The men's shoe section at Dillard's has always impressed me offering companies like Cole Haan, Polo, Sperry and Ecco including sandals from Reef. The only negatives here today are as follows: The upstairs bathroom in the women's section was out of order and I was directed to the bathroom on the first floor. The manager said that they only carry dress shirt sizes 18" or lower. No sale today.

They have the fastest merchandise and the hottest styles for a discount store. On this visit, there were many employees restocking the shelves and they already seemed to be pretty full. I love their shoe selection and prices. Their men's department is not super big but there is a good variety. Their children's clothing and toys area seems to be their largest focus and it takes up a good part of the Marshall's side. There is only one checkout area for both Marshall's and Home Goods so the line gets very long at peak times which is why I try to get in before lunchtime to look for my bargain buys.

Thrift Sh!t Vintage was founded in 2019 by Victor Rodriguez III, who started out by selling vintage apparel while he was still in college. He worked to build his business through local markets. Pieces were sold at UCF and vintage markets around Florida before opening a pop-up in August 2021 at Velvet Velour Creative House in Miami. It was a success and he moved to Proper Studio. In July 2023, Rodriguez opened in the shop's current home in Progresso. This shop specializes in men's and women's clothing. It includes Y2K fashion, retro streetwear, concert and band T-shirts, and sports memorabilia. There was a sale rack when I visited, although some of the rarer concert shirts were priced much higher. A Spinal Tap shirt gave me a chuckle. It also made me start thinking about whether I still have my own box of old concert T-shirts somewhere! I really enjoyed the way the store displays its merchandise. One of my favorite details was an old pool table being repurposed to display jeans. There's also a dressing room, so you can try things on before making your purchase. And if you have vintage clothes of your own that you're ready to part with, they buy clothing as well. This would be a fun outing with friends. The one drawback is parking, which is limited. There is also a sign in the window warning customers not to park at the nearby dog park because vehicles will be towed, so definitely pay attention to where you leave your car.
