This Kohls is in a good location if you are shopping at other places as well. Lots of free parking as well! As with all Kohls almost every day stuff is on sale. Just take it to the little scan machine and see the savings. The store was in relative condition seeing as it was a weekend and MD no sales tax week. It gets 3 stars because there was no one near the fitting rooms, the fitting rooms were very dusty, I left my shoes on, there we're employees walking around without a clue to what they were doing and employees talking about how much they didn't want to be there. That's not anything I want to hear, I understand many people are just working for $, but be respectful of the company you work for! read more

Thank you Kohl's Social Media T. It has been a week since my original post and I STILL HAVE THIS ORDER SITTING IN MY HOME! Again people, Kohl's may get you with their 30% off coupons or Kohl's cash but is it really worth this kind of service? I was told that "a rush" was put in to pick up my order. This stuff has been sitting at my house a few days shy of a month. What other company makes you wait this long?! read more

The cashiers here are incompetent, and the two here are completely overwhelmed. I've been waiting in line for over 5 minutes, the line hasn't moved, and no one is calling for more cashiers. I'm on my lunch break, and about to drop merchandise on the floor and walk out. I'm done. read more

If their was a star for a 0 I would have giving this Kohl's a 0 -Lines are VERY long - Stuff are rude - HORRIBLE Service - Organized horrible - Fitting room ALWAYS a mess - I only come here IF I have to read more

Great shopping trip. The selection was awesome. I was able to find everything I wanted to find. The staff was kind and knowledgeable. The 2 stories was super cool too!! I don't know why this store has 2 stars presently. I've been shopping at Kohl's for a long time, and this store provided!! read more

Warning: If you want to get a new credit inquiry without your consent, by all means shop at this store, and have SAMANTHA help you. That's pretty much what happened to me. She said she would "look me up in the Kohl's system" to see if I had an account. Then, there were a series of questions that she told me to answer. Multiple times throughout this process I asked her you need all this to confirm whether I have an account? And she said yes, don't worry. You aren't applying for a Kohl's account. And then at the end, she rang me up for my purchase and said Kohl's would be sending me a letter and she stapled the APR and interest rate info to the back of my receipt. So basically she committed identity theft and applied for a Kohl's credit card WITHOUT MY CONSENT. NEVER SHOP HERE. THEY WILL PUSH YOU OR DUPE YOU INTO GETTING AN ACCOUNT WITH KOHL'S. THE WORST EVER. read more

VERY rude service. Disorganized lines at checkout (for no reason). Go to Target next door.

I hate to say this, but Kohl's is falsely advertising their "Kohl's Cash" offer. Yesterday they showed the ad with the blonde woman saving money and they told her she also earned "Kohl's Cash." Then she goes off dancing with everyone. We spent over $570 there yesterday and they refused to give us our "Kohl's Cash." We recorded the commercial and plan on pursuing this through legal action and the Maryland States Attorney's Ofc since nobody at Kohl's seems to care. We have called their customer service and went to the store's customer service. The commercial has no specific period of time listed yet they are claiming the commercial does not say they are offering "Kohl's Cash." The commercial clearly insinuates you will get "Kohl's Cash" when you make a purchase. Very, very bad public relations Kohls! It would have been simpler for you to give us the $110 you owe us. read more

This is my favorite Kohl's location. They have the largest selection. Their prices are very good. Their sales associates are friendly and ask if you need assistance. I visited today and was helped by a sales associate. Although we did not find what I was looking for, he directed me to a similar product to exchange my item for. The customer service rep was very helpful. He even asked if I wanted to ring up the additional items I had in my cart. This was unexpected but greatly appreciated. No wait and checked out quickly. I will shop there again. read more

This is a good place for me to get basic, everyday wear. While the price is not bad, it's not any better than TJ Maxx or Marshalls. I usually shop here for Women's clothing. I don't buy things here until it's at least 40% off because I know the price will get better pretty soon. I find the home goods at Kohls are pretty expensive, unless it's 50% off or more. Just from the price and quality stand point, I think TJ Maxx, Marshalls and Home Goods are better places to shop. But Kohl's have more complete selection of items and it's easier to find what you want here. If you want 6 of the same picture frames, you are likely to find them in Kohl's, but not in Marshalls, TJ maxx or Home Goods. read more

Kohl's: easy to shop, hard to buy. I like the clothes. I like price point. They have extended sizes. It is SOOO SLOW to check out! Never has a business with good product made it soooo haaarrrd to let me give them my money and leave. Hangers+multiple flavors of coupons+ folding + chit chat + marketing a Kohls Card + check on xyz for every gol' darn person with six items ....Mercy! Let me give you my money and leave! read more

