I don't recall ever being in any Kohl's store before last weekend.....when I went to this one searching for Angels jeans. I used to get Angels at TJ Maxx but can't find them there lately. I like the brand cuz all styles fit me so perfectly I never have to try them on. Anyway, at Kohl's on Saturday morning, I couldn't find anyone to point me in the direction of the jeans I searched for. I waded through a crapload of Mom jeans before I finally found the right section of the store. Grabbed a pair of Angels. Waited in line at checkout where only 3 of several registers were open (sign of the times). Good news: my jeans rang up at half-price. Turns out they were on sale, with no indication on the tag or anywhere else that I noticed. Overall, my first Kohl's visit was strange, obviously. And WTH - when I got home & put on those dang jeans, they were kinda too small. Translation: muffin top, OH NO!! This means I went up a size. I'm keeping the jeans as inspiration to try to give up chocolate. Some days, life just sucks. The reason I need the damn chocolate. And I do like TJ Maxx more than Kohl's (but not more than chocolate). read more

Typical dude am I... Really don't care for shopping but if I have to go looking for clothes, undies, yada, yada, yada, One of the places I prefer is Kohl's. The wife and I typically get 30% off of already discounted prices of name brand clothes AND she gets Kohl's cash. Which really just means that we have to go back a week later and do it all over again... It's a vicious circle. The circle of shopping... Thank goodness they've upped my line of credit!!! P.S. Almost every time I go here, I usually end up getting great deals. Especially the coupons via email. I was looking for a scarf since my old one was wearing out, and saw one I liked. But turned away after viewing the price of $32. I later saw a sign next to it saying all scarves half the price off. That's when I decided to get it. In addition the salesclerk acknowledged me to use my $10 credit. That price of that scarf went down from $32 to half the price and on top of that $10 off! Now that's a great deal! Based on my online experience but also this Torrance location. Great experience altogether, their Kohls cash promos are awesome, especially around black Friday, 15$ for 50$ spent is just like a 30% discount on everything there. I ordered online and it took awhile to fulfill but no big deal. Great selection and multiple discount options come in handy when looking for addnl savings. Keep that Kohls cash program running... it's a great perk that sets the company apart from the likes of Walmart and Target. read more

The worst service I ever got and the representative are rude I ordered an online ankle bracelet and they made me comeback twice to pick it up. My mom and I frequently come to Kohl's when we're looking to get clothes and housewares for a decent price (not to mention the great deals we get with the coupons from the mail and newspapers!) This location is a lot bigger than the one at the South Bay Galleria mall and I find that it has a greater selection of products. I have seen a lot of reviews commenting about the poor service, however, I have never had any sort of issue with the service here. All the employees that I've spoken to and dealt with have been very friendly and extremely helpful. The only negative thing I can think of about this store is the IMMENSE checkout lines on the weekends. There were so many people in line, I was waiting almost 30 minutes! But, the long lines had nothing to do with slow service at all, weekends are just ALWAYS crowded here. I will return here again and again. I love this Kohl's. read more

