This Kohl's sucks. And has gone to shit. All the employees are not helpful. They're all incompetent. They should have younger people working here. Why don't they crowd around to do your meetings before shopping hours. Only like 4 registers open but all 30 employees are having a meeting.... During shopping hours that's so unprofessional. One employee came up to me on line yelling at me but I had my head phones on should I couldn't hear her. This was a terrible terrible shopping experience. They need a entire new attentive staff read more

Beware of getting a Kohl's credit card. I was charged late fees on bills I did not receive in the mail. I never consented to on-line payments only, and the agent on the phone insisted I must have (alluding that I was lying). After speaking to a manager it was revealed there was no record of me requesting on-line banking only and that I actually requested to have my bill mailed to me, when I spoke to an agent previously about another bill discrepancy. There are good deals on quality items here, however I will never use my Kohl's card again, which is unfortunate, because many of their deals only qualify when using your Kohl's charge card. read more

Dreadful customer service and a ridiculously long check out line. This past Sunday around 3:30, my husband and I waited in line for over an hour before we reached the registers. There was no manager there to help move the line faster and open up the remaining registers. The associate working behind the jewelry counter did not have any other customers, so I asked if she could ring up the clothing along with the jewelry I wanted to buy, but she refused. She said I could only purchase the jewelry and would have to then go to the other line to pay for the clothing. When I explained that I had a coupon (Amazon return) that was a one time use only, she told me to take everything to the main check out line. Her alienating demeanor and unwillingness to alleviate customer stress given the horribly long line was appalling. I've been to other Kohls stores that have supervisors direct customers to the jewelry counter when lines are too long at the main registers. Sadly, this particular store location takes its customers for granted and does not care how it treats its customers. Good customer service requires more cashiers to accommodate for weekend volume. read more

I am keeping the rating the same for the variety factor and because I do like the store. Can't beat the prices and the discounts. Love the downstairs with the scented candles and all of the bed spreads and towels. Something about that area is just so serene. The long lines move pretty fast usually. Store can be a little messy, especially in the men's active wear. Hard to find adidas pants and sweatshirts on the correct hangers. Suit coats are also not put back on hangers that match their size (48 chest jacket on a 40 hanger). Make sure to inspect for sizes before buying. read more

Very disappointing. Everytime i use the pick up in store option they always give me the wrong item or wrong size.

Smh....paid almost $80 for a toaster that almost every other reseller (Amazon, Macy's, Best Buy) Is selling for $49.99 for exact model. Website also listed a better price. Some serious bait and switch goin on here...smh read more

It's really 0 stars, but since thats not an option....this review is specifically for the dissatisfying and unpleasant experience given by the associate specifically working in the JEWELRY SECTION. Reconsider your job in customer service, because you're terrible at it-and that's just me sparing you! I went in for a fragrance the Kohls website said would be ready for store pick up. Unfortunately, they're the only store that carried it, so truthfully, I had no choice but to even go there to begin with. I get there and head to the fragrance section and there's no associate in sight. Fine, no problem. I finally see this associate walk over to the jewelry section and is working on the register. I walk over and asked if she could assist me with locating a perfume (literally trying to give your more than half empty store business), but instead of being any help, and perhaps because since she couldn't make a commission off the sale, she ignores me and acts as if she's more busy than the President. She was extremely rude in saying she "didn't know where the associate for fragrance was" and kept repeating " I don't know" to every question I had, not once making eye contact, in the most uninterested and dismissive way , as if she couldn't be bothered by my presence. I walk away refraining from cussing her out and decide to do their job for them, and look for the item myself. Another associate by that time had walked over to fragrance area, to which I stop her to again, ask for assistance. She at least put forth more effort but alas that wasn't her department, so she then proceeded to head over to the jewelry section where the first associate was posted, to check with her. I step away continuing to browse while waiting for an answer, but was still in ear shot of their conversation, enough to hear the rude associate (who completely changed her demeanor mind you) tell the other one, that the fragrance person had left for the day. Are you freaking kidding me?! So, exactly why could she not have disclosed that when I initially asked?? What would that have taken out of you, seriously..? The second associate still couldn't give me a straight answer and so I left without purchasing anything. S/N : how does no one know to check store inventory or explain what limited stock meant? LOL, but I digress (the item said ready for store pickup). Lady, I hope you read this review and know that you're a bitch! I dont know who the hell you [think] you are but you need an attitude adjustment. And I sure hope you're not a manager because Kohl's would need yo skt you down and retrain you. If you're that miserable, you should've called out from your shift instead of being rude to customers who require you to do your job. No wonder this location has such bad reviews...figures. read more

