Great Kohl's location on North Hamilton Road. First time stopping here and decided to run in as I had an Amazon return. Plenty of parking in the large lot and easy in and out of the store. I was warmly greeted as I walked in and directed to the right area of the store. The store was super clean and the return was easy. Of course I couldn't just leave without picking up something. As I was walking out I saw a shirt I liked, on sale of course, but I had a 35% coupon on top of the sale price and $5.00 in Kohl's cash so it worked out perfectly. That extra discount and reward sealed the deal for me today. The three employee interactions I had were great and would definitely stop here again when I am back in the area. read more

There isn't a Kohls very close to me so I often forget about it. It wasn't until I needed to find cool Nike gear for an eight year old that it dawned on me to visit one. I went for what I was hoping would be a quick trip in December to grab a few final gifts for the holidays. It didn't appear to be very busy but the store was a wreck. And I got there around 11 in the morning. Thankfully their boys sections was full and I was able to find a couple items I knew my nephew would love. I know COVID has impacted retail tremendously so I tried to be patient about the long lines, the annoying customers pulling their masks off, and lack of social distancing. The staff was really trying their best to sanitize counters in between customers, keep the lines spaced out, and whatnot. It was more so the customers that weren't complying. All in all, I need to try and remember how much I do like shopping here. I'm sure it's even better outside of the holidays. Their Kohls cash promotions are great too. I've also shopped Kohls online and I've always had a good experience. read more

Starting with why they are getting 4 stars, it doesn't have anything to do with the products available to purchase in their stores. If that were the case, they would be getting 1 star for their horribly overpriced everything in their stores. It is solely due to the fact that they accept Amazon returns. This was my mother's favorite store and she got amazing deals. Of course, she had their card and got all of those wonderful coupons. Now I can say this about them...the best time to go is when there is a sale. Some of my favorite boots came from here...2 pairs of REAL leather knee high boots for $30 (originally $200). Yes ma'am an after winter sale for 75% off...YAY!!!! Back to the today's review....I hated for awhile that they were closed due to COVID-19 and I was stressing over being able to take them my Amazon returns. But no more YAY!! They are back open and taking Amazon returns again. Conveniently located right across the street, can't beat that. read more

I'm not sure if it was just an off night or what but the man taking Amazon returns acted and looked like he'd rather be anywhere but there. He was rude. The staff up front blatantly ignored me. One was counting coupons and the other was putting carts away. Walked all the way back to customer service to ask for a manager who also didn't seem to care so I submitted my complaint about the lack of customer service in his store and he said he'd take care of it but seemed like he couldn't wait for me to be out of his face. So I'm just letting everyone know, maybe go elsewhere if you think you're going to get decent customer service here on a Friday night an hour before close. Probably the worst experience I've had in awhile. I'll take my business elsewhere. No big. There's entirely too many competing companies to waste time on poor customer service. read more

A nice and spacious Kohl's. It is always so clean in here! I mean it's everything you expect from a Kohl's. They have clothes, shoes, house hold items, toys, makeup, and so much more. Decently priced items, but most items are pretty high in quality. It's not my first place to shop, but I usually get coupons from them. They also do Kohl's cash so hey!! I would also sign up for their rewards program so you save a little extra more. I have not had to stand in a long line nor have had to wait a long time. I either go when it's not busy or they're quick enough that I don't feel like I'm waiting a long time? I've even returned stuff and they are quick about it. The only thing I will say is that the employees are nice, but they seem kind of sad to be there. I usually don't get a smile. They're not pushy though! And hey, free wifi! read more

I am here because my wife thinks they have what she needs. Then we are back to do a return. She hates the messy dressing area, so she usually takes it home to try it on. This also helps her match with others in her closet. Can you hear the trap snap down? Gotcha! She is the typical shopper that loses, misplaces a receipt. They give her that crappy Kohls cash that makes her think it's basically free next visit. When she is able to return something, it's no cash back or credit, because they have to refund the expiring Kohls Cash first. Gotcha! I was going to rant about my own experience in the mens department. Gentleman, please take a minute to browse the photo's and video's. Notice the dates are not Black Friday. One time it worked out. I ordered 4 pair of shorts online. All had an uncomfortable fit. I returned them all to the store for full credit. They were one of Kohl's exclusive brands. Hanging sale signs up all over, must make shoppers think that these are great prices. I find these to be average prices, of same quality items, that are not on sale at the other retailer. Pretty typical Kohl's, and I'm surprised I haven't already reviewed it since I've been a dozen times or more. Big, nice store. Crazy busy during sales and holidays. Prices are reasonable, at least during sales. I went this time for my nephew's birthday gift, and they had a good selection of kids' stuff. I also got some gloves on clearance, for my winter jacket. There are a few household things and odds and ends. Not my first choice for shopping, but if it is a weekday and there's a sale, you'll find a good selection of clothes. read more

