I like this Kohls location. They have a better selection than most I've been to. they are also really easy with returns and exchanges! Another great thing is if you're a Kohls charge member and don't have your receipt, they can look up the item on your card and still do a refund as long as it's under all the terms. The return line is always long and slow, the process is a pain and I feel for the people who work behind those registers people can get really grouchy after those long lines and be mean to them. I returned a gift I had gotten once they didn't give me a gift card for it there since I didn't have a receipt, they said wait and it will come in the mail, it didn't for over a month. Called the phone number they had provided us with people there were super mean and judgmental "So someone got you a gift for $150 and they didn't give you a receipt for it? I am disappointed with this Kohl's selection of clothing... while they carry the Vera Wang Princess Collection and the Lauren Conrad Collection, they fail to carry other high end designers like you might find at other Kohls'... and the store is gigantic, so you would think they would have all of these high end designer clothes...but no...:( However, the customer service is outstanding. You're greeted when you walk in the door and the sales associates are very friendly. The worst shopping experience. I wanted to exchange a purse that I got for Christmas! When I got there an employee told me to just pick anything I want as long as it's the same totaled price. When I had pick the stuff that I wanted the cashier told me it should've been the same brand at the same price. Do not buy any Sterling Silver jewlery at any Kohl's store. It will turn on you so it is not Sterling Silver. I wear Ss from other stores and have no problem with it. Ive bought two rings, some toe rings, earrings, and I know something else but cant rem at the moment but all have turned discolored and ugly on me and ALL SAID STERLING SILVER ON THE TAGS THEY WERE PACKAGED WITH!! Be careful to use Kohl's Cash for their online shopping. They have different check out system than in store purchase while using Kohl's Cash. Did more than $50 purchase online in order to get free shipping, but while trying to check out with my $50 Kohl's cash , I was charged with shipping fee because they deducted my total purchase amount with $50 Kohl's cash!, Which means if you have $50 kohl's cash , you have to make new $100 purchase in order to get free shipping. they count my current purchase total amount after Kohl's cash. Also, any new discount will only apply to any balance after kohl's cash value. Kohl's fools customers with their Kohl's Cash program again. It shouldn't be called Kohl's Cash, it's really an coupon. Use Kohls.com at your own risk. I've been. Kohls store customer for years but have never used their onlin service until today and it was a disaster. First, you can't login with your regular kohl's account user name and password. You have to a separate one for purchasing. Next by comparison to Amazon, the process is Stone Age. But the css as per is that, for all practical purposes, an order is not modifiable at all, full stop. Your only choice is to cancel. They say you can cancel but the reality is you cannot do that until after it is delivered. I tried to cancel as soon as I got this confirming email but it was "too late"! Kohl's is what a Department Store should be. Salesperson Sandra was the most wonderful, knowledgeable caring person I have ever meet in a store. After extremely horrible experience at JC Penny, I discovered the Kohl's has a department for people 5'4" and under. Sandra knew you had the department, pointed out where it was. When I asked for a tape measure to make sure the pants would fit my Mother, Sandra called other attendants to find me one. Sandra's caring actions and help....along with a friendly smile will make me come back to Kohl's FIRST from now on. read more

So my friend went to this store as we always shop here and she was getting her girls an outfit and the store was closing down and she realized she lost her keys, and she was looking and looking for them she asked all the associates if they can help her find her keys which no one really helped. So the store closed the so called supervisor closing was not the best at her job! Told my friend to get out of the store and mind you she had her four little girls the supervisor kicked them out my friend said no I need to find my key to leave so the manager Mel or Margaret told her you refusing to leave my store so my friend didn't want to deal with the drama while her daughters being there in front of her she decided to leave and the store manager replied with yea you better get out of here while her daughters where right m there is the worst customer service I have ever heard of! I've come to this location quite a few times since I've lived out here in the valley.. the front register employees are somewhat nice never really had a problem but the pickup/return employees are incredibly rude and not very inviting.. I understand during the holidays it can be hectic and even sometimes overwhelming but each time I've come.. I am a last minute shopper! I always say I'll be prepared next holiday or event but never happens. This was my first time shopping at a Kohls Dept. Store and Im glad I went in. Everyone is so nice and helpful especially Melissa. She is very knowledgable and kind, she helped me look for the specific mattress cover I was looking for, I wanted 2 but the store had only 1. She explained to me that they have a kiosk in store to order one from and get free shipping, how can you beat that! They also have the order online at home and you can pick up in store. Went for an online pickup. Took about 2 minutes and I was out the door. So far so good. When I got home, I found that they gave me the wrong item (which cost double the price). I called in and was on the phone for 10-15 minutes. They didn't really seem to care that they made a stupid mistake and didn't apologize (of course!). When I got to the store, it took them 15 minutes just to understand what's going on and another 30 minutes to look for the item. After all the wait, they figured they don't have it, although it shows they had 7. Instead of