I wandered into the booth at the Rib Cookoff and saw Adam, the owner, hand stitching these locally made leather patches on hats- I was sold right there. I am a career hat wearer and found the most unique hat that looks like a topographic map- had to have it. But I also wanted a Battle Born hat but in blue- not on the shelf... bummer. Have no fear, Adam said he's make one for me just how I wanted. What??? Total customer service and a really neat guy to talk to. As a fellow(former) small Business owner I know what it takes to be successful and seeing his energy and attitude made me want to be a customer. And yeah, the custom hat showed up on time and better than expected!! read more

What's better than a cool, downtown location filled with locally themed clothing items? Tahoe Nevada Love is perfect for finding treats for yourself as well as great gifts for friends and family. I especially love buying from them to share with friends who used to reside here and have moved away. I also enjoying wearing these shirts when I am traveling because it makes for a great opportunity to discuss Tahoe whenever i'm away from home. I made all my purchases at their assorted pop up shops / events. They only recently opened this location in The Basement. This is a great spot for them and their clothing and accessories couldn't be a better fit. Trendy styled tees with designs specific to the beauty and culture of Tahoe. For me the hats and tees grabbed my attention first. The detail is awesome. Some of the hats have leather patches which was embossed by the owners themselves. The shop is cool. The boards on the wall have their logo burned into them. The walls are wrapped with maps of ski resorts and local areas. The shelving is held together with climbing rope. So detailed. Stopping in today and seeing some of their newer designs I know I will have to go back in for even more Tahoe Nevada Love. Absolutely LOVE my items that I got from Tahoe Nevada Love! I first ran across their products in Scheels and fell so in love that I found their website and ordered more. Not only were they great with my order, they were in contact with me about when it would ship and when I received it, they had literally hand-written a thank you card and gave me two keychains!! I have NEVER had such great service and felt so appreciated as a customer. Their products are amazing quality and I am SO grateful to have such an awesome local store. And the value is great! Have have tired to shop here twice this week but both times I have come to the store, it has been closed during the hours it says it's open. This is really frustrating and a huge waste of time, especially so close to Christmas. You would think the store would be open even earlier trying to sell it's merchandise for Christmas. Its a shame because Tahoe Nevada Love has some really cool things. Today I came by at 11:45 when the store says it opens at 11:00 and the doors were locked. There was also someone else waiting outside. You guys are making it super hard to support local shops. read more

Great product, I love representing Nevada local products. They have amazing quality product and styles. My only complaint is their staff is awful!!! I have been to the local stop in the basement dozens of times and this time hit them up at their booth at the rib cook off and every time they have been so off putting. They are less than welcoming, even when we come in wearing their brand. Definitely going to stick the the other local brands that make you feel welcome and more like a local. Not going to spend another $30 on a hat to support a "local" company that makes me feel like corporate sponsor. read more

I've seen a lot of new businesses pop up lately with a Tahoe theme, to the point that the market is hitting saturation. Then I found Tahoe Nevada Love and pardon the cheesiness but, I feel in Love. With the store, the owners, and the story behind the store. This couple found an unrepresented market. Nevada-Tahoe. Not Cali-Tahoe, because everyone assumes Tahoe is Cali, but us Nevada folk are damn proud of where we come from and I am so happy to see a company representing this PRIDE. Ok, so they have a catchy slogan, is it touristy junk they are selling? No freaking way Jose. It's clever, quality products. Yes, there are shirts and hats and beenies and trucker hats with their super cool logo. There are also wooden swiss army style knives with the super cool logo on them (and a mini flashlight!!!). There are wooden can or bottle koozies (is it a k?) that are lined in cork, functional and super stylish! There are bitchin' stainless steel tumblers and so much more. All this and it's located in the Basement- quickly becoming one of my favorite spots downtown. Definitely adding Nevada Tahoe Love to my list of local shops to purchase rad gifts at. The first time my boyfriend, our daughter, & I came to The Basement, it was during the week. the little shops were closed except for Rawbry & Global Coffee. This time we came on a Saturday and finally got to explore the other shops. We are so glad we walked into Tahoe Nevada Love, we got to meet the founders; Adam & Ashley. Two very sweet, outgoing, & down to earth couple! They explained to us how & why they chose the name "TNL". There's actually a really great meaning behind it. We are very happy we found The Basement & the shops that are thriving in it! Thank you Adam & Ashley for the awesome experience! Looking forward to seeing you guys again! Cool little store in the now-awesome downtown Reno area. The theme appears to focus on the fact that Lake Tahoe is at least 1/3 in the state of Nevada. Arguably, the better half, but it depends on who you ask :) Personally I love both sides of the Lake, the way you can love visiting other countries as well as touring your own. I adore the minimalist look of TahoeNVLove apparel and accessories! I hope they make things for my puppy and for the beach, soon. The clothing, etc. is ethically sourced and the shirts are super soft, love it. Can't wait to see what they create next. I'm a huge fan. Also, for the non-local, the Nevada side of Tahoe is usually the coastline you see in photos, like Sand Harbor. Emerald Bay is in California. Both sides have great ski resorts and stunningly beautiful destinations, beaches, hikes, and views. read more

I first learned of this place when my coworker gave me a print of theirs for a special occasion. Let me start by saying that their branding is amazing. There is NOTHING in this store I don't love! Everything is something I would love to own! Since then I have given gifts from this store to almost every friend for their birthdays. Even my Husband, who is the hardest person to shop for, loves everything from this store. We wear their stuff on all of our trips and always get asked where we purchased it! I just love this store and cannot say enough great things about it! From hats to sweatshirts to water bottles to Swiss Army knives... you name it they have it! Thank you Tahoe Nevada Love! read more

The customer service for this business is non-existent. When there one day after Christmas and even though their website indicated they would be open they were not (and we drove over 40 miles to go to specifically to Tahoe Nevada Love. And then we tried to give Tahoe Nevada Love another try this past Saturday afternoon and this time they were open, but we were looking for something specific, but the salesperson there was too busy looking at his phone to even look up or acknowledge that we were in the store. Even when we asked him for what we were looking for he barely looked up and had the personality of a dead fish. This was the final strike for this business.