Horrible service. Long lines in the middle of the day at the customer service area with 1 cashier. I'm sorry I ever set foot in this store. I will stick to TJ Maxx, Marshalls or Ross where you can get real name brands for the same price, if not cheaper than Kohl's. read more

Shantel is the most patient lady I have ever met. We were there during closing time on Christmas eve and obviously everyone wanted to go home. She was super nice about helping us figure out opening a new store credit card, finding a bathroom, and paying the credit card off. When we were worried about the line behind us she kindly reassured us that it's okay. Merry Christmas! read more

Crappy stuffy overstocked store with depressing music to boot. You can't find anything because things are so disorganized. Clothing was scattered around as if a toddler got to them. The store was understaffed; the only employees there were at the registers and not on the floor to clean up. It was a total mess. This will be the next store put out of business by Amazon. Walked in and out in 10 minutes. read more

This Kohl's is meh....It always seems to be a mess no matter what part of the store you're in. To find a store associate at times can be comparable to a game of 'Where's Waldo'. With that said, if you are a regular Kohl's shopper you can expect the same experience here that you have received at any of the other company's stores. So, good luck trying to find anything and if, in the middle of your shopping experience, you decide to leave you can just ditch your items anywhere like the other 100 people that came before you. read more

The nicest most helpful workers and the loveliest cashier working Friday morning at the front door. Thank you!

Gaylene in the Jewelry Department was one of the most exemplary sales people I with whom I have dealt. She was extremely, helpful, and patient. She has a wonderful attitude and customer service focus. This would have been five stars if I only had jewelry issues, but the shoe department is in terrible disarray. No one to assist. Sales signs, two left shoes in one box, boxes of sale shoes very unclear, mixing of shoe types. They need regular surveillance and assistance to enable customers to avoid wasting time. read more

Shopping at this Kohl's was the worst experience I have had during Covid-19. I don't normally shop at Kohl's, but I wanted an item fast, so I decided to try it out with 2-hour in store pickup. My order didn't go through, so I had to verify my identity online for 1 hour with customer service, and was told I could pick it up the next morning. When I go in the next morning, in store pickup is upstairs, and the escalator is broken. Then, after waiting in line, I was told my item is unavailable. Turns out my order was cancelled because the item was sold out, which means it was purchased that morning after I paid for it and before they reserved it. The manager, Tara, was unbelievably stoic and not sympathetic towards my situation, asking if there was anything she could do with an emotionless expression. I said there was not unless should could obtain the item I had purchased, and she immediately turned and started walking away, clearly disinterested. Never shopping at Kohl's again. read more

I had some Kohls cash to spend, and almost didn't even want to use this (essentially) free money because this store is so disorganized. Clothes are strewn everywhere, items are placed on the wrong shelves, and it's a 50/50 chance that the price cards are accurate. I'm never going back here. read more

I love finding deals since Kohls has some great finds that you can stack coupons on as well as earn Kohls cash. On occasion they have super discounted prices on baby clothes, which is what I come here for most. When I'm unable to find an item on store, I like to order online and the customer service here for returns is great and hassle free. This location generally isn't too busy and there is ample parking space--both outdoors in the front and side lots or underground with an elevator bringing you directly up to the store. Awful service. I tried to return something and their explanation of the procedure was so lacking. I understand stores often have a policy of returns only getting you the lowest recent sales price, but both the return clerk AND the manager (Cynthia, 16 years of service, according to her nametag) failed to explain this properly. They have LCD signs that supposedly show the most up-to-date price but come to find out you have to check tags. As I explained to the manager that I was not satisfied, she said to feel free to report my dissatisfaction to corporate. I came home and come to find out, the kohls.com website directs people with problems during their store visit to CALL THE STORE MANAGER. No email, no way to contact corporate. So while I have to admit that was clever on her part, it was still pretty infuriating. I will NEVER shop at Kohl's ever again (I think I may have shopped there three times in my life previously). I told them they could have the sweater. It was not worth $9 in store credit to wander around their crappy store figuring out how to "spend" that "windfall." Summary: extremely poor customer service and awful merchandise selection. Misleading pricing. read more

On a Saturday afternoon there was only one cashier available on the 1F near the front entrance. While I waited nearly 10 minutes to be helped, the cashier requested another cashier 3 times over the PA system but no one came to help him. Then once it was my turn in line, I found out you have to do returns at service desk in 2F. No sign indicating this at 1F cashier counters. In Aspen Hill they have a large Customer Service desk right up front in that store. I won't return to the Gaithersburg location again. read more

