Spicy Pork Yutari Bowl
Rob P.

I love this place! First the value, that's a word you don't hear much these days but you definitely get a lot of food for the money, you will not be hungry especially if you get the bowls. Second it's really delicious. They do use imitation crab meat but overall it's really good. Lastly even though it's not an eat in kind of place the appearance is clean and the staff is friendly. This is a regular lunch spot for me and should be for you too!

Pork Belly Bun

I probably would rate this place 3.5 out of 5 if possible. First off the server was extremely nice and I have no problem with the service, the place is clean and the interior while small, is very cute. I know the reviews are raving but I found the food very average. My boyfriend got the bulgogi yutari bowl and said it was pretty good. I got the Osaka namba roll and thought it was pretty good just kind of small for a $16 special roll. Lastly we got the $10 pork buns which is already pretty steep for pork buns and they were subpar. Just very eh. They were also the smallest buns I have EVER had. And I've had many! Overall it's a cute place with nice workers but very average slightly overpriced food

I absolutely love these tofu buns! Only place I can find them is Koi. I usually order for pickup. Priced at about 4 each and sold 2 as an order.

YUTARI BOWL with salmon and tuna

I've been wanting to have some food from here since I saw the menu that someone left at work. Today was the day. I didn't know there wasn't any indoor seating at this time, so I ended up just bringing food back with me to work. After a look over the menu I ordered a "YUTARI BOWL" which to me was essentially a poke bowl. You were able to pick your base of greens or rice and protein. Included toppings were seaweed salad, crab, lettuce, edamame and crunch. I was able to chose between lemon soy or siracha aioli. There was a ton of choices for proteins; tuna and salmon, eel, tuna, salmon, beef, chicken, spicy pork, pork, veggies. I went with tuna & salmon, brown rice and siracha aioli as my choices. It was a very filling and flavorful lunch! It wasn't a long wait for take out either. I did have some time to look over the menu, and I will be ordering from here again. Although my order was take out, service was friendly. The bowl was a little on the pricy side in my opinion at $16...but the quality was amazing.

Tried delivery from here and it was great! It came in a timely manner and the time as expected upon ordering. The food was one of the freshest I've had. The kani salad was fresher than any others that I have had at neighboring/my usual sushi restaurants. The rolls that I ordered were delicious and extremely fresh. Very pleased. This may become my new go-to for takeout/delivery.

Sushi platter

You cannot dine in this restaurant since Covid-19 but we decided to order a large platter for take out lunch at work. The restaurant is pretty small and no one was over-friendly. Nothing really wowed me as far as choices went either. It was a large platter but the rolls are pretty small with not much to them. Masa in Babylon is to me the superior sushi place in my area. Would much rather sit and eat there and have that great Japanese experience.

"Fried rice"

Fell off, still do not do dine in which is ridiculous, you are a Main Street establishment. Ordered sashimi and it was still frozen. This was the beef "fried rice" ... it was just white rice with a touch soy. I also ordered a bunch of rolls and the spicy crab had so many shells in it, couldn't even eat it. Not the 5 star restaurant it used to be. Never returning, waste of $100.

Chicken Yaki Soba Noodle

I ordered takeout from here twice recently and it was delicious! Their soba noodles might be the best I've ever had...however the tofu. Where is the tofu? It just tasted like strips of deep fried nothing. It was all breading. Lightly fried tofu cubes would be much better!! But the noodles made up for it. I just ate around it. My daughter loved her noodles with the chicken. The cucumber avocado roll and shrimp tempura were delicious. I love their mango aioli sauce. The shrimp fried rice was also really good. Besides the tofu, everything else was incredible and when I'm in the area I'll definitely be back!

Came all the way over here to realize that it's take out only. We lived pretty far and the employees were nice enough to let us sit by the counter on the side to eat our dinner. The food was amazing and fresh and made pretty quick. Service was great and the staff was so friendly. The bombs were the main reason i wanted to try this place and it did not disappoint. They were so full of flavor. The tuna buns where good and a lot bigger than we expected. The pork fried rice tasted great and so full of flavor. Gave us the hibachi taste. My son wanted the chicken ramen which he enjoyed. He wish it came with more egg tho. Overall we will be back to order again!

Yakisoba Noodles with beef
Katie L.

I was previously at koiKKR after a weekend outing in LI. We weren't looking for sushi, but had a hankering for Japanese bites and hot foods, and was told they have an extensive menu. We did end up ordering one of the specialty rolls towards the end of the meal, and it was delish. It was topped with tuna and salmon, and had a pretty name but forgotten. Their buns are very popular, seen at other tables in many variations. We tried the Pork Belly and Crispy Chicken buns, tasty morsels reminiscent of ones you'd find at popular Japanese restaurants in Manhattan. Also had the Chicken Kaarage with Sirachi aioli over rice, which was a homey tasting Japanese-style rice bowl. The kaarage was similar to the ones in their buns, crispy and tender. Yakisoba Noodles with beef was also a nice dish, stir-fried with a slight char and good flavors. Will come back if I'm along this way, and actually check out their sushi/sashimi, but don't miss the rest of their menu!

Are they open for indoor dining again?

They have done away with indoor dining. They rearranged the whole place and now it is takeout only.

Is there early bird?

None that I have seen.