Love shopping here ! So many workers to help you find anything you're looking for and a lot of cashiers to move you along quickly . They have really great sales also , and you gotta love their kohls cash ! Only thing is you have to use it by a certain date and I can never remember to use it . They have a lot of sales now , 40% 50% and coupons !!!! I saved so much money ! read more

Amazon return line takes 25 mins on a Sunday. So many open registers. I will never come here again. Hire more employees you stingy business. Huge line for shopping also and many empty registers. I wish this place was still a Kmart. read more

Parking lot right outside and walkable to bus stops. Reasonable prices and lots of options. Downstairs and upstairs and usually a small line but not too crazy. Usually really quiet downstairs, the amazon return is downstairs and they make the signs really clear. Clean and friendly staffs. Alright quality and okay designs, not my place to buy clothings maybe some sport wear but usually not. Other products like appliances are good though read more

3 floor Kohl's, quite massive! The entire store is very well organized but sadly, the baby section for clothes looks underwhelming with it's layout and poor selection in their clearance racks. The clearance section for the baby section doesn't have that many great brands. The one in Rego Park, you would find Nike, Adidas, Carters, and more. The ones here are very boring and tacky. 3 floors but only 1 floor has registers! The madness! It's bad enough that only the main level has registers, but I can't even figure where the line starts. Another odd feature about the entrance to this Kohl's, the main door isn't automatic but the one to the side is! I see a bunch of mother's with their strollers using the non-automatic door because the side door is poorly visible and since the main door isn't automatic, we all have less reason to believe the one on the side would be automatic! Why not just make both door entrances auto!? read more

I like this Kohl's. They have a huge parking lot, it's very convenient. The customer service is very good and friendly. They always have a lot of deals going on here. This Kohl's is very big. They have a basement for accessories and some women's clothing. First floor women's clothing and jewelry. Second floor is men's and children's clothes and toys. read more

This review is for online order pick up only. It's not as convenient as you think. I ordered 2 items (2 different orders). When it's ready for pick up I get an email with an order number (no upc code) for each one. When you get to store, you have to go to customer service in the back to get an associate to help. The associate then have to take you to a register to look up each order (she have to key in each order) to get corresponding information to locate the items in the back. When she retrieves the items, she again have to key in the order number to ring up the transaction. So this supposingly convenient transaction take almost 15 minutes! read more

This location used to be a Kmart and before that it was a Bloomingdales, I guess as the neighborhood changes business moved in to cater to different demographics and each of them didn't seemed to last too long The stuff they carry are good value, we have bought tons of towel from this store, and that similar quality ones usually goes for more at other department stores Can someone explained to me why kohls only have register by the door instead of having it around the store in different departments? There have been times that I just gave up when the line was around the store? read more

This Kohls is like mom's neighborhood department store. She loves it there and whenever i go home...i go with my mom there to browse essentially. OK so for Kohl's as a chain - If you have a Kohl's card, if you spend a certain amount, you get "Kohl's Cash" back. Something like 10 bucks for 100 you spend or something and you can use that as cash to buy Kohl's products. One reason why my mom like shopping b/c everything keeps adding up. Buys, returns, everything. Why do i like it? They have a decent selection of stuff, clothing is competitively priced and it never seems too crowded where i get flustered with so many people around me. The whole area is ok - they have a large parking lot, a 5 guys, starbucks in the area - applebees across the street, A movie theater and a bar/restaurant down the block (used to be a hooters it's something else now). read more

