The experience will depend on when you go: after 5 and on weekends will be crowded with lines. Usually a bit on the messy side too. Go during non peak hours and there will be people who can help you, organized shelves. You can find great deals though on clothing with a little bit of searching, and they frequently send coupons and extra deals. This store is smaller than other Kohl's and not organized like the others, when i shop here I get lost bc the sections seem off in homewares, and the random placing of baby stuff. There is always a line, not that they are busy, but that they don't have enough cashiers working. MY biggest issue with this store is their clearance prices, you have to watch them! Issue #1 they bunch up underwear on a hanger, tag them as if they are to be purchases as one deal (cuz you can't removed them!) Yet.... They want you to pay per pair! It's not the $4 you thought for all 3 (even though that makes sense since they are grouped together!) it's $4 each pair! So $12! No thanks! I can get a better deal and not buy clearance! Issue #2, the clearance price says org price was $20, but the original tag actually shows it was $19 before, so they are charging you $1 more than they should! And you can't argue with them either, bc I tried on several occasions. If you shop kohls, just watch the prices, they are not always good deals, even if they are on clearance (and that's really all I buy from there!!!). Also, I hate that kohls takes off kohls cash first then your coupon, its just so they can have more of your money. read more

There are ALWAYS long lines at this KOHLS. Their racks are always disorganized and clothes are always on the floor. The staff isn't really helpful and they always seem grouchy (at least the ones I've interacted with). They really need to improve on their customer service. read more

Where do I start????? Well first off this place is so nasty. There are cloths everywhere, their restrooms are so dirty, the fitting rooms are so messy, there aren't any workers anywhere to help you (even after I pressed the help botten like 4 times) the lines are crazy long, and it's just ghetto. Honestly I go to every other Kohls in the area and non of them are like this AT ALL! I really think that then workers from this Kohl's need to go to another khols fo trainning to see how to work! Also love that their returns are right up front and not where you have to walk throughout the whole store to the back to return something. My mother in law bought me and my husband a cal king sheet set, which is the wrong size for our bed. We have a king. I asked to exchange it, knowing that the king and Cal king are the same price. The gentleman at the customer service desk didn't know this. He instead refunded me the price of the sheets minus 10 dollars because my mother in law had spent her 10 kohls rewards. So I couldn't actually replace the sheets. I figured I may as well go look at the sheets anyway and see what I could find. I found one sheet set in king size, and it was now out of my budget. They didn't even have the sheets I returned in king. They don't seem to have a lot really. From now on I'm avoiding this store, even though I'm less than a block away, I'd rather drive to a different location. read more

Ive been searching for something to wear for my sisters baby shower (something pink/white) after going to several other stores to no avail i went int to kohhls ( 1st time ever) bam white pants pink shirt ( both on sale) kept browsing and gow about that more goodies. Got to to the line was greeted and bam out the door . the jean rack was a lil dishelved but there was someone organizing a near by shirt rack so im sure would have got to that. Clean store, helpful employees and plenty of parking. The Tyler Galleria is right across the street and target is right next door so that's a plus. The only bad thing is traffic gets backed up because people getting off the freeway end up getting stuck right in the intersection! Idiots. read more

This Kohl's has always been good to me. I've been doing my end of the year shopping here for many years, especially for holidays and birthdays since my family has their birthdays at the end and beginning of the year. I've always been helped and been able to find help despite it being so hectic around that time of year. I see people throw their fit because of one thing or another but at the end of the day, the employees do what they can for them even though they're being yelled at by the customer and their attention is being called elsewhere. Don't bother with this location. Store manager DAVID is one of the rudest people I ever encountered. Horrible customer service. He CLEARLY needs to have some training in how to speak to people as he seems to struggle in that department. I was overly disappointed being that I shop at Kohl's regularly. This store is the closest to home but the employees here, especially the customer service can be extremely rude and snarky. Their application gives out coupons and the store says they won't accept them because they "don't even know what the coupon is" or "it isn't a real coupon" 1 how do you not know what a coupon from YOUR store is? Does corporate not tell you guys anything? And 2 how is the coupon not real if it came from kohl's app directly?? The exchange/return at this store is such a hassle. You cannot exchange a product because they won't let you so you have to refund and lose any rewards or Kohl's cash you used. So even if you exchange for the same product in say a different color you would HAVE TO pay the difference yourself even if you just wanted an exchange. I'd rather drive a little further out or just quit Kohls in general if they're all going to be like this. read more

