So since my last review, I've tried a couple other places that sell Onigiri around Bay Area. And I…read morewould have to say, my opinion still stands. Leonard's Onigiris are top notch. Others can't hold a candle. His are the closest ever I've found to the ones at a konbini in Japan. Like Lawson, 100, etc.

They sent us directions to pick up in the back, but we got a little lost. Leonard, the owner, came out to find us and introduced himself and shared a little about the food and their projects. He was such a nice guy with big plans for the food! Into the food itself - The tuna mayo onigiri was STUFFED. There was so much flavor in every bite. I was a little cranky you have to order in twos but afterwards that first bite, I'm glad I had a whole one to myself! We got the Portuguese sausage with musubi and chili oil. The chili oil had a lot of heat and flavor to it! I don't recommend the chili oil if you're picturing a light spice because it packs a punch. But if you like the fire, highly recommend! My partners favorite was the classic teriyaki spam with unagi and avocado. I really enjoyed the portion sizing of each item - created a really perfect bite. The unagi had an extra smokiness to it. I think it's probably prepared in house/not supermarket unagi - the taste was quite different from that! The chicken lumpia was crispy and perfectly seasoned - not too salty and savory. The Thai chili sauce wasn't too spicy at all either. We'd definitely be back to try more!

Bomb. Dot. Com. We love poke, but honestly it's so hard to find good poke around here. Nothing like…read morethe fresh stuff in Hawaii. But this place is very good! We had it Sunday at the farmers market and again Thursday at the farmers market; it was that good! It's simple, not overdone. Which is perfect. Fresh ahi, sesame, avocado, onion, sauce. Over rice, or your choice of base. It's a little pricey but it is 100% worth it. When comparing to other poke places around, it's a little higher but the quality smacks those in the face, so it makes sense. The fish is so fresh tasting, melts in your mouth. Highly, highly recommend. So nice to have a nice light, refreshing food truck option in lieu of all the fried stuff. Plus, the guy who runs the truck is so friendly. So nice. Reminds me so much of being in Hawaii and getting that ohana treatment. The truck looks clean and well taken care of which makes me feel good about the cleanliness standards he holds. You won't be disappointed; check it out!

Stumbled upon this poke truck at the San Ramon farmer's market a while back. It's good but nothing…read moregreat. You also have to pay more just to get rice with your fish (if ordering a "poke boat") which feels like a rip off in my opinion. Ahi tuna ($14 for 1/2 lb) itself is solid and good quality for what it is in this area. The sauce is described as a sesame soy sauce with spicy mayo. It's on the sweeter with some savoriness, light on the sesame, and not so much salty. I do like the flavors, but the poke isn't marinated long enough for them to seep through the whole fish chunks. Has a very slight kick from the chili flakes.

They looked organized, but they had to go find my order and I had to show them my email receipts because they didn't have my order on file...took a little longer but that was fine. They also gave out flowers for Mother's Day which was super nice! When we arrived home I unpacked & cleaned everything, and noticed I didn't get a Chardonnay, so I emailed Cabana Dave's right away to check to see what to do. I followed up with another email on 5/13 with no response. UPDATE Dave called me back personally today-he explained that they've been swamped & he said sorry for not getting back to me sooner. He has the wine & I can pick it up tomorrow! I love that they are helping local businesses during this time, and really I'd give more stars if I could get someone to respond to my question. I'll defiantly order again, mistakes happen but it's great when they are fixed! Thanks Dave!

She laughed at and corrected me during our brief conversation, making me uncomfortable and quick to move on to another caterer. I am sure she had no ill intentions but as someone who has worked in customer service for seven years this was an unacceptable way to be treated. It came across as rude and thoughtless. I am giving this two stars instead of one because I hate to poorly effect this catering company's ratings because of a phone call, but I was very put off by this interaction.

Also, no seasonings on the meat which meant no flavor. I had to throw it all away. I might be the only one who's had a bad experience here as people constantly rave how good it is. We are really into BBQ and know a lot about the origins of the sauce by state but for us it was too much that didn't add up. I am a native of Lousianna and there no distinct BBQ's due to the diversity and rub focused cuisine unlike Things like such as Kansas City, Texas, Memphis and Carolina. but it would be best to ask him to explain as we were unable to get a clear answer about it. Price - The prices are astronomical. for a 2 way plate it is 28.00 per person. this is a pick of 2 meats on little slider hawaiian rolls. you can eat easily in a restaurant for half of that and get authentic smoked real BBQ meat. 1 2 way plate is only enough for 1 person because portions are very small. 2 people to eat here is 70.00. A 2 way includes little sliders on costco Hawaiian rolls which are snack size. Beans were directly out of the can. No flavor enhancer seasons or anything and runny sauce. BBQ Sauce is directly out of the bottle. (Most likely sweet Baby Rays from Costco or smart and final. Potato salad is also store bought and not fresh. you will find it at the local grocery store. Please compare for yourself. You will see. Though he has grills smoking on the side of the truck an he is constantly running back and forth with a spray bottle and towel, there is very little meat if any in the grills so more for marketing and show. Also note that His prices are negotiable. He does not turn any money away. He will give you what is called a "special" deal, and you will hear him yell to the staff "special"! so as it turns out "special" means no charbroiled meats! All oven baked and pre sliced chicken and pulled pork that is store brought so special means different batch. Just b aware. He is very very pushy! He is trying to reel in all of the customers from entering stores he is parked in front catching you on the way in or out. Feels harrasing and if you are not interested he will say to you on your way pass "you don't want to miss out cause you won't be able to sleep tonight if you don't try this. It'll keep you up. You gonna miss out" This is a slickster tactic. He is hustling and it shows. no one should be pressured to buy anything they are not interested in. We are surprised this is in a public strip mall parking lot and should not be allowed Thus his location has had to move frequently. A license should be required. Usually food trucks must be parked on the street, not blocking parking stalls for businesses and after 6:00 p.m. daily This is an ordinance. Not sure why this is being tolerated. 2 stars because there is nothing wrong with trying to make a living. 1 start would be unfair to that, so 2 is being generous and speaks to definite his work ethic.

Never again will i listen to a non-human! Let me first start off by saying, i love me my quesadillas. It's my go to mexican food. My staple, the good ol' reliable. Not tacos, not burritos. The mighty legendary quesadilla. How can you mess up a quesadilla with meat? Well it's possible here at Tacos Mil Delicias. It all started with the price tag. $15 dollars for a quesadilla, thats before tax. I thought to myself, okay, it's going to be at least mildly big or beefy. Nope and nope. This thing was thinner than a Taco Bell quesadilla and smaller than the usual size flour tortilla for a menu item like this at other Mexican taco trucks. All this while waiting in the cold for what felt to be longer than 15 minutes. Unacceptable. They did have some chairs next to their truck and it looked decently clean, but i thought it wouldn't take that long and is the reason why i stayed standing. Wrong. I didn't give it one star because the quesadilla did not taste bad. Regardless, for that amount of money, it's best spent elsewhere.
