You're here for the Amazon returns, and you know it. This Kohl's is generally nice. It's typically a quiet store with easy enough parking outfront and the only real issue is there's a very rude woman that works at the customer service counter in returns and loves to yell at people. Stand in the wrong place, she yells at you. Real great experience when most people are coming to return stuff. This Kohls is very much representative of your average Kohls experience. It's a massive store that seems staffed by only three people. You can return your amazon packages with ease and get some Kohls bucks back in the process that you'll never use. read more

I stopped by here to do an amazon return and the line was quite long, especially before noon. I would recommend having two lines at the most because there were a lot of returns. After this experience, I prefer the Whole Foods location for returns. I don't think I will use this location again for that purpose. Overall, a well-kept store and clean! read more

Probably my favorite place to buy new clothes. The local thrift stores are still great for used clothes. I've gotten very good deals by using the Kohl's app (which keeps track of your account # and special offers) and Koh's cash. They don't always stock what you need, but if you have some time and can search, you could find good deals. We also gotten a good deal on kitchen items like a multipot, luggage and also vacuum cleaner here. Just watch for the sales and make use of all of your offers. read more

This is a pretty decent Kohl's. They have a standard amount of products, I haven't ever gone in looking for something that I couldn't find. The sale prices can be amazing- and I love how they have those price check machines like Target- it saves you so much time! This store is fairly organized, I never see anything unpleasant. The employees are all very nice- they chit chat as you check out, and can often be found to answer your questions throughout the store. All in all, I don't consider myself a hard-core Kohl's shopper but there are things I will always come here to buy- like bras (best selection as far as sizes and prices!). read more

Today I tried to place an online order. Impossible to place order. The prompt said to call the toll free number to complete. Got a person who hardly could speak English. Could not find the order. I think it was a scam to get personal information and credit card information. Last time I was in Kohls to purchase something, a woman followed me into the men's clothes changing room to see if I was going to steal a cheap undershirt. Have not been in Kohls in a year and I will never go back , or order anything from them again. read more

I'm more of a meh to OK on this. Would I go back? No. Unless you're a good friend who won't take no for an answer. It's very popular with my "peer group" the middle age Mommas but I'm not getting it. I guess Kohl's Kash is very seductive. The lighting is dark, the displays are unimaginative, the clothes are blah unless you have a cute toddler girl which damn, I don't. I mainly went there to look at bedding and it all looked like stuff you'd put in your guest room for your mother in law. The towels were all ordinary and not very good quality. The prices weren't enticing and confusing. Two positives are it was neat and we were greeted by an employee who also said goodbye even though we exited empty handed. At least I know I can chuck all the koupons into recycling now. read more

This is actually a review for The Patterson Place location in Durham but I assume the inside is all the same. Please tell me WHY all of your female mannequins are without hair = BALD?? Have you not considered how hurtful cancer patients or cancer survivors may find this? As a woman who has lost my hair I find it very offensive and hurtful. Your store may say I am being too sensitive however I would think all Kohl's Stores would want to encourage more shoppers not send them away. read more

I like Kohl's in general for their sales and Kohl's Bucks. Their layout is ok with me. I know where items are, and can find what I need pretty quickly. They need to hire more people to keep the merchandise neat and presentable and most of all hire more damn people for the registers! I shouldn't have to wait as long as I do to checkout! read more

The worst Kohl's experience I've ever had. We were looking for jewelry and there was nobody in the department to help. My mother went to customer service asking for someone to help us get something out of the jewelry cases. We wait 10-15 minutes, nobody comes. We go back again and ask for some assistance. Another 15 minutes pass and nobody comes. We finally just left the storm and will be going elsewhere to find what we need. Horrible customer service. read more

I have been here a few times over the last few years and honestly it is just like any other Kohl's store. Nothing really distinguishes this location over any other Kohl's store that I have been to. In general they have all the same stuff, same prices, same sales, same layout as just about any other Kohl's store. As others have said, I too find that they do not have many staff members to keep lines down or to help in the different departments. Many of the displays are not really kept neat. The staff themselves have been mostly friendly. One or two have just looked bored or like they wanted to be anywhere else. Overall, not really a memorable experience. read more

Horrible! Everything looks trashy! I go in and feel like taking antidepressants because it feels so desperate. I know my sister loves the one near her but this one looks like fat hookers would buy the clothes. Go to Dress Barn, the people speak to you and actually look like they hAve the will to live. read more

I've enjoyed shopping at Kohl's stores in other cities, but this one is a disappointing mess! Racks and shelves are neatly labeled -- but what's actually on the racks is anybody's guess. Brands, styles, and sizes are jumbled together so that it's impossible to find anything. I assume local store management is minimizing staffing to keep costs down, but they need to consider the effect on customers' experience. No amount of advertising or customer loyalty perks will keep me coming back to a store where shopping is difficult and frustrating. read more

I just started shopping at Kohl's and enjoyed my experience at the Brier Creek location. I ended up returning items at the Durham location, and encountered the worst customer service I've ever seen. They would not allow me to do a simple exchange and made me bounce back and forth between customer service and the regular register, waiting in lines the whole time. This location seems to be very poorly managed, and most likely will never go back! read more

I cannot give Kohl's any stars. It used to be one of my favorite stores but now it's really bad. I visited Durham location at end of March. They had a 40 inch Westinghouse Smart TV on sale for $251. The sale sign was displayed on the shelf. Not online nor in a newspaper. I told an associate I wanted to purchase the tv. I was informed that they didn't have the tv in the store. It actually haven't been in the store for months. So basically they were false advertising. They displayed a sale sign on a tv that they knew they didn't have but weren't telling the customers. That explains why they no longer do rainchecks. They can't do rainchecks on items they don't carry. I contacted Corporate and made them aware but of course they didn't do anything. I visited the store today and they still have that same sale sign up for that tv and they still do not have the tv in the store. I was told that they don't know when they will get it. Normal stores don't put up for sale signs on items they don't carry. I can understand the sign still up if they ran out of the item. Or it would be ideal to have the sign make clear that all sale items are not sold in all stores. You never know what is for sale because the items on the sale signs does not match the items next to the signs. Displays are just too messy. read more

To say that service is poor here is an understatement. I've seen workers throw entire tables of clean clothes onto the floor before they fold them. And good luck finding service. I waited 10 minutes today even after asking someone and no one ever came. read more

I am done shopping at Kohl's. I recently tried to redeem Kohl's cash and was told that it had already been redeemed. I was given a phone number to call to report this and I was told that they could hold my purchase for as long as I wanted. I asked them to hold it 30 days. When I called the number they gave me a credit of $20, but I was told that I could only use it to place an order over the phone. I went back to the store about 10 days later to get the item that I had placed on hold and was then told that it wasn't there and they only hold items for up to 24 hours. I came home and called to place an order and redeem my $20 credit. I placed the order and was to pick up the item at my store (where it was listed as in stock). Within half an hour after placing the order, I got an email saying that it was out of stock and a $5 coupon for my troubles....no mention of the $20 credit that I had just used. I should call back and try to claim my credit, but it's been so much hassle already that I have decided that I am just done with Kohl's. I refuse to shop there any more. read more
