Three items ordered, fabulous choices. Steamed pork Bao which came in a 3 piece dim sum basket. The dough was wonderfully soft and fluffy texture expected of a good bao dough. The pork in the bao was generously seasoned and the ratio of pork to dough was fantastic. Very surprised with the soup dumplings with their filling. Ratio of filling to wrapper was excellent, again well seasoned, with a very savory soup. I really enjoyed the fried noodles with chicken. The noodles were enough for two people, and if I'm using the word generous too often ,it's because the amount of food in the bowl was unreal. The noodles were Al dente and bouncy, the chicken was seasoned with a sweet herbal taste. I decided to come check out this spot for lunch. The place was dead. Never the best of signs. The service was polite and informative. I always ask questions about the menu to ensure a great order experience. The small dining area is cafeteria style, which if it were not dead would make me feel uncomfortable. The gyoza were particularly good! I would probably go back just for that. The passion fruit tea that I ordered was also very good. The ramen however was okay. It wasn't bad but not great either. I wouldn't come back to order it here. I would come back to try some of the other things on the menu though. Maybe they need to expand slightly beyond ramen? Or put more fresh ingredients in their ramen to make it more exciting snd appealing to eat on it's own. I don't love it when it's just noodles and corn like the cup of noodles that you buy at the store in those styrofoam cups. Kind of a let down. read more

The ramen continues to be really good at Koi. Once again my wife ordered the Tofu Vegetable Ramen (still $14.97 after 2 years) and enjoyed the flavors and quality of the ingredients. I tried the Tom Yam Ramen ($14.97) with shrimp, and the standard scallion, bean sprouts, bamboo, corn, and half of a hard boiled egg. The tom yam broth is listed on the menu with one hot pepper for spiciness, but I did not notice any spiciness at all. However, it still had a delicious blend of flavors with lemon grass, kaffir lime leaves, galangal, lime juice, and fish sauce. We tried the Pork Belly Bao Buns ($9.95) for the first time and were very pleased with the textures and flavor of the buns. Definitely something we'd order again. Hopefully, the next time we'll remember to try the Takoyaki ($9.25), crispy octopus balls. I'm increasing my rating to reflect consistency in our enjoyment of the food as we try additional items on the menu. Service continues to be fast, friendly, and efficient. read more

It is a seasoned hard boiled egg and tastes awesome! The portions are massive! Enough that we could have split one! They give you a recyclable fork, knife, spoon, and chopsticks! I was excited to try an actual ramen restaurant because honestly the only ramen I have ever tried came in solid brick form with a little seasoning packet. I found this local place in Clifton Park, NY (to me) and decided to pay the $17 dollars they charge for over done noodles and a disgusting slab of beef that topped off my spicy beef ramen order. It actually made me mad how bad this was for such a simple dish, how I spent good money for something I could have made myself. The only saving grace was that the broth/soup it came with, was good although it had a burnt scent to it like it had been sitting around simmering since the Obama administration. Not bad, but far from good. Really could tweak a few things to dramatically improve the experience. I ordered pork ramen and pork belly bao to go. They were ready in under 10 minutes, so it was fast and convenient. The pork "belly" bao was disappointing. It lacked the fatty layer that makes pork belly uniquely unctuous. I thought the thin sliced pork really may have been pork shoulder instead of belly. They could really improve the bao flavor if they used pickled vegetables instead of the raw red onion. The ramen broth wasn't as deeply flavorful as it could have been. Since I preferred to-go, it came deconstructed. That wouldn't have been a problem, but the thin ramen noodles stuck together like a ball of yarn. Took a while in the broth to unwind. Last request of management, the chop sticks are a bit short to comfortably use with the deep to-go container. On the positive side, the to-go bowl stacked nicely with the ingredients on top. I struggled with a 2 or 3 star rating here, but they can easily get to 4 stars by deepening flavor in broth and making minor positive adjustments. read more

The two little chicken cutlets were about as dry as wood chips (impressive considering they are floating in soup). Every surface was sticky. Bathroom was dirty. Light switch was even dirty. Limited seating - one long table that seats prob 8 or so and a bar along the window that prob seats 6. They have a person to help you order or you can order on the kiosk. The kiosk has pics of the items which is helpful to see what comes in the ramen. You can pay at the kiosk as well. Of course there is an auto prompt for tip because this is where we are as a society. Obvs tip but know that you will bus your own table and, if you order at the kiosk, there will essentially be no service worth tipping for. Again, tip, but maybe consider leaving a cash tip for services rendered after your meal is complete. I left 20% and feel bamboozled. I don't not recommend this place. It was decent but at $15 per bowl plus tip, I'd prefer the table not be sticky. read more

We have GOT to keep this place open, because it's easily the best Ramen in the area. They're tucked back next to Dunkin, on Plank Rd, so you might need to look a little, but it's worth it. You can eat in, because they've got a little space - not a joint you hit up for "ambiance" it's about the taste! - but their food travels really well if you're taking out. I've done both, and it holds up no matter where you eat it. Not going to lie, while I've tried half the menu so far, the Short Rib is my favorite, hands down. This is the Ramen you dream about (my mouth is watering while I'm writing this). That broth tastes like it's been simmering for DAYS, it has so much flavor! Can't wait until the next absolutely freezing day, so it becomes a now brainer for us to skip whatever we were going to cook for dinner, and just order in. We ordered to go and I wish I had taken pictures. Service was quick (10-12min). The three of us ordered the ramen soup bowls and crab Rangoon. The food was thoughtfully organized for take -out which was impressive and noteworthy. The ramen noodles sat inside a bowl that had another smaller bowl insert with the veggies and chicken inside so the ramen doesn't continue to cook and get soggy. I liked that my bean sprouts still had a delicious crunch to them and the boiled egg was cooked perfectly. The broth was in a separate container so I could add as much as I wanted. The flavors were spot on and not over salted. The curry chicken ramen broth was excellent. Curry wasn't overpowering and looked beautiful. The order of crab Rangoon was delicious and perfect amount for 3 people to enjoy. Definitely will be heading back here soon read more

This was tough. Place is nice and ambiance is great. But the ramen just wasn't. The tofu bowl has fungus in it of some kind that doesn't taste good. The tofu is sweet baked or marinated and the broth isn't salty enough. The noodles are fine but not great. All in all a less than cohesive flavor profile for the tofu ramen. read more

Oh yummy Taro bubble tea with a Tapioca Bobo and no ice and it was just so freaking awesome amazing the perfect sweet. The bobo just has a nice texture.