I typically like going to this Kohl's even though I live very close to one in Brooklyn. This Kohl's is definitely a lot bigger than the one near my house. It has 3 floors of endless items, clothes, and everything you need for home and clothes. Lines are crazy especially on Fridays, weekends and during the holidays. However, there are instances where the line does move fairly quick if there are a lot of cashiers. I usually find what I want at this Kohl's and since I have skin allergies and most of their clothes are cotton, it works out perfectly. I also enjoy that send loads of coupons or deals online and via mail. One thing I dislike is that the Guest Services line is usually slow-ish, but I tend to take care of what I need to do quickly. I also love that this Kohl's is close to different restaurants, fast food spots, clothing stores, and the AMC theater. read more

This place replaced the old K-mart and is just like the old K-mart. The difference is that it is cleaner than the old K-mart. On a side note: Dear Kohl's please hire some Chinese people here, so that I don't have to translate for some little lady for you guys. read more

You can't beat this place for customer service. The eyewear products are of low quality, don't buy sunglasses here, the selection of clothes have improved but the kids shoes could be so much better. Always come with a coupon - the items are pricey without it... most of the kitchen products are very good quality. Easy to shop here especially when the lines are short. read more

I am still on a bargain-hunting high after buying a great pair of Nike running shoes here for $45. I had to pry myself away from all the adorable Candies clothes, the Vera Wang pajamas, and the Home section where pretty much everything was 50% off, including several paintings and prints that just happened to match my blue/green and chocolate brown living room. Reminding myself that $20 per item (while a steal) can quickly muliply when you're picking up everything in the store, I bravely resolved to come back another time when a true shopping splurge is in the budget. What a pleasant surprise--I'm glad my sister had to use a coupon or I never would have thought to come to Kohl's for anything but kitchenware. (They sell all the Food Network stuff here, and I'm a total junkie for kitchen gadgets.) Beware: there is also a Nine West in the same plaza. And free parking. You might be here awhile. read more

This department store is clean and convenient. There is a large selection which is kind of organized. There is also a large staff that can be very difficult to find. For example, a few months ago I was shopping with boyfriend because he needed new sneakers. I left him at a little shoe bench with our stuff and went to grab a bunch of different styles. I had a couple boxes when another man approached me and asked for help. I was taken aback. I was dressed in a crappy t-shirt and jeans, and not wearing a nametag, but because I was carrying shoes and no one else was in sight, he thought I was the employee. Not ok! But it is easy to find the employees during their pre-shift sales pep talk. It was great to hear all about how their numbers have gone up and down and up and down over the last couple of weeks... not. read more

Nobody knows what happens around here. The lines are so out of order. I just needed to pick up an online order. It was a mess. Disappointing shopping experience. Not again ordering online with Kohl's. Edit: The guy at the pickup counter was nice and helpful though. Went quick and smooth. read more

Came here yesterday to look specifically for nike running sneakers. It was probably around 6pm. I went to the lower level and it took me 20mins to figure out prices for each shoe because a lot of them were missing prices. The boxes were all over the place in wrong sections and when I finally found the shoe I wanted I couldn't find my size. Another 20 mins looking for another size. Then I go to wait online and there are screaming children running around giving me a headache. I feel like the workers should have made a point to find the parents or even scold the kids. I've seen it done before and it works. I don't know about anyone else, but if that was going on and I was shopping for more than 20mins on that floor I would have walked out of the store. So besides children and the unorganized shoe rack, it was ok for the short amount of time I was in there. read more

Expensive, unorganized, no body willing to help you, my shopping cart was taken while I had my baby's stuff in it, and when I asked the employees they were like go search for it. Seriously?! I had to run look around all three floors with my kid screaming and of course I didn't find anything. I had so many bad experiences at this place, I will never go there again. read more