This is for the Amazon Drop off. The native american looking girl with straight black hair working the counter did not acknowledge me. She kept talking to her friend that was standing there (did not see a lanyard on the friend) The entire exchange she did not say one word to me, scanned the code, handed me the return confirmation, all while she was still engaging in her convo. This Manager/supervisor that usually works at Night Shift (slim white guy) is SO RUDE! I was trying to buy a hoodie , I scanned the tag with my phone using kohls app and it showed a price, at register they told me a higher price than the app and I kindly ask to talk with manager and this guys showed up, he said " this is not the price" he turned around and just left, not any another single word was said from him, This guy have not modals at all, if you hate your job just stay home and skip work, this kind of workers should not be in charge of this important and great stores you are the reason that customers prefer to buy online than retail stores and the worst part is that this guys is always at customer service! This store mostly carries clothes for women, men and children. It also carries a limited selection of kitchen and bath goods,small appliances, and decorative house hold goods. They have a good selection of casual clothes including a selection of petite and woman's clothing. If you are looking for high end "name brand", or expensive dressy clothes, Kohl's will not be the place to go. Sometimes there are long lines for the cashiers, so go early if you want to avoid it. However, the lines seem to move fairly quickly. There are always lots of items, mostly neatly arranged except for the super sale items which are crammed willy nilly into the racks. Even so, it is well worth a look see. I recently bought a pretty blue T-shirt for TWO dollars. If you are an early bird, the store opens @ 8AM and sometimes as early as 7AM. The best sales are at the end of the seasons. There are always sales happening though, so if you miss one, don't worry, another will come along in a few days. !0/15/07 I am going to edit my original post. Altho I really like this store, the Two For One Sale..SUCKS. They doubled the prices, so you are paying exactly for two what you would be paying without the sale. Two For One Sale, is BALONEY. Kohls is definitely one of my favorite stores, I specifically love this particular location. Unfortunately, last night I had a bad experience. I went in and shopped for about 2 hours and when I was ready to pay I gave my cupons to the lady and took out my fathers kohls charge. She then said she couldn't accept my payment method because he wasn't present. I understand why I wouldn't be able to use a card that is not under my name. However, I am under my account but I happened to forget my card and ID so I asked her if she could look me up or verify my identity some other way . I asked to speak to a manager because I've paid with my dads card multiple times and I've never been asked for an ID, I understand that the employee had to do this to prevent identity theft but the way things turned out was not okay. The manager, Eileen showed up to the register with a horrible attitude. She asked " what's going on" I said " I'm trying to use my fathers card , I do not have his ID but I am under his account is there any other way I can verify my identity to be able to use the card. I'ved used my dads card multiple times and I've never been asked for an ID" she then proceeded, raised her voice and rolled her eyes and said " that's not true" she then turned around and walked away. I said " this is crazy, can I put this on hold then" she answered me in the rudest way possible " yep you can" and rolled her eyes and just walked away. IT IS NOT OKAY TO IMPLY OR TELL A CUSTOMER THAT THEY ARE LIARS! Customer service has always been impeccable at Kohls but Eileen was not nice, she was rude and maybe mad! Unexceptional!!!! And to top it all, one the cupons expired at 11:59 and by the time I was done speaking to these people it was like 12:03 and they didn't want to honor my cupon all though she had scanned it before 12. I used to buy many of my clothes at Kohl's but their selection has gone down over the last couple of years. It seems that they've changed buyers and many of the women's lines appear to be for older women. There's nothing wrong with this if your demographic is 65-75 year olds. Today I was there for Levi's for my husband. There was one register open but 5 employees gathered around registers talking while I tried to figure out where to get help. I was standing near register 1 which was the one open but they asked me to go stand by register 13 where no one was. There was literally not one single person in line but they asked me to walk to the other side of the store to stand. Of course as soon as I went to register 13 they hit the notification of next guest on 1. I can only imagine that someone was in a power trip asking guests to stand where it really doesn't matter when it's 2pm on a weekday and there are no customers. read more

4/5/2019 came to Kohls at 5pm. I ordered some items online and came to Kohl's for curbside pick up!!! I parked my car in front, called Kohls and gave the lady my order number and within 1 minute she was outside and put my bag in my backseat. It was so simple the whole process. I would give zero stars if I could. We were there 20 mins before closing, I had an emergency needing just two items for work. None of the employees told us (my cousin and I) that they were closing thinking we had enough time we quickly used the restroom. Walking as fast as we could ( I'm currently injured) to the register we were met by a very rude employee and a manager that clearly needs to take a class in customer service. They refused to allow us to make our small purchase. Customer service seems to be non-existent here, communication needs to improve. I see there is plenty more reviews here about their customer service maybe they should read them and actually make a change before they lose business. read more

I am embarassed to admit that I've never been to Kohl's until last month. Being a shopaholic that I am, I give equal opportunity to all stores at least once, but I just never got around to checking this place out even though I am always around that area for coffee/spa/food/whole food...etc. I did decided to check it out for the first time last month because..............yes, Lauren Conrad from the Hills aka LC had a line and there was a piece I thought was adorable that I wanted to check out in person. I also noticed that many other celebrities were offering their own line exclusively for Kohl's so I was intrigued to see them in person rather than from ads. Overall, it was a lower priced department stores which had variety of different private labels which were not found elsewhere. Most everything was also marked down on sale, which was a plus. HOWEVER, HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! I mean... HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! The cashier was so NOT friendly at all and actually almost rude! Not only was she attitude-y, but she ringed me up for an additional item by charging me twice for the same piece and when I caught that, 1) she was barely listening and nonchalant & 2) did not apologize at all. Fine, could it have been because she was pregnant? I personally think you should have nicer attitude when pregnant but okay, I can deal with hormonal issues. BUT! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I went back in a week or so to return some items and get a price adjustment for one of the item which was marked down online! Not only that, since I didn't have time the first time, I made sure that I can return with no problem before buying few things without trying. I was waiting and waiting by the cashier only to be told by the time it was my turn that returns are on the 2nd floor;;; All the cashiers were totally staring at me the whole time because i had a big bag with me! Sigh. I was again, waiting and waiting on the 2nd floor of customer's service where I realized that the girl was SUPER SLOW!!! When it was my turn, she could NOT find my item's skew and I had to TELL HER by showing her the receipt and all! She also said no price adjustment even though it was clearly written on the receipt that there will be price adjustment within 2 weeks! And for the jewelries, I have to go back down and go to the jewelry section which I wasn't told by the 1st floor cashier. All this wait for no reason and this girl was super rude, so not helpful, too busy to rush me away without helping. Once I got back down, the jewelry cashier was ALSO rude. I haven't ever had a good experience when coming here. The attitudes are mainly why. Today it was the fact that I placed an order online for instore pick up only for the one guy to call for help in customer service and instead of the "back up" making me a priority due to me picking up an order the girl helps the people in line who came after me who were there to purchase. Very annoying when I had a better chance of going and grabbing the item my self and standing in that same line so I could have gotten out sooner. When she was finished with the other people that was standing next to me, instead of helping me she walked up to her coworker to joklingly talk to him. He replied to her by saying can you help her (me) after he called me to the counter to scan my phone while he still had a customer. She then went to get my item. That whole time I assumed she just didnt know how to work the bluebird for instore pick ups. Last time I will be to this location they are so far from being personable and friendly. read more