Are the owners Japanese?

I've heard they're half Japanese, half Korean

I've been to a good number of AYCE sushi spots, and this is hands down the best one yet!…read more The have a unique menu unlike other sushi AYCE spots, including the jellyfish salad, double sweet (jalapeño tuna over a rectangle of deep fried rice), the Howie Special (sliced raw pepper tuna), and even fried Oreos for dessert too. All the ingredients tasted very fresh, and I was also happy to see it opening til late since we were coming back from a roadtrip. They also have a wide selection of yummy special rolls which you can't beat for the price, but do be warned, they are more filling in case you're trying to fill up on a lot of sushi. Service was quick, and servers frequently came by to ask what we wanted to order (which they either took the order on a notepad or via their iPad). There was also no wait when we got there, and it was a nice mid-higher tier sushi spot with a few larger groups still there close to closing time. I loved that they didn't fill up too much rice on the sushi rolls. It was also a sweet surprise that the green tea and red bean ice cream, which was fairly creamy by surprise, also paired nicely with my fried Oreos. If I'm ever in the area again I would definitely come back!

The service was fast, too. It's not a fancy restaurant, so casual outfits are totally fine. Overall, it's a great spot if you're looking for good sushi in a relaxed, casual setting!

We enjoyed our visit here and were especially happy to see that they offer happy hour pricing all…read moreday. The items under this category were very affordable. We ordered the chicken tempura roll for $5, the chicken tempura appetizer portion for $11, and the chicken fried rice for $11. We also ordered the hibachi chicken teriyaki meal, which came with a choice of soup or salad and white or brown rice. The food was well prepared, delicious, and came in good portion sizes. Everything we ordered was satisfying and we enjoyed the variety. There were a few minor negatives during our visit. Our waiter was not the friendliest, and there was no option to simply pay an upcharge for fried rice with the hibachi meal. Instead, you had to order a completely separate fried rice entree. The iced tea was also not refillable. Despite those small issues, we enjoyed our meal and would come back again. Four stars from us.

My husband ordered the Sashimi Platter for One, and I ordered two specialty rolls. Everything tasted fresh and was well prepared. One thing to note is that the sashimi platter doesn't clearly explain which types of fish are included. My husband was a little surprised that one of the selections was shrimp, so it would be helpful if the menu listed the assortment or at least gave a general idea of what to expect. There was also a mix-up with our order--we ordered soups but received salads instead. Mistakes happen, and while it wasn't a huge issue, it was a little disappointing. Since this was a delivery order, I can't comment on the restaurant's atmosphere or the in-person service. Overall, though, the fresh fish and quality sushi made for an enjoyable meal, and we'd order from them again.

Now, I can't remember the name of the roll, but it has bananas and mangoes in it with crumbled Oreos on top. ??? Weird - Yes. Tasty? Meh it was alright. It's like a desert roll so I should have really thought about that, but I had never heard of a roll like that before so I HAD to try it. It was good, but I should have stuck with a dinner type roll. Would recommend if you had a group of people, not as a sole roll for dinner. Service: Two servers, no complaints. Haha, the first waitress gave us these little packages at the start and I was like "What is this?" I opened it and there was a warm towel inside. Nice touch. I think she thought I was a complete rookie because I have never had a sushi place offer that before! Atmosphere: Very nice inside, good for a divey bar scene or for a nice date. Nice menus and the towels were cool. Price: 30$ a person pretty standard. It's sushi, so it depends on what you get. The guy I was with got a straight sashimi plate which was a little more expensive, so it just depends on how hungry you are! Overall: Cool place, bonus for the towels, the unique rolls and the service. Not sure I will be back this way but if I am, I hope this place is still around!

Happy hour is offered Monday through Friday from 4pm to 7:30pm and is served at the bar only. We were lucky to arrive early since we were told by several people that it gets very busy. We also ordered several happy hour appetizers and rolls, including the pork gyoza, popcorn chicken, chicken tempura roll, California roll, and American Dream roll. Everything tasted great, the presentation was nice, and the customer service was excellent. I ordered a Yuzu Mule but didn't care for the flavor. The bartender was very accommodating and happily switched it out for another drink, which I really appreciated. The ambiance was welcoming, with dim lighting and beautiful wood decor. We really enjoyed our outing and plan to come back again to try more from the menu.

The servers are all well versed in the menu items, including the oyster selection, which is always a plus for me. Each time I've visited I ordered a few different oysters and have never been disappointed. You really cannot go wrong with what you order. The fritto misto appetizer is outstanding, perfect for 2-4 people. Also had to try the oysters Rockefeller which are always delicious. My first visit (NYE '26) they had octopus on their specials menu. I PRAY they bring it back because it was memorable, even 6 months later. My first visit I tried the barramundi which, at the time was a special menu item. It seems they added it to the Mains but with a different preparation. This time I tried the salmon which was excellent. If seafood's not your jam, they have plenty of menu items to choose from. In addition to the food, they also have great cocktails and a stellar looking happy hour menu I can't wait to try. I recommend making reservations, especially if you're visiting on a Friday or Saturday night. Both times I went here the restaurant was packed, particularly the bar area. Such small oysters for a place that's on the coast and bases it menu off the ocean. Our tuna tartar tacos were great. Best I've ever had.
