Not too bad overall, I had low expectations of it from having read reviews but my drink came out very quickly and reasonable prices for drinks whereas bubble teas nowadays can be around $10 a pop (this was around $6). It's in Springfield mall near the food court. There's plenty of various drink and dessert options. I got the sweet cloud cold brew since I love coffee but I didn't taste much coffee, mostly milk and sugar, but I was thirsty so it hit the spot. Definitely not my fave place for bubble teas as I've had better but also not the worst so there's that. After a long morning workout, my friend and I were craving some boba. Within our immediate area, this Kokee tea was the only bubble tea place open. It's located within the mall. They don't participate in the same rewards program as the other Kokee tea locations, they use a physical punch card instead. We ordered an Oreo Milk Tea and a Purple Love (Taro) with honey boba. The drinks themselves tasted decent. They could have boiled the boba a little longer since it wasn't as chewy at the center. Whenever we go to Springfield Mall, I'm always tempted to stop at Kokee for a tea, but this time I was intrigued by the mochi donuts! It was late in the day, so they only had a couple of flavors left. Fortunately, they had one taro donut left, so I grabbed it. So glad I did! It was delightful. The donut was not dense at all, but rather on the light and fluffy side (compared to regular mochi)...great soft, slightly chewy and light texture. The taro glaze was delicious, not overly sweet, and just the right amount so as not to overwhelm the more delicate mochi flavors. I usually stop by Kokee Tea whenever I visit Springfield Mall and I haven't had major issues with my drinks until today. I ordered the Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Honey Boba and realized after mixing and finally drinking it in my car that there was no boba. I'm extremely disappointed especially since I paid a little extra for the boba topping. The drink itself tastes good but would've been better if it included the boba that I paid extra for. My favorite bubble tea spot in Springfield. I usually get a Taro smoothie at 25% sweetness with honey boba. Yes, they will adjust the sweetness to your liking which works out so well for me. I do wish there were pics of all the other "toppings" listed on their menu so that I might get inspired to venture out a little from my usual. This Kokee is not directly connected to the one in Pentagon City Mall so they are not on the same rewards program. I do think they have a rewards program of their own but no one has taken the time to explain it since Ive been frequenting this location. Glad to see there's a small baker and boba tea shop at the mall so I decided to give it a try. I ordered lychee on lychee and it was surprising delicious. It's lychee flavored black tea with lychee jelly in it. Lightly sweet, fruity, and very refreshing. This non milk tea drink is more than $5 including tax which is expensive. They just simply add lychee flavored syrup to black tea and add lychee jelly, shake it up and charge $5. It's understandable because it's inside the mall. It's a good one but I will not buy from here again. For my boba tea crave, I can just drive 10 more minutes to Annandale for better and cheaper boba milk tea. read more

I've come here a couple times while shopping in the mall and they serve some really good boba teas/smoothies/slushies! They also have a section of baked goods and they do have quite a few choices to pick from. I'm a fan of the banana bread which are in little shapes of bananas! I went on a Monday afternoon (Columbus Day) and it was a busy day throughout the whole mall. I fell in line and noticed that the front counter was a little messy from customers tasting free samples and not placing their trash in the designated area on the counter (which a sign was visible, but of course, people don't pay attention). I couldn't blame the folks at Kokee that much for that. The customers were constantly coming and the girl working the register was taking orders really fast! Since I'm sure they were expecting a holiday rush, they were very fast on orders. I ordered the Rose from San Francisco with Honey Boba. I got mine as a refreshing tea. It really hit the spot! It wasn't overly sweet and the honey boba was just right. I've ordered others from the menu before (Green Milk Tea, Purple Love) but I always go for San Francisco. So happy that a Korean bakery/bubble tea place has opened in Springfield Town Center! For under $10 we were able to get a drink and two pastries. I got the Tiger Milk Tea (which is thai iced milk tea) with honey boba for an additional 50 cents. You should definitely pay the little extra cost to get the boba! It is the perfect consistency- just the right amount of chewiness. They also have other topping options if you don't like boba, like jelly and custard. There is only one size and they don't put too much ice, so for $4 a cup it felt like a very good deal. They have a large assortment of pastries and bakery goods. I asked, and the cashier told me that they get them delivered fresh every morning. We really liked the banana cake. It was delicious! It has a very subtle flavor and wasn't too sweet. It also has walnuts to add some texture. You get 2 for $3 and they are cute too- shaped like bananas! Most of the pastries are around $2 or $3. The cakes are a little more expensive at around $5 to $6 a slice, and they have adorable animal cakes for $30 if you ever need to buy a birthday cake or something. We got a little sample of the melon slush and it wasn't great so I would recommend you stick with the milk teas. The slush was pretty artificial tasting. Warning: The "Crystal Boba" is NOT a chewy tapioca ball like the darker, traditional variety. I asked the cashier if it tastes the same as the honey boba and she standoffishly said "I guess so."
