Hey Kohl's ! Please fix your rewards app! I cannot tell you the amount of times I have gotten logged out of my rewards app and have to reset my password. I have made numerous calls to customer service and this is an ongoing problem and doesn't get fixed! I got a notification on my phone that I have a $5.00 reward. I just tried to use it in the store but because I'm logged out of my app it's not accessible! I was told the reward is not accessible by providing the phone number associated with my account. Kohl's used to be the go-to place for me when I needed clothes, because this area of Reno doesn't have many other options. I rarely buy clothes from here now because there is no variety. They switch out a few racks every week, but the clothes are just moved around. I come back a month later just to find the same stuff! Wanna hear a story? When I was in the ladies' "undergarments" section (lol), the workers seemed very displeased to be working there. I get that they're tired, but they were absolutely cranky and RUDE! They were sorting through the bras and picking them up from the floor, and as I was standing there, one worker loudly spoke to herself, saying "Oh my god, this is place a mess!!!! Ughhh i hate cleaning this up!!" As if it was MY fault the floor was covered in bras. That's YOUR job, and if you don't like it, that's too bad. Those group of bra-sorters were also being loud and yelling across the section about what-goes-where and who-does-what. They were absolutely horrible. AND CHECK THIS OUT-- They overprice things, then drop the prices down with their "sales." Honestly, you'd have to be a fool to believe that those prices are "sale" prices. They purposely start with ridiculously-high prices so they can trick you into thinking you're getting a good deal once they put on sales. I feel like Kohl's is out to screw their customers. Call me a conspiracy theorist. Call me paranoid. Call me what you will, I don't care. I stand by my opinion about this chain and this particular store. I just read another review on Kohl's and the reviewer said Kohl's motto should be, "Confuse the Shopper". I'm gonna go ahead and agree, but make a little tweak...it should be, "Screw Over as Many Shoppers as is Possible". I went in on Saturday to purchase a Keurig. I had some questions about their stock and not one person was on the floor. When I went and asked the cashier, she said no one was there to help me. Are you kidding me? It's Saturday, the biggest shopping day of the week, and you have no one working? Interesting. When I had decided on my Keurig of choice (with no help from anyone. Thanks again), I lugged it up to the register. I made it a point, before leaving the huge sale display, to check the price. It was advertised on sale for $119. When the cashier rung it up, it came up for $149. Oh no, no, no. When I told the cashier it was advertised, with a big friggin' sign for $119, she didn't question me and changed the price. I was ready for a fight, so when she so easily conceded, I was a little taken aback. I asked her if she wanted to double check, because, you know, I could be lying. She had zero interest in making that effort because, "the manager will just agree to change it, no questions asked". Alrighty then. Along with my purchase of the Keurig, I also got a storage stand to go with it. Upon setting everything up, I discovered that the machine sat too high on the stand and wouldn't fit under the cabinets. I packed it back up to return. I just got back from Kohl's and I have firmly decided to not return again. Their business practices are shady at best, and their customer service is non-existent. When I went to return the stand, the customer service cashier announced I would be losing $10 of the $20 Kohl's cash I had earned from my purchase on Saturday. I told her I planned on getting the K-cup carousel, so I asked if she could void the return and do an exchange instead. She said the only way I could save my $10 Kohl's cash would be if the item was the same exact price. I went to get the carousel, and when I got back to Customer Service, I discovered it was $34.99, MORE than the stand, which was $29.99. She said I still lost half of my Kohl's cash. When I asked for her to kindly explain how that would be when I was spending MORE, she just kept repeating, "We aren't giving Kohl's cash today". The manager, who was standing close by, began repeating the same sentence. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. What does that even mean?? After asking probing questions about this ridiculous policy, I finally gleaned that even though I was spending more, because my purchase and exchange happened on separate days, I was losing money I earned. DOES THAT MAKE SENSE TO ANYONE? When the manager realized I was dissatisfied, HE WALKED AWAY. Thank you for proving that customer service is dead. What is $10 to a company like Kohl's? Probably nothing. That Keurig I bought that rang up $30 more than it was advertised? You lost $30 on that scheme, yet you're going to fight a former loyal customer over $10? Absurd. Appalling. There is only ONE department store credit card worth having, and that's a Kohl's card, and here's why. Kohl's Charge customers save 15%-30% 12 times a year special discounts. Spend more than $600 a year (Feb to Jan) on your KC and achieve this status with SIX EXTRA 15% PICK A DAY coupons. Other exclusive offers are the Kohl's Cash sales, where if you use your Kohl's Charge you get $10 coupon for every $50 you spend on the card. Happens every so often. the $10 off $50 are for in store only, but sometimes they overlap with the % off coupon days so if you are really lucky and get a 30% off you can combine it with a $10 off $50 and really clean up. I treat my Kohl's card like my American Express card, and pay it off in full every month before the due date. I don't like very much of Kohl's women's clothing I think they need a new buyer, but they have some nice brand name men's clothing and for an avid cook- their kitchen section rocks read more

