Walked into a very empty restaurant on a weekend which took us by surprise. Beautiful decor. Weirdly enough did not have hot water. Got the scallion noodles $18 and pork belly ramen $23. Sadly both dishes were just ok and weren't the best. The scallion noodles were overly salty with soy sauce and didn't taste authentic. The ramen surprisingly had mushrooms which I do really love just surprising twist. The ramen flavor was just alright, nothing spectacular. I do appreciate the portion sizes for both though. Overall good options for this cuisine in the town

Very dark inside at a booth for a quick dinner bite. In my hometown for family support and big dramatic health issues requiring all hands on deck. Friendly and welcoming service, we got seated at a booth in the back near the service station and before bathrooms. Not that pleased with that -it was practically empty. I was there for the bao buns, but we tried the hangover noodles (meh was not a fan of the pad thai noodles used. They got hard, fast) and the shanghai scallion noodles (good umami, good lo mein style noodles.) The philly cheesesteak buns were tasty. Will come back to try more because I love the layout and bar!

I have been to Rhea several times for dinner. We always sit in the front dining room and the banquet is comfy. My go to coctail is Cosmopolitan and the bartender always fixes it tart with light cran, perfect. I recommend ordering a fried rice and then several items to share. The bao buns are so fluffy and slightly sweet. If you are into pork please try anything pork belly on the menu. Service is always attentive and accommodating. Even on a hectic evening during chowder fest we were not rushed.

By far the best restaurant we've been to in Saratoga Springs. The ambiance of the place is perfect for a date night, and the server was excellent. I wish the pulled pork bao buns were a permanent menu item because they were amazing! We loved both of the noodle dishes, and the portions were massive. The host was kind enough to hold our table for a couple minutes because we were running late due to the 4th of July road closures. Overall we had a wonderful experience and cannot wait to come back!

Rhea was an overall pleasant experience while solo dining. Pleasant staff, relaxed ambiance with two hits from the menu. The mozzarella bao bun and sticky pudding dessert were both fantastic. The veggie ramen was okay, didn't blow me away - I wish I had tried the ramen cacio e pepe instead. The mocktail was also tasty, kudos to be able to turn many of the cocktails to alcohol free!

Stopped in for drinks before dinner elsewhere. The specialty drink menu was well covered with every spirit. Had the Mother of Zeus, a refreshing citrus cocktail that cooled the outside summer heat! The outside patio and inside were packed, but we found a standing bar table easy enough.

I've been to Rhea for a one on one dinner and for drinks after dinner and both times were good! Fare was decent and the drinks the second time around were *chefs kiss * very nice touch to the Saratoga food scene!

The drinks were delicious. The shareables were so good. We got the tuna tartare, the snap peas, corn dip and cucumber salad and they all hit! I got the Shanghai noodles and they were amazing. The server was super nice and helpful and the place was very cute and cozy. Will definitely be back!

Cacio e pepe ramen noodles. Exactly how you'd expect.

The ambience is extremely hip which could go along with the menu, which is very very weird, but has the potential to also be hip. The things they decided to fuse in their selection of fusion foods aren't creative or delicious in my opinion. Everything we ordered had a ton of salt and a TON of oil. None of the flavors were surprising or clever, just a bunch of heavily recycled ideas using soy sauce. My Singapore noodles tasted like dry, super hot raw curry powder and the Shanghai noodles tasted like dark soy and like I could make them at home myself. The fried rice arancini had too many competing flavors. I hate to be so critical but they appear to take themselves too seriously. More scaling back with more subtlety and choosing one umami profile per dish instead of four could maybe make a difference. Not interested in returning.

Stopped in because of how chic this place looked and only wanted a quick cocktail before my dinner reservations but was lured in to get food because of how good it smelled indoors - wow! I had the fall margarita - amazing ! & ordered the tuna tartare - so delicious! I had dinner reservations for another place so I did leave after the one drink and the app but decided the food and drinks were too good not to come back. I was on a short business trip so I came back the very next day for lunch and ordered the pork belly ramen and the fried Brussels sprouts . Everything was amazing ! I'd highly recommend this place to anyone in the area !

The food here was so delicious. Our waitress Brenda was very nice. Always made sure we had all we needed. If you go make sure to ask the waitress about the dish you would like to order ahead of time. Some are spicey and we were not aware!