Definitely NEVER shopping again at this store!!! Charged my card twice for the same amt when I specifically told them that my transaction had already gone thru!!!! It wasn't just a couple of bucks. Manager NUBIA agreed that if eventually my transaction posts after a couple of days I would be able to come back for a refund, boy was I in for a ride!!!! After a couple times of going back to the store a couple days after was NEVER able to get a hold of her and then the other managers were of no help either. So after getting tired of re-telling my whole dilemma to different managers I finally spoke to someone that KIND OF knew what was going on, no help either. This Manager DAVID stated that I had to wait for 1 WK after transaction had gone through, THIS IS NOW 1 DAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS EVE!!!! He then began to say how I needed to take it up with corporate and so on, are you kidding me!!! He then proceeded to take my name and number down because supposeably he was gonna get in contact with corporate on 12/26 and have them return my money. He then stated that he would contact me to let me know what the whole ordeal was, come again this was on 12/23, it is now past the week and have not heard of him yet. I have gone to the store and have not been able to find him or the other manager NUBIA. Nothing but a bunch of LIARS just to get you off their backs!!! As of what I hear from a co worker too their registers are never functioning which is what happened with my first transaction, then they proceeded to switch me up on another register and rang me up again!!!! One of the cashiers said that they had been having trouble with that register the whole morning!!!! THEN WHY KEEP USING IT!!! I wonder how many other customers they screwed over??? read more

The Riverside Tyler store was a horrible mess. Clothes all over the floor, hangers etc. Not an inviting store to shop at. The lines were long only 3 cashiers on a Sunday afternoon. I was charged for the same item twice, was told by the manager on duty Amanda I would have to wait for Loss Prevention to review video before she would credit my account back. Had to call corporate customer service to take care of the issue. District manager might want to review delivering customer service with the management staff at this location. read more

Walked out and spent the money elsewhere. When the store closes and those people are winding what happen all they need do is check yelp to find out why. Super short staffed, unorganized, what's the point of having walkie talkies if they're gonna take forever to communicate with each other. False advertisement. Went in to buy underwear"7 for $35 mix and match" but when I got to the register they told me it was $58. And that I can only select from one rack when the signs clearly stated all the brands included. Staff isn't well trained in what to do in this situation either. the return and customer service associate was very rude with attitude, and he was not helpful WHATSOEVER. Got a gift of a perfume from here and before driving out to this location I called and asked their return policy and the girl on the phone told me that they would still be able to refund me money since I didn't have the gift receipt for the lowest priced within the 13 previous weeks before (okay fine). As I get there the guy at customer service had an attitude saying they were unable to take the gift I had received without a receipt and didn't try helping me out whatsoever total waste of gas and time when the perfume was still in it's packaging perfectly sealed with the price tag on it, the customer service here is horrible ! read more

Be careful about what you buy at this store. I mistakenly bought a pair of LC jeans that someone had returned and cut out the size. When I tried to return them, they told me I cut out the tags and that they couldn't give me the value I paid for them! Even though I had the tags I bought them with on it and the card that I used for purchase. I couldn't find my receipt however their policy clearly states "no receipt, no problem!" so long as u have the card u made the purchase with. Well that policy is a lie!! read more

Davina was very helpful in picking out some hoodies for a gift for my grandson and even went to the back to get the right size I needed! The young man in shoes was also helpful and kind. I apologize kohls.com doesn't seem to have a Yelp and this is the store for pick up my online order so I am yelping here. First off I placed on order on Saturday for 2 throws (order number 4011621614 and received an email hours later that it had been cancelled. Annoyed that your system doesn't know that an item is out of stock, went back online to order something else since you had sent me a "Welcome to the neighborhood" coupon for 25% off that I wanted to take advantage of. Since I had already entered my coupon code the system said it was invalid and wouldn't let me use. I called customer service once spoke with a gentlemen explained the situation and asked for another code to use to place an order, he gave me one which I attempted to use but didn't work. I called back a 2nd time spoke with a later that after I went through the whole situation hung up on me!! Super RUDE. Called back a 3rd time and spoke with Jessica where there was clearly a language barrier. She could not understand me and took literally 45 min. to help me and place my order. I have never experienced such horrible customer service before ever! I have always shopped at Kohls and after this honestly never want to shop with your company again. I do not have 45 min to waste on the phone with someone to order plates! That is absurd. You should look into hiring team members that are quick, efficient, and competent at their job. read more

Nice store, but over priced. I frequently shop at Nordstrom and Kohl's is priced almost the same with less attractive clothing.

They have the worst return policy. Even when it's during the time of year when everyone's returning Christmas presents (and most people don't have enough forethought to give out gift receipts), if your item is on clearance you can only exchange it with an item from the clearance section, nothing for a penny over or a penny less (and said customer is not allowed to pay overage). BUT if you want to just take the store credit for your item, automatically you only get half of what the item is worth. Courtesy Clerk was just the opposite of her title; RUDE. read more