calling me and let me know they don't have it, they decided to try a different product on me. At the very end, I got a quick apology from the manager (the only nice person in this location). All together I spent over an hour on their mistake for an item that costs $30. Never making this mistake again. I give Kohl's up to 5 years before they close shop and I have to say that most of their employees are not making any effort to keep a dying business alive. Customer service is not great, they don't know where things are have to ask each other, and still don't know where things are located. The misses/petites section is pretty much non existent, and the lines are absolutely ridiculous. I was buying one item(a purse) and it took 15 minutes in line, I even tried going to the jewlery counter with one women being checked out, while I was waiting to ask if I could check out here(I had my boyfriend wait in the other line so I wouldn't loose my spot..sorry I know I sound impatient but I did have an apt. that I couldn't be late for, especially for one item), another woman came up(a manager..who probably should have been helping the two cashiers up front) if I needed help. I responded, "Yes, I was just waiting to see if I could check out here, I'm running extremely late!", she responded, "Well, are you purchasing a cosmetic, a fragrance, or jewelry?", my response, "Well I have this purse from right there(pointing at the purses)", her response, "I'm sorry you will have to wait in the other line unless of course you want to purchase a necklace or something".....LIKE FOR REAL? So I said it's fine got back in line...where yes my boyfriend has moved one spot in line....I had to be at this appointment and after the MANAGER acted that way I just put the purse down and left. I shop on the Kohl's website often for they have great deals (gotta love the promo codes and occasional free shipping-even if you aren't a kohl's cardholder). I must say the prices at the store are definitely outrageous compared to the online prices. However, I was able to snag an LC Lauren Conrad floral dress in the clearance section ($12.80) and a kids top in the clearance as well ($3.80). Yes I'm very cheap, I know. Just got home and noticed they left the sensor on my dress so I have to drive all the way back to get it taken off. This after them finding a way to reject every single coupon I brought in (without any attempt to find another one that would work, as other stores do). But the worst part was how 99% of every item my son and I looked at was on the wrong size hanger and in the wrong size area; this was in multiple men's and women's sections! Most of the time it wasn't even close, just haphazardly put away, like the people working there were in some kind of race to clear a rack. Every item we looked at we had to dig for the tag to find out what the size really was. Next time I'm going back to the one in Simi Valley; this one used to be at least better than the one at the Fallbrook Mall before it closed. I went here intent on buying ALL of my holiday presents, cookware and a ton of stuff for our new house here. I brought my 8 month old daughter was told they had carts with stroller seats in front, so I didn't bring our stroller. I got there and there were no carts anywhere and the place was not busy at all. Can't shop and carry a baby at the same time. I walked the entire store and found no stroller carts. I asked several people for help, but nobody was really caring to help so I walked out and went next door to target. Spent $600 there - too bad for Kohls. I've never ever given any bad comments on stores before(also had never done it on any other apps). But this time I was mistaken as a thief by them. They didn't have any exact proof, I was just 17, they were just being so CONFIDENT that I stole something because they didn't see anything after the I went out the fitting room which is ridiculous. I'm also in 12th grade, I will take my SAT test two or three weeks later, I'm in wrestling team and I'm also trying out for environmental science team. They wasted me about 3 hours there doing nothing. Eventually, the cops came and proved that I didn't steal anything. But, the people that working there NEVER APOLOGIZED to me. My time is also wasted, just because they can't find it which doesn't mean that I definitely stole it as well. Have them ever thought about that how scared I was? I'm 17 and a foreigner. I can't sleep after that. They were saying that ALL the people they caught FROM ASIA is crazy. They made an really NEGATIVE impact on me. When it becomes the time that people don't have to apologize just because other people have an Asia face and under 18? DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME at that store, cause they are just suspecting everybody looks not so rich as a thief. I came from Asia but it doesn't mean that I will steal. Also, the lady there kept saying that she should be at home that time if it was not me. Nevertheless, had she ever thought about that I was wasting my time? If I'm white and 18 will they still do this to me? And when I was asking why the machine ringed, they just suspected that I stole things in Target too. Terrible Customer Service. I am disabled and went to the Return desk for an item of jewelry that did not work out for Christmas. First, I am on a crutch and had to wait in line as there are no provisions for the physically handicapped. When I was called to the counter, despite the fact I had the original receipt (I paid cash), the tags and the original package, I was told they did not take jewelry returns and I had to go to the jewelry department. There is NOTHING about this on-line or on the receipt, so Kohl's is lying about their "No Hassle" return policy. When I asked the Returns person about this "policy", she shrugged and said I had to go to the Jewelry Department, I hobbled to the jewelry counter and had to wait for the young lady to assist other customers, She looked at the item, my paperwork and immediately started processing my paperwork, This young lady, "Flora" is the one shining star in this whole process. She was friendly and efficient and the ONLY reason why I would ever consider going back to Kohl's. I just hope Kohl's treats her better than they treated me. read more