My grandma wanted some sweatpants, so I stopped by Khol's after eating dinner at Panera. To my surprise, they were apparently having some crazy sale where everything in the store was on sale. Like everything. Now, I know the sound of that is enticing, and I know you're assuming I spent loads of money buying a bunch of stuff I don't need, but actually, I couldn't find anything I liked. Even after an hour of searching. Sad, I know. I did get some sweatpants for my grandma, though. I guess Khol's has a pretty huge selection of clothing and toys and household items. Prices are comparable, especially when things are on sale. Maybe the clothing's just not my style? I don't know. But it's definitely a good place to go Christmas shopping. Everytime I went to Kohl's, I needed something specific, each time I got what I wanted. On my most recent visit, I needed a new belt, Kohl's got them at half the price of Nordstorms (probably at lower quality than Nordstorm's, but good enough for me). This is a pretty good Kohls store and I like they are good about having a specific line for online orders. However, it's always a problem when you have to use Kohls Cash here, especially if you have to return an item. Seems like the staff are instructed (or just don't care about) not to refund Kohl's Cash if you return an item; so if you bought something for $30 and return it and used $10 Kohls Cash and $20 on a credit card, they will only refund the amount you paid ($20) and you basically lost the $10 Kohls Cash. read more

However, after seeing Vera Wang on her show last week I was curious to see what her new "affordable" collection had to offer. The answer, not much. The Vera Wang section of Kohl's was skimpy at best. I knew as soon as I walked in that I wasn't going to find anything in "my" size. But since I'd drive ALL THE WAY to Torrance I decided to look around. Kohl's is the kind of store I usually stay away from. Junky, unorganized, clothes all over the place and long ass lines. However, they were having a major sale and I decided to give it a shot. I actually found some cute stuff from the Daisy Fuentes collection. Who knew! Its not the place that I'd go to on a regular basis. I've used online order/curbside pick-up twice. The first time went great. The second time I did not get the pick-up message the next day; I also double checked the order which still said "processing". Because the items were needed for a trip my kids were taking later that day, I had to rush to TJ Maxx to buy the items instead. The next day I got a Reminder to pick up my items. So it changed from processing to reminder with no interim notification that it was ready. This was disappointing, but the customer service manager at the store was really nice about cancelling the order for me over the phone. I was having a tough time getting through to cancel, but when I finally reached her, it was a quick transaction. I would probably not order from Kohl's again for any item needed the next day. This, Is a nice store the staff is friendly enough I suppose however it's hard to track one down if your down stairs.. Up stair I would have to say apparently is where the staff hide because I can always find someone to help me up there.... But other than that I rather like shopping here especially If I need a gift for my Pop.. I love shopping here!!! I can always find what I need whether it be dresses, work clothes or shoes at great prices. The store is well kept and there are plenty of employees to help find what you need. They also carry a large selection of Star Wars / Marvel / Disney clothes for women and men!!! I found this super cute Captain America dress for a steal ($65 online, $12 at Kohl's). Their online ordering system is perfect here!!! I wish more stores would be like them. If I'm in a time crunch, I prefer to order the items online and just have them ready for store pick up. That way I'm not wasting a trip because I know they have what I need. They have text notifications available to let you know when your order is available for pick up. They even ask if you are on the way or in a rush so they can have everything ready for you when you arrive. They have plenty of sales and coupons. THANK GOODNESS FOR KOHL'S CASH!!! It definitely is an incentive to keep shopping here especially when you only pay $10 for a pile of clothes and other goodies. read more