-Generally a clean store -Three floors -Discounted areas are a bit messy -Prices are good when heavily discounted. -Parking is free and there is a lot of it -They do not carry much that interests me but they do have a lot of 'stuff' Tip: Often if not always when you log into Kohls wifi, it will bring you to a page where you can get the coupon of the day. So make sure before you swipe your plastics that you log onto the wifi and get some sort of discount at the register. read more

I don't like coming here bc of long lines so i mostly shop online. Just came back for a return of an item. Bad decision! long long line at the return center. Wasted the longest 30 min of my life. I only had one item but ladies ahead of me had like bagful. Crazy. And this was during the 40 minutes before closing hour on a weekday. I originally thought I can come in and out less than 5 min. By the time I was called, the customer service was not as good as well. The cashier wanted to leave and go home already. read more

Kohl's - Department Stores Near Me - FRESH MEADOWS, New York

I only go here because it is convenient. Every time I go, I am reminded why I prefer not to go here. Kohls prices are too high. They have a business model where they give Kohls cash to get you hooked, but even that is not worth it. I hate going here, and do not need a reason to go back. My last experience was extremely frustrating where Kohls would not even honor the sales price on display. The sign clearly displayed the sale without stating any limitations or restrictions, yet somehow the management there was treating me like I was a criminal for wanting them to honor their sale sign. I have $20 in Kohls cash right now. I would rather burn it, then go back there. read more

If I could give it 0 stars I would. They charged me $1,118 instead of $118. They realized their mistake and said they would fix it but didn't. Called my bank and they said I have to talk to kohl's. It's been over a week and their incompetence is beyond belief. They still have yet to fix the problem. read more

Absolutely terrible service!!!!! The so called store manager is my reason for this terrible review. I wish I could give zero stars. I love Khols but believe me when I say do not waste your time in this location! First of all, I went in here with my father and my daughter. My Dad needed to exchange a pair of sneakers for another size, he asked a sales person if they would be able to check if it was in stock in the size that he needed, she explained that she was new and didn't really know how to do that and turned us in the direction of customer service desk- (okay, totally understandable). So we pick up a few things before heading over there. We get on the line and wait about 20 minutes- (we are still being patient at this point). The girl behind the desk says she can look it up to see if they have the size that we need but it would take her some time and the line is long, we should just go check in the sneaker aisle- (what?!) She decides to check it after we basically beg her and they don't have the size... Well okay, can you ring up these items we have- she says no you need to go back to the check out line...... Seriously?! We then see a manager who doesn't have a name tag and she literally ignores my father- like IGNORES him, and turns her back and walks away. He then says excuse me a few times and she's turns around and says DO NOT RAISE YOUR VOICE TO ME--- she just walks away and says follow her and goes to a cashier and says to the cashier- "deal with these people"--- this is when I get involved and I follow her and ask her to see her manager, she's like I'm the store manager and trust me, I was SHOCKED! I asked her if this is really how a manager conducts them self? She's like EXCUSE ME AND WHAT WAY IS THAT? I said with an attitude and she's like, what attitude and since she's basically getting loud with me my Dad walks over and says you completely ignored me and she's like listen sir and waving his finger in his face, your phone rang- which is true and like a human being he looked at it quickly to see who was calling and that is when she walked away. I'm like this is the attitude I was talking about, I need your corporate number and your name. She tells me after you pay you can find the number on the back of the receipt and I'll give you my name when I'm ready. Yep.... When's she's ready so I googled the corporate number and called them myself... Hoping to hear back soon. In conclusion, if that was really the store manager then how do you expect the employees to actually do their job!?! read more

i believe this is the second time i've been here in about a decade. i remembered why i do not shop here. the selection is meager and staff is hard to track down. the guy at the register was patient with us and looked up our kohl's account number, but overall, was kind of like pulling teeth. i MAY be back once more to try but it'll have to be on a desperate day where my patience abounds. I do like Kohls but I don't like how their signs always say 30% off the ENTIRE store and yet there are exclusions that you only find out about once you get to the register. Doesn't "entire store" mean everything in the store? It's nice when, once-in-a-blue you get the 30% coupons in the mail, but that's not very often. The store is a bit pricy but it's pretty good for the most part. They have really nice clothing and accessories. I also like their make-up department. The shoes are nice and I like that they sell home appliances as well. read more

Kohl's - Getting this babe! - Department Stores Near Me - FRESH MEADOWS, New York

This is an ok Kohls, but it was a little dirty and disorganized.