I was lucky and got a 40% coupon so I headed to the Kohl's in New Albany. Got some really good deals but disappointed that all items are not 40% off. You need to read the small print because apparently Nike does not honor the coupons. I'm not a fan of Nike but happened on a pair of sweats that the length was perfect. I'm short and have trouble getting pants that don't need shortened. So I be bought them. What's nice is Kohl's has not problem with returns. read more

I have a good experience about 10% of the time in this extremely messy store. Things are always out of place and it is very difficult to find anything. Yesterday I visited the customer service desk and told Rachel I wanted to exchange a pair of pants. She processed a return back to the Kohls card (that I am not on) that the receipt showed. Then processed a new sale and then proceeded to tell me that I would have to pay for it since I am not on the account. I told her it was an EXCHANGE! To avoid conflict I paid for it out of my personal funds. So much for a gift. read more

Very poor signage for Amazon returns. After hiking all over the store and pointed to the other side of the store! They need larger and clearer directions for where to go and where to stand. I don't shop the store for a reason. Easier to find parking downtown and deal with traffic than the joke within the store. If you change were to drop off Amazon post it! On store site or something. Kohl's has a little bit of everything. We either walk out with nothing or everything. Employees are few and far between as far as walking around and being helpful. Our last visit right before Christmas we did get pretty much everything we were looking for-fun tees for teenage boys, pj's for grandma, etc. Don't really like the pressure at check out to get Kohl's credit card. read more

Is it a 2 star or is it a 3 star. Some people love Kohl's. For me it has become the Sears where I rarely read the ads and hardly ever shop anymore. But I needed something to put on the floor of the shower because it felt slippery. I wanted something a little nicer but not overly expensive. Went online and saw something that looked like it could work that was on sale. Was it "in stock" at this store? Yes. Was it at the store? No. And it certainly was not the kind of "in demand product" that could possibly be sold out in the time it took me to drive 15 miles. Selection was beyond sparse and certainly did not scream quality at you. The only sale prices here were the buy one get one half off for an overpriced something most people only need one of. Ok onto the clearance section where things are 50-80% off. There were some nice towels there if you want to pay $25-30 for a bath towel. Hubby and I had to chuckle when we heard an announcement to open a register. We went from the parking lot to the bath stuff and back out again and saw no one. Displays are nice so I guess I have to give this Kohl's three stars. Not my store but perhaps it is yours. I wonder if part of the problem are all these weird sales and bonus bucks which surely must increase everyday prices. Kohls was clean and well organized today. It's often quite crazy and messy around the store and in the dressing rooms but today it looked great. I went to pick up an online order and a few minutes into my wait I noticed a sign that said pick up online orders behind the misses register. I got out of line and went up to the misses registers and asked an employee who passed me where I could pick up my order and she said at customer service. I explained that I had seen a sign that said it was behind the misses register and she said that no, it would be at customer service. Luckily another girl overheard us and said that I was in the right spot and that my orders could be picked up nearby. She took me over there and got me my order. Communication with all employees may be helpful. read more

