fusion of cultures. Our absolute favorites were the leche flan ni lola and the ube. Also ordered a pandan matcha latte and it was so perfectly balanced. Their doughnuts flavor rotate, but there's always something for everyone; each doughnut is curated carefully in flavor and texture. You'll definitely catch me coming back to try more. It's amazing to see how far Kora has come since the pandemic days!! I've definitely waited hours in line before just to get my hands on those famous brioche donuts. Now that they have an official storefront in Sunnyside, the experience is way more convenient. I walked in with no wait and even got to try their signature drinks like the Ube latte, which was so good and paired perfectly with the donuts. I brought my mom and aunties who were in town from Florida and used to read all about Kora on my IG stories lol. and they were just as impressed. Yes, the donuts and cookies are on the pricey side, but honestly still worth it for the quality and creativity. Fingers crossed they eventually knock a dollar off the price, but either way this spot is a win. read more
All the donuts were so delicious. From the looks, they look like they would be overly sweet but it was not and I was able to taste the distinct flavors of each donut! The line starts very early in the morning around 8am and may be sold out by 10am so recommend going early! The place is a cute cafe and also serves coffee if the donuts run out! read more

Definitely an experience. From the Filipino flavored ambiance to the unique concoctions of drinks and pastries with a Filipino pride on it. It's a MAJOR YES. The lines can be long, but be patient because it's worth it. Tried so many good things: CocoJam latte which is heavenly, camotecue danish, Leche flan donut and more. Lovely! read more

I recently visited Kora's new brick-and-mortar shop during their grand opening weekend! We got there around 8:45, before their 9am opening time, and there was already a big line forming. They were letting people in groups of about 10 at a time, and we ended up waiting a little over an hour. Their shop is bright and spacious, with a number of small tables available for seating. Towards the back you can peek into the kitchen and watch them glaze their pastries. Their pastry display case offers a variety of crullers, cookies, donuts, and other pastry varieties. On the day I went, they were limiting customers to 4 pastries per person. My favorites that I tried were the ube babka swirl, kouign amann, and the ensaymada croissant. The spam & cheese pain suisse was a delightful savory option. I loved how creative everything was in incorporating Filipino flavors. However, many of their pastries are heavily glazed so they may be overly sugary if you don't have much of a sweet tooth. I tried a bite of my friend's apple tamarind fritter and plain glazed donut and found them to be a bit too sweet. I also had an iced pandan matcha latte, which was fine but could've used a bit more pandan flavor. While I'm so happy their business is booming, I hope the line dies down soon so I can go back to try more without waiting an hour in line! read more
The pastries here are no joke! The beauty, the flavors, the craftsmanship that goes into each one is unmatched. I know this place has a lot of hype but I can truly say it lives up to it. They have an apple tamarind fritter that is out of this world, definitely my favorite! They also have really good coffee flavors that go beyond your basic pumpkin spice. They are also really friendly and have a beautiful open space to sit at. Will definitely be back for more!! read more

Updates! I tried their ube latte and it's heaven! So good! You can taste the ube flavor when you sip it. However, it is kinda too sweet for me and maybe next time I'd ask for less sugar if possible. Overall I looooooove their ube latte! read more