Shopping- all girls are supposed to love it, right? Nope, not me. I get scared at the thought of going in a department store and milling through racks and racks of clothes to find something I like at a decent price. On the rare occasion I do find something I like I end up trying it on and hate the way it looks! I can go in the dressing room with a pile of clothes that I randomly choose and come out with one item- so not fun! Damn, why do guys have it so easy? Well Kohl's definitely is a place that makes me enjoy shopping. I still shop in the Juniors section here and it is not that big that you get lost in racks of clothes but it still has enough of a selection of different styles. Although the sale racks can be a mess, the area as a whole is pretty neat. I usually end up coming out of here with a few items and they almost always have some sort of sale going on along with coupons! If I can save money I love it even more! Yay Kohl's, way to make me enjoy shopping! This place has three floors including shoes, lingerie, and housewares on the bottom floor; women, juniors, makeup, jewelry, and accessories on the main floor; and men's and children's on the top floor. A one stop place to find many nice new items for everyone in your family! The dressing rooms are very bright and the rooms themselves are pretty spacious with enough hangers. They are located in a shopping center so there is a lot of free parking which is a great perk as well. read more

Is it really that hard to get items that were bought online for pickup? Surely, this Kohl's knows how to choose their employees wisely and by wisely, I mean, excellent at employing incompetent workers for customer service. Not only was the so called, "representative" extremely rude and unprofessional, she really can't do a simple task. Guess that's why they were stuck working at night so they would see less customers versus during the day time. I am still waiting for my online pickup and it has been over 30 minutes. Get it right Kohl's, you really don't need a HS diploma to get these things done. read more

I placed an online order for store pick up and then I went in the following morning to pick it up. I got my stuff and then went shopping around the store, but I looked in the bag to check things out and I noticed that one the pants I ordered was not the correct one, so I went to the section it came from and found the pair I wanted. I went back to customer service to show the associate and i explained to her I got the wrong pants and I found the right ones and she treated me like I was doing a simple exchange and did not apologize for the mistake. I repeated what happened again just to make sure she understood that the person who picked the stuff for me messed up but again I did not get an apology. I got the impression that she did not care and was only interested in doing the exchange quickly and getting me out of there. A simple acknowledgment of the mistake was what I wanted. That is good customer service. Instead I felt like she was trying to get rid of me. I had to add more to this fail of a shopping experience. When I got home, I tried the pants on and there was a huge stain on them! Now I'm really pissed. read more

Last time I reviewed kohls they sent a feedback survey. I filled it out and expressed my concerns about having a dedicated line for pick up orders. Since that last visit I've returned a couple of times and noticed they now have separate pick up and return lines. I was able to skip past all the returns and get my pick up much faster than previous times. I was happy about not having to wait on the people returning items as there were at least 6-8 people on line. They do still need to work on locating the orders faster (the drawers they have to hold the pick up orders looked confusing and small and the workers complained about the system to locate the orders). In any case it's an improvement and I appreciate that they listened to customers. Hopefully they'll keep improving the process. read more

Kohl's is one of those places that I forget about. I mean they have EVERYTHING here, but I rarely come in. This is probably the only Kohl's I've ever been to but they have quite a good selection of clothes, toys, kitchen products etc. Much better than Macy's IMO. Simply because its not as busy and not that much to navigate. You can get all your essentials and the best is if you have a coupon even more savings. Also if you spend a certain amount of money you get cash back to use on your next visit. What's not to love? I'm giving this place 3 stars simply because the staff seemed like they were lacking. Doesn't seem that there are enough people to ask questions that's all. read more