Overall i liked my meal but there were a few things i didn't. - the Kimchi Fried Rice is so worth it! - cocktail wasnt much to speak off - Brussels Sprouts were burnt and overcooked - Bao Burgers was great but a tad expensive for basically street food I would come again and try the ramen and if it was up to par id add Rhea to my list of places worth eating in town.

First impressions can always be influential on an overall evaluation. First impressions upon walking into Rhea on a rainy day were excellent! - A clean modern looking design looks inviting. - Our reservation was on the books. - The hostess offered a location for us to place our wet umbrella. - The hostess asked my wife if she'd like a hook for her purse. (It attached to the table.) - Our server was welcoming and had a good sense of humor. While the draft selection was not huge, five quality beers and a more unique cider offering fit the bill. Add to that another six canned beers and two more ciders and you know you'll find something enjoyable. A dozen wines by both the glass and bottle, and four sake, round out the fermented offerings on the menus at the table. If there were specialty cocktails on the other side of the menu, I never bothered to look since my wife was having a bottle of Saratoga Sparkling Water ($7). Our server offered slices of lemon for the water. I chose to try a Paradox Get Off My Lawn ($7) amber lager. The lager seemed like it was a bit higher than 4.5 abv, but still had a nice malty flavor. One of the evening's Specials that caught the attention of both of us was the Falafel Bao Buns ($13). These were excellent. The buns were light and airy and the fried falafel was delicious with the addition of tzatziki sauce, carrot cucumber slaw, and fresh dill. The chilly, rainy evening naturally called out for Ramen. Let me point out that the ramen bowls look absolutely huge. But this is slightly an illusion because the bowl material is thick, heavy, and balanced on an almost unnoticeable base. But don't get me wrong. I said "slightly" an illusion because once you begin eating you realize that there is a fairly large amount of food in that bowl. My wife decided on the Shrimp Scampi Ramen ($20) with parmesan dashi, nori-garlic butter, white wine, chicken stock, lemon grass, spinach, and garlic bread. Her only criticism was that the shrimp were slightly overcooked. I chose the Birria Ramen ($22) with braised short rib, ancho chili broth, red onions, sliced jalapeño, cilantro, radish, and cheesy tortilla. This was fantastic. The broth was so much richer and more flavorful than my wife's ramen broth. The braised short rib was tender with a good amount of crispiness on the edges. While I managed to finish my ramen, my wife brought half of hers home for dinner the following evening. We're looking forward to visiting again.

I was looking for a restaurant to go when we were in Saratoga Springs in this restaurant looked…read morelike it had a really good menu so we decided to go there. I requested to sit at the chef's table because I really do like to see what's going on in the kitchen and our reservation is at 7:15 and we arrived a half hour early and we're able to be sat so that was nice. We were greeted by one of the servers in the restaurant and then shortly after another came by and asked if we wanted still or sparkling water and that our server would be there with us in a second. It took a little bit longer for our server to come by and he took our drink orders. The line chef started to realize that our server was taking quite a while so we asked us what he wanted him to start so that he can relay it to our server when he got around to us, and I thought that was very nice and great that he recognized that we were waiting for quite a while. Our server finally came back with our drinks and asked what we wanted to get started and we told him that they already started our appetizers. He also didn't come back for quite a while after that and he finally asked us what we wanted for dinner and he didn't ask how the food was or anything. He just said OK cool and put in our food order. When we got our actual entrée, I had the New York strip steak and my husband had the scallops and they were very good. We ordered those entrées because the line chef said they were good and we wouldn't be disappointed and we were not. Our server finally came back around after everyone else buster plates and asked if we wanted anything for dessert and we already made up our mind what we wanted. I ordered the coconut rice pudding and my husband ordered the pistachio cheesecake. Both of those were also very good highly recommend them if you have room at the end of your meal. Our server then came back with our bill and just randomly said he took off one of our desserts because of the weight which was nice but he didn't really acknowledge anything else. We thought it was very odd but also we were happy about that. This restaurant was very good and I think the staff is very in tuned to what's going on in the restaurant if something is not as it should and they communicate to others if they need to start food for people or accommodate other people's needs so that's the only reason that I'm giving it a 4 because the server we had wasn't great but the food and everything else was awesome.

Since it was a busy weekend, we decided to wait rather than scramble to find another spot. The tomato soup looked beautiful but was a bit underseasoned, and we felt the same about the lobster pizza. Everything was presented really well, but the flavors just didn't quite match the visual appeal. Our server also seemed to be juggling quite a few tables, so refills were a little hard to come by, which we completely understand during a rush. That said, the ambiance is wonderful.