It's not easy for a guy like me to review a department store, but Kohl's makes it easy. You won't typically find me in a department store during a Buckeye game (or any other game), but when I need a good pair of shoes or a new shirt, I always go to Kohl's first. I'm allowed, it's my review! A wonderful attribute about Kohl's is their vast selection of goods. Here's a list of what they have to offer: clothing (women's, juniors', intimates (my favorite!), men's (my second favorite), young men's, kids' & babies'), toys, shoes, jewelry, beauty, bed & bath, kitchen & dining, furniture & home decor, home care, luggage & backpacks, electronics & games and (my absolute favorite) - clearance. Now, that's selection. Don't you agree? What's "selection" without good pricing? Nothing. You're right. Kohl's isn't Walmart when it comes to rock-bottom pricing, but they are a very close second. Plus, they have a much better clothing selection than Walmart, so there's really no comparison when it comes to fine threads. Who goes to Walmart for clothes anyway? Well, maybe kids, but that's where I draw the line. The customer service at Kohl's is second to none. They never give you a hard time when it comes to returns or exchanges. They really want your business and they prove it through their actions. I really enjoy happy people when I shop. It makes the difference for me, especially if I'm not in the best mood myself. The customer service desk is the worst!!! I get that there are two lines (one for the customer service and the other for online pickups,) but when there is one person working and the customer service line backs up, help decrease that line before helping the one person in the online purchase pickup line. I waited over ten minutes in line for a simple return. Was the next person up and after a few minutes someone FINALLY decided to help out the one person working. And wouldn't you know, a guy just happened to walk up in the online purchase line right when that second employee decided to help out. She took that person and then proceeded to help me after that guy got his order. Once I was done, there was probably a good 5-6 people in line!!! This location always has slow service. No wonder why people buy online because no one wants to waste time in line!!!! read more

First, this review is for the company as a whole, not specifically this store. Yelp need a way to specify the company in general (perhaps there is one, I just don't know it) I used to LOVE Kohls. My wife loved it too. Finding deals there was fun, and satisfying. But the company made a decision that totally turned my opinion - by simply changing their billing period to 25 days. I have googled my frustration and I discovered that there are a plethura of other people that have discovered this too. Perhaps it doesn't bother others, but it bugs me how a company that had a great relationship with me and my wife, could do totally alienate us like this. A lot of other people experienced the same thing I did. You pay your Kohls bill one month. If you are like me, you pay automatically via MS Money Bill Pay. So when you get you monthly reminder about the coming bills that are due... you discover that the bill that is coming due in your bill minder, is actually overdue when you look at the bill. I can not help but think they made the decision to change their bill cycle to 25 days to catch a lot of people with additional late penalties and finance charges. This has happened to me more than once until I finally discovered what was going on. In talking with Kohls customer service, they told me they warned me with a letter, and were essentially indifferent to my previous good relationship with them. I am someone who takes pride in an exellent credit score, but when companies pull this stuff, they alienate their customers. I personally hope others discover this before it affects their credit. (perhaps I did shop there a little too much, anyway) Since then I have moved onto Marshalls as my fav store now. read more

I used to love shopping at Kohl's. Lately it seems as though every time I go to this location I have nothing but disappointment, especially with their shoe department. They have an abundant amount of shoes on display, yet none in stock. I love that Kohl's has great sales on their athletic shoes, but as I am on my feet all day at work, I'll pay the price for good shoes sale or not. Last night I looked at shoes ranging from $40 to $100. Each pair that I wanted regardless of the price was out of stock. I understand that it's easy to sell out of a particular brand when it's on sale, but at least take the shoe off the display if you don't have it in stock. Kohl's left me disappointed, and made me wish I would have just got my Asics at Gander Mtn. earlier that evening. We had a very poor experience today at Kohl's New Albany. The customer service employee that waited on us was not helpful and made no attempt to remedy a situation in which we were given inaccurate information regarding two orders we had placed online for in store pick-up. Honestly, it was there mistake and the remedy was to update our order so that we would have $10 Kohl's cash that was due to us from our large order. We were given three different answers over what we needed to do to have the Kohl's cash updated, from there it was a trail of do this or call this number - to later find out - no one wanted to help us. We spend well over 1K there annually, but now we will look at other retailers due to the way we were treated. It's very short sighted on their part. I realize it's $10, but it's the principle. Clothes on the floor in the Women's Department. Clothes on clearance racks were not sorted by size. It was very difficult looking for clothes because of this. I approached two employees talking about another customer in a derogatory way to ask directions to the restroom and they continued to talk to each other and ignored me. I literally have not been to Kohls in years. They have seriously stepped up their game on security of merchandise as well as their price displays. They do not play around in the checkout lines either, it is an efficient system. I get coupons in the mail from when my sister lived with us and use to work there, I am pricing blenders, so I thought I would check out this store.