This kohls store is fine, just like any other branch. This review is for their poor selection of hosiery. They usually only carry large sizes. Each time I come here to buy pantyhose, I end up sifting through the entire selection and can't find my size. Please stock up on smaller sizes in A or AB. Also there should be a sign or railing, like other branches have, that indicates where you form 1 line for the cashier. By experience, I know that you form 1 line until the next available cashier is ready to call up the next customer, but those not familiar with this "rule" end up forming a line in front of each register. read more

My go-to store for great deals on clothes, shoes, and makeup. I'm frequently asked where I shop - the clothes are well made and stylish. Being a picky shopper over 40, I'm never disappointed and highly recommend a shopping spree there. You will need some time since there's always a nice selection. read more

Extremely bad experience with Kohls.com. Placed an order to be delivered then immediately tried to change it to a store pickup. Couldn't do it online do I called customer service. After waiting for my turn in the que, I spoke with a woman who told be that once the order was place I could not change the delivery options. I waited on hold for a supervisor for 10 minutes but when I was finally transferred the supervisor did not pick up! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! read more

I love Kohl's. Everything is always on sale and I always have a 15%.20%, or 30% coupon. I have purchased a lot of home goods, and apparel from the men's department, junior department, jewelry department, and also from the large shoe department. They have names like Vera Wang and Chaps. It is the best bargain store around. read more

I keep hearing on the news that Sears is going to go out of business and the main reason I do not believe it is that Kohl's will have to go first. It has been years since my last visit, as I live in Washington DC, and they do not carry anything that any other department store carries, however I looked online for Mega Bloks and found them cheapest at Kohl's and I was going to go to Gaithersburg anyways. So, I bought them online and went to the store to pick them up, When I went to the store to pick them up, it was the 60 piece versus the 80 piece. Ah. no wonder. Now I blame myself for that except that in all fairness. the picture does not clearly display that and the regular suggested retail price was $19.99 like all the other stores, yet theirs was on sale. If you do an online search, you will see what I mean. You make the call for yourself. Now, for the in store experience. I entered into the store and observed the sign that said, "Online purchases pick up at customer service." Yet, I did not see a customer service area, sign, arrow, follow me footprints like in hospitals, nothing. All I saw were two women working the cash registers. I walked around for a minute, and then went to the register and asked one of the women, where customer service was. She told me it was upstairs, and pointed towards the back of the store. Now in full disclosure, she was with a customer and I was that guy who interrupted for, "A quick question." And yes, I hate "that guy" and I hated having to be "that guy", but the only other option was to walk around looking for an upstairs in a store with no floor staff and no signs! So, I went to the back of the store and found an escalator hiding behind the clothes racks, and upstairs to the customer service area. I kid you not, the people behind the counter look like they are in jail with the columns every couple of feet, no line markers and not sure which space is a counter. Three employees and just me, so I stand there staring for a second to be acknowledged and after a short uncomfortable moment, I walked up to one of the barn stall windows and asked, "customer service? I have an online purchase" "Kelly" asked me to step down to another barn stall and asked me for my order number. Every other store I have gone to asked for you last name, because who actually has their "Order number". But I would not be defeated because "Kelly" gave the only guy standing in a non-line customer service area plenty of time to look it up on my outdated cell phone as he waited to be acknowledged. So I gave "Kelly" my number, she rang me up, then came around the counter, went into the back and came out with the package that I apparently ordered, but did not want. I told her that this was not the item that I wanted and asked if they had the 80 piece. I kid you not, she looked it up on the computer and said, "We do not carry that...you can look in the toy section." I kind of think that she said the first part to herself and did not realize how loud she said it, and I thought about asking her, but at this point it is a coin toss and I was not leaving this store until I had an answer,,,yes I was that invested!!! I asked "Kelly" where is the toy department, and it was a 50/50 chance being the first left or the second left. "Kelly" gave me the second left and it was the first left. "Kelly" me thinks ye are in need of training, maybe even walk around the store. OK, I am in the smallest toy section I have ever seen. I have seen more toys in a 7-Eleven. I do not see Mega Bloks anywhere. Not even the ones I just bought. I looked through every toy as if I dropped my green keys in the grass. I did find a plastic container of Mega Bloks that did not have the ones I wanted, but they where under an "On Sale" sign, so I looked for the price. You guessed it, it was not listed on the sale sign and it had no price on it whatsoever. I threw up the white flag of failure, and returned to customer service to see "Kelly". I wanted to make sure that I got a receipt for the cancelled order because I knew I was never going to step into a Kohl's again. Keep in mind, this was a Monday around 4pm, 10 days before Christmas, and the parking lot was packed, yet this store had maybe 15 customers, so I am wondering if I was the only one that did not get the memo. You know the only restaurant that has plenty of table space on a Friday night. read more