I've been wanting to try Kora for ages, but my schedule always made getting to their Fri/Sat pick up impossible, so I'm so glad they have a permanent store front now! I got the ube donut (which just tasted sweet and was maybe overly filled?) and the berry fritter which felt like the perfect choice for summer. Lots on offer to try so I'll have to come back - hopefully when there's less of a line! read more
Worth the wait and then some. I remember during the pandemic getting the doughnuts from their apartment and somehow it's gotten even better! I splurged like a boss and looked at my $85 receipt and went wow. They limit 6 per person so having two people lets you go hard. We ordered the following: Coffee Glazed Cruller $4.50 Ube Coconut $6.00 Alfajores $5.00 Passionfruit Bun $6.75 Leche Flan Fried Brioche × 2 $14.00 ($7.00 ea.) Ube Fried Brioche $7.00 Apple - Tamarind Fritter $6.00 Matcha Cruller $5.00 Ensaymada Croissant $5.75 Kouign Amann $5.50 Iced Pandan & Matcha Latte $6.50 12oz Regular Milk Salted Coco Jam Latte $6.50 12oz Regular Milk Simply said I loved it all and unfortunately ate it in one day. On a Friday afternoon, I expected the place to be super crowded but surprisingly it wasn't! There was a short line inside the store to order but it moved really fast so you kind of have to decide quickly what you want to order. Everything looked so good - it was hard to choose! Ultimately, we ended up getting the Ube Doughnut, blueberry calamansi fritter, mango float fried brioche, leche flan ni lola, and the pandan matcha latte with oat milk. The ube doughnut was chewy and filled with so much ube cream that it leaked out and was kind of messy to eat... but it was a good messy that I'm not going to complain about! Worth it? Yea! The blueberry calamansi fritter was my favorite! To start, it's not exactly a "fritter" but more so a mix between a doughnut and fritter- it had that kind of texture. The flavor was fresh, tart, and bright! It went well together :) the mango float fried brioche was a lighter doughnut and definitely used ripe champagne mangoes because any foodie will definitely be able to spot that sweet mango flavor! Chantilly cream was a nice touch to it as well. The leche flan ni Lola was better than I expected- full disclosure I've never had a flan I actually enjoyed. This one though? Wasn't bad! So it's pretty high up there! The pandan matcha latte was the only one that was pretty disappointing. I love pandan and I drink matcha lattes on the regular- about 90% of the year! However this particular drink was pretty much a matcha latte to both me and my friend- we didn't taste any pandan which was kind of a let down, sadly. Still, I always enjoy a matcha latte. I've been wanting to try this place for the longest time and it's been so long that they now have a storefront! So happy for their success and hoping it continues because everything was delicious! Will definitely be back to try their other flavors and other drinks! Also love that there is plenty of seating! Review of grand opening of brick and mortar spot Donuts are aesthetically pleasing to look at and are elevated in taste from your traditional donut shops. Donuts are on the pricier end, but still enjoyable. They also offered cookies, croissants, and hot/cold beverages Interior had a couple small tables, seating for 2, and a restroom in the back. Minimalistic themed decor and has good coffee shop vibes ****Grand opening specific**** Waited on line for almost 2 hours. Opening was at 10am, we got there around 9:40am and there were already ~150 people already in line. There was a limit of 3 baked goods per person, not including drinks. read more
This delicious bakery opened in Sunnyside a few months ago! It's a big space inside and has a few chairs outside too. Staff are friendly. There were so many pastries to choose from, including donuts, croissants and cookies. I got the calamansi cookie. It has a unique flavor and was so delicious. I also had the strawberry matcha drink. This review is based off multiple visits: Kora has been one of the highlights of my year. Everything about it is stunning and exciting. Whenever I'm in Queens, my friends and I make it a point to stop here for coffee and far too many pastries. The space itself is beautiful. It is modern, simple, and designed so the drinks and pastries take center stage. There are several tables inside, but you can bet this super popular spot will have them filled by the time you get in. I usually end up ordering almost one of everything because it all looks so good, some items rotate, and I don't want to miss out. Their drinks are just as creative, and everything is presented with a level of care that makes it feel special. As a Filipino café, Kora is a rare gem: it celebrates tradition while elevating ingredients into something new and memorable. first discovered this place when they were kinda a pop up and was rlly excited to try their storefront. Was worried abt a long wait but it honestly wasn't bad, and I went on a Saturday afternoon. You can see them making everything fresh. Def have a lot of unique flavors. My only quirk was that some of the donuts were a little hard and I think that's because of the croissant base but it just wasn't my vibe. Ordered the ube, mango float and flan donut as well as the MSG drink. The donuts were fresh, soft and delicious. The MSG drink featured an iced matcha with strawberry and guava puree. Tasted refreshing. Cute spot. read more
I know this place itself is new but I have been trying to get some doughnuts from here since they opened. You have to get here early in the morning because they sell out fast these donuts are in such high demand. I was able to snag some of these unique delicious doughnuts. I have to say I get the hype. Nice spot in queens. Very open, vibrant atmosphere with lively music. We tried the Ube and Dulce Leche filled donuts. Both were excellent. When you come here on a weekday it is not that busy. The line moves fast and seats get rotated quickly. Plenty of meter parking around. I spent $76 alone for 9 pastry goods and one drink (msg latte). Shared it with my family. I would highly recommend the ube and ensaymada croissant. Everything else is too sweet or okay. Don't come here and buy as many as I did. 10000/10!!! Saved it in my TikTok videos for a while now, but never got to try it until today and I've come to tell you that it did not disappoint! My boyfriend and I decided to get a box of 6 and there was surprisingly a big selection, considering that I've heard/seen reviews talk about limited stock + we went on a weekend afternoon. Everything was delicious and not crazy sweet, which is a plus! It doesn't feel heavy and the unique flavors all come through individually. The service and staff there were super warm and welcoming so that's always appreciative. Ambiance was really nice, very spacious, although, don't expect to find seating during that time. There's outdoor seating, which was taken as well, so we defaulted to the city bench which was conveniently right outside. The best bakery in Queens without question. The owners are always there interacting with customers and making sure the guest experience is great. The banana chocolate chip cookies I constantly crave and the variety of desserts available daily is insane read more

Wow! I love all the bread here! My personal fav is Ensaymada croissant, it's salty and sweet! Other breads also nice but it's just too sweet for me. Beware of the long line if you come here a bit late! Will come back! read more

So happy they have a permanent location! I first tried Kora when they did a pickup in Jackson heights. The space is beautiful and inviting. Staff super friendly and of course the donuts and pastries are to die for. Such special combinations of flavors. Really loved the mango brioche donut and their drinks are so refreshing. Will definitely be part of our bakery treats rotation. read more