I think Kohls has to be one of my favorite department stores. I am not a big shopper but I love a good deal and they always have some great sale racks! It can take quite some time to go through them all though. They clothes on the sales racks are not always organized by size, you can see that they try but a lot of it is just jumbled. That is one thing I would change. I love their fitting rooms though! They are always clean and tidy and are decorated nicely. read more

Awful service. My daughters bought me a watch here and I was looking to get it sized (a few links to be taken out). I called and spoke with a woman, explained what I wanted and asked if they could provide the service. First she said how do I know you bought it here. I told her she could look on my daughters/my account as I gave her a Kohl's charge a couple years ago to establish credit and she proceeded to tell me what a huge favor she was doing by adjusting my watch. Wait a minute... the watch was purchased from your store and you have a way to track the purchase and you are still trying to tell me what a favor you are doing for me? I have tried and tried with this store but it is just deplorable. They really need to clean house with these terrible service people and start over. read more

I came to Kohls today to get a replacement battery for a watch I purchased a while back from here. The gal at the jewelry counter said they only do batteries for watches purchased at the store in case they damage the watch. She was quick to change out the battery and she said there was no charge! LOVE KOHLS and I LOVE my "SO Skinny" Jeans I purchased at the Carson City store this year!! BUT I hate the new ones I just bought the other day. The new ones are the "SO Jogging" and those have a BAD ODOR! They smell like gasoline or something VERY industrial. I had the same problem with a pair of pants I got at Ross last year!! This is a great store. The customer service is usually good, I've only had one bad experience with an employee. I work for a company that's all about keeping the apparel organized and sized. They don't size anything here except the folded clothes so it takes longer to shop because you have to check the tags of each garment to find your size. read more

This location had a very limited selection of sizes for women's clothing. Most clothing was size 12 and above which was a bummer because I needed a new pair of work pants urgently. The store itself is average as far as kohls goes. Whoever their buyer is should reconsider the sizing options they are purchasing. There is obviously a higher demand for smaller sizes since everything was wiped clean. I eventually had to buy pants from the junior section and spoiler alert, they were not comfortable since I'm an adult. read more

The return policy at this store is designed to cheat the customer. The clothing article had a Kohl's tag on it without any clearance markings, yet the refund on a return was 50% of the value on the tag. Never attempt to return anything here without a receipt--no matter if it is tagged or not. You will be cheated. I saw another customer in the same situation. Being an absent -minded "baby boomer" put me in a bad predicament. I purchased two $100.00 gift certificates for Christmas and lost them (along with the receipt's before I got home. I called Kohls right away and they couldn't be more helpful. They were so polite and assured me they would do everything possible to return or replace them. To make a long story short, not once did I have to track anyone down with a dozen phone calls, put on hold or deal with a bad disposition. I had my new gift certificate's in two business day's!! I am not sure but I believe the people I dealt with were Gayla and Joanne. Kudos to Kohls!!! My main store from now on!! read more
